Absolutely horrible. It has been 5 phone calls, 5 weeks, 3 broken promises on return calls, and 4 times my case has been expedited. Such a sorry experience.Review from Randy R

Avoid purchasing anything from avast. Despite their 30 day money back guarantee, their customer service chat makes it nearly impossible to cancel because the other person on the other end is doing everything in their power to make you stay on. I literally said Im not in financial position right now to be spending on this software yet the customer service rep keeps offering discounts or typing other BS to likely discourage you from cancelling and ending the chat. It took 30 minutes to cancel and refund $65. 30 minutes! Avoid this software company at all costs and do business with someone else with good ethics.Review from Dawn G

The absolute worst customer service in the world! I would never recommend this company to anyone. I called to do something that should be simple. My first phone call was at 10 AM. My last phone call was at 7 PM, of the 12 people I spoke with only one of them completely understood the English language, six of them hung up on me. Only one of them understood what I was trying to do. They spoke poor English, and they might know the English words, but they couldn't put them together in a sentence in order to understand what they meant. I was reporting a death and needed to close the account, I needed the information on where to send the death certificate to. It took 9 extremely frustrating, excruciatingly painful hours, 12 phone calls & 2 chats to reach a human being that understood the English language and could solve that problem. It took him a total of 10 minutes to completely get the info & submit it. No one should ever have to go through 9 hours of pure h*** to report a death and close an account..Review from Jo R

The most horrible customer service I have ever encountered. Worse than Tmobile or Xfinity, which is really hard to top (below bottom quality) 30 min into first call, transferred 3 times, with no attentive active listening, note taking or concern for the app not providing the protection it promisses. Rude CSRs in *****, interrupt, try to redirect outside of their company, just to avoid work, thoughtless, transferring from person to person, each asking the same questions, each verifying information and clueless as what the call is about (notes? What are those?). Cultural differences and complete and utter impunity, without call tracing or recording...they feel they are *********** treating customer as necessary evil, not someone paying their salaries. They place on hold, with silence on the air, waiting for customer to hang up. 1 hr 9 min into 2 calls...no resolution. Typical lack of customer support culture for *****. Not the country to outsource the customer service/technical support. Horrible- bottom line only and no customer support for a product that is supposed to protect the client, but does nothing to do so.Review from Beth F

Attempted to cancel and get a refund on the date I was charged. Attempted to use the chat feature twice and waited over an hour, twice, before closing the chat. Attempted calling three times and got hung up on during the transfer all three times. It was an intentional hang up. After calling three times right in a row, its not an accident to be hung up on. I cant tell you how I ended up with a phone number *************). I just started typing words into the search field on the support page and at some point I got a case number and a phone number. That phone number might not exist outside my case number, not sure though. There is no phone number or chat button that is easy to access. initially, I clicked on the contact us link and got a search field. I typed cancellation and refund and picked the top article which directs you to the support page. You click on the support link and it circles you back to the initial support/contact menu making you type in your concerns again only to say contact support with a link that circles you right back to the menu page. Its feels what h*** might be like an endless loop of nothingness. I hope Norton dies a long painful death into obscurity. Be sure you are logged into your account because youll be assigned a case number and then asked to get a temporary code each time you reach out to CS, they wont text you a number you have to use a link which expires after 3 minutes each time you reach out. You cannot have a chat open and be waiting to speak with someone AND then try calling support to see who answers first, because you cant have two verification codes open at the same time with the same case number. Which is why you have to be logged into your account to get a verification code tied to your case number. But, if you close the chat or hang up the phone, youll be asked to get a new verification code, effectively ending both sessions as the same time which pushes you to the back of the imaginary cue. ??????Review from Safia S

I cannot remove this software from my computer. It prevents me from steaming and locked me out of every one of my online accounts. I deleted my apps and even factory reset my computer. It is still there. I literally cannot use my desktop. DO NOT EVER ORDER. DO NOT EVER DOWNLOAD. IT MESSES UP YOUR ENTIRE SYSTEM!!!!Review from Richard C

They have taken $85. From my account for this PC tune up which I do not have. I contacted them and they said they would refund my money within 7 days. Now it has been more than two weeks and nothing at all. I do not recommend this business at all, they are very crooked and thieves as well as liars.Review from Todd W

Horrible customer service. Paid $50 for annual subscription for Norton 360 security and VPN.The app crashed and I had do delete it. Now I can't logon to my subscription. Spent 4+ hours on the phone and 11 phone calls. No help
