    On July 14, 2025, I dropped off my Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch (Model A2251, Serial C02D54L4ML7J, grey with stickers on top, estimated value $500) at Computer PC Specialists in *************, **, for data recovery. I paid a $100 diagnostic and service deposit and have a receipt as proof.After more than two months with no updates, I contacted the shop multiple times by phone and text. The shop eventually requested the password to my computer, confirming that no work had been performed. I then decided not to continue services and requested only the return of my laptop.Despite my requests, the business refused to return my property. The shop owner, through employees, has now demanded $200 to release my laptop, which I have not agreed to pay. I am concerned for the safety of my MacBook due to repeated pressure from the business.I am seeking the return of my laptop in its current condition without requiring any additional payment.
