I ordered the services of this company to transport my daughters car from Teas to **********. I missed the first ******* However, they assured me they would obtain another driver and get back with me. However, after multiple attempts- they never did. After reading through some of the other complaints, Ive come to realize Ive been scammed by Autotransworld.Original pickup date was 9/27/24 at ******** one ever showed , they told me his tow truck was messed up and if I wanted picked up that same day it would be another $500. They sent me ID of the driver that was suppose to pick me up. Looks like a legit ***. Told me it would be 3 days until they can send someone else out. I gave them my last bit of money to get home to help my family. This company needs shut down, and everyone of these scammers need prosecuted to the fullest extent. I have all documentation saved and the picture of the guys CDLs if you need them let me know.Initial Complaint

On 07/19/2024, I reach out to Auto trans world for transport service of a vehicle. I was quoted a price, and was advised it was all inclusive. (See attachment). I was sent an agreement and information for pick-up and drop-off location was set. I zelled an ******************************* (using american names although, their from another country, *****) $190, He said everything was set.I called back 2 days later and was told the driver will callfor pick-up within 2 hours prior to picking up. Never heard back anything from these SCAMMERS, until pick-up date July 26th. I texted, and called several times with no response. I elevated my contacts ny calling several other numbers listed for this company. Several hours later, I received a text, asking me why was I upset? I kept the conversation business like by asking what time is the driver expected? He began to stall by saying let him check with dispatch and lying the whole time. This is when I finally realized that this business is toltally unreliable, and they are doing this to everybody that makes contact with them. The disrespect, the lies, misleading me was totally unacceptable, Not sure why this scammer is still in business in the **. I continuously kept asking for my money back, and then I received a "MIDDLE FINGER" emoji to display how he felt about me questioning his incompetence. Derelects like this should not be allowed to even walk on US soil.Initial Complaint

My boyfriend and I requested a quote for transporting our truck from *****, ** to ******, **. I received a phone call and text message ************ - representing AutoTransWorld. ******************* advised of the price for the transport and requested a deposit of $200 via zelle or venmo. After speaking with my boyfriend - they agreed upon a total price. I sent the $200 deposit to AutoTransworld via zelle (********************************************) on 06/23/2024. The truck was supposed to be picked up the same day. After about a hour, the ************ number asked for the rest of the fee for service because the driver was trying to get his truck fixed and was having trouble. I advised **** that I was not comfortable paying for full service when the truck hasn't even been picked up. He told me everything is fine he just needs to get his truck fixed. I asked for the service to be cancelled as I realized this was a scam and was told that I would get my deposit back within 3 days. I filed a dispute with my bank and was told that there was nothing they could do and that I need to contact the better business bureau for further processing. They have changed their number on their website to another number, but all the information is still the same.Initial Complaint

Complaint Description:I wanted to transport my car to another state, they told me to zelle them the deposit first of $280 dollars, and they were going to pick it up between 24 and 48 hours they never did I called them they told me the driver was on its way, I waited for them never came for the car, I spoke to the manager he told me that they were gonna send me my money back if I send them more money, I never canceled on them I never told them I didn't want the service, based on the ****** reviews eventually they are known for taking people's deposit and not picking up there cars and just be lying and scamming.Initial Complaint

Secured auto transport contract for senior citizen veteran father on 7/2 via phone and email and *****. I paid $300 required deposit on $890 invoice for Saturday pickup of vehicle on 7/6 for enclosed transport. Called 7/5 to Karona Transport who was the company listed on ****************************** and they did not have my order. Called AutoTrans World 7/5 and they confirmed pick up early afternoon of 7/6. Called 7/6 when truck did not arrive and they advised it would be another $1400-$1600 for same day pickup and refused to refund me deposit even though I have been advised since 7-2 that truck would be picked up by 7/6. My contract was signed in 7/2 for a 7/6 pickup with my deposit paid and now this company will not honor the contractual amount and refuses to refund my deposit.Initial Complaint

Myself and my mother reached out to Auto Trans World to schedule a pickup transportation service to transport my vehicle from ******** to ********. We were provided a quote and informed we needed to pay a deposit for the service. A deposit was sent on 5/12/24 for a scheduled pick up on 5/18/24. I also signed a contract for the agreed upon date. My mother confirmed with the company on 5/17/24 that they were still planning to proceed with the service. I also reached out but never heard anything back. On 5/18/24, we did not hear from the company and they did not pick up my vehicle. Myself and my mother reached out multiple times throughout the day and did not hear anything back. I request a refund from the person we originally spoke with. They reached out the following day, no apology for the inconvenience. I called the company to also request a refund that way and the staff I spoke to stated I would need to pay more money to schedule another transportation service with them and after explaining the situation I was still unsuccessful with getting refunded. I stressed the service was not followed through on the agreed date in addition to signing a contract. I also reached out again to the person me and my mother originally spoke to who coordinated the service to request a refund and was still unsuccessful with getting my money back. This was my second time using this company. I used them several months ago and did experience this issue.
