I have repeatedly tried to cancel one of two subscriptions. Ive been hung up on 3 times. So now Im canceling my other subscription. When we subscribed to Life Lock I could speak with a professional. Now Im worried about our security. Norton must job out there departments & services.

I got a new computer about 3 years ago. On this computer I have never installed Norton anti-virus protection yet on May 19th I received an e-mail stating that there was an automatic withdraw of a few hundred bucks from my account to pay for a subscription renewal which I never ordered, nor do I want. I called their phone number five times to resolve the situation, and they ended up hanging up on me every time I called after just a few minutes. Each time they hung up it seemed to be when I refused to provide them with a band and account numbers to refund the money to. This definitely sounds like a scam to get bank account info. because they don't have a credit card to charge it to because I don't use credit cards.

Norton Life Loc charged me ***** on April ******* not authorized. When I asked them about a refund said they can't offer a refund but said because I cancelled a service I didn't order they won't charge me again. This is a scam at that price I wouldn't have signed up for it.

Norton is phishing for PCI (Personal Credit Information) as a standard practice. They have no need for this information but once you purchase their product they require it in order to activate the product. Thus unless you give them your PCI you cannot acquire the product you purchased. This was verified by directly contacting Norton's support and speaking directly to a supervisor named: ******. This practice is not only unethical but borders on illegal as PCI should only be acquired on an as needed basis and Norton does not need this information to provide the product that has already been purchased. Thus, the only conceivable reason they are doing this is to collect PCI illegally under the pretext that it is required when it is not.
