            The people working at this business get you to pay $500 for the animal & tell you that it includes vaccines and Spay/neuter, yet once they get your money they do whatever they can to make it so they don’t have to pay for it. They sent me an email Aug2 saying that I had by Aug5 to confirm 2 appointments that they make you take (no option for any other date) to 1. Get my paperwork from them & give them more money & the 2nd appt was her surgery. During Aug 2-5 I was dealing with an infection inside my bone that was eating my finger so I was going down(hour away) to my Dr and having surgery in his office & going back to check on the wound. All that to say I didn’t have time to dig thru my emails but once I did on the 7th, I replied but they denied me having my dog spade because I didn’t reply in time. I told them I was dealing with an emergency and she kept demanding proof. I was at work so I showed her my wound but she wanted all my medical records- which is illegal according to HIPPA laws. I told her I would take another appt but she said I had 24hrs to send my medical records or they won’t pay for my dog’s surgery. I sent her my ER diagnosis & the texts from the Dr after my visits but she said I had time to respond and I don’t get the service. I even sent her a text from my doctor saying that I had another appointment the same day(Aug 11)that she would’ve had to been spayed anyway so I couldn’t have made it anyway. She is trying any way she can to get out of the agreement they made to pay for my dog to be spay. I believe this is no way to ethically run a business and she has violated many HIPPA laws by demanding my medical records.

            Please avoid this rescue at all costs. They’re rude, unprofessional and condescending which is not what a rescue should be. I paid the full adoption fee for a kitten with the agreement that the rescue would pay for the spay and microchip. There is also a page in the contract stating they will take care of your vaccine appt, but when you call to make the appt they then tell you you have to use your own vet. They rush you through the adoption process and add on a bunch of overpriced supplies. I followed everything on the contract precisely. I emailed them for a spay appointment and cannot get ahold of anyone. They won’t return my emails, and their voicemail box is full. There are many wonderful rescues in the area, this is definitely not one of them!

            Wow, seriously you are lying! We have many corresponding emails where we have responded to all of your emails. And yes we have moved and because of the move our phone wasn't working for a month because of the transfer. But we still communicated through email and have the emails as proof. You were informed and signed a document that we do not provide the vaccines and that they are the responsibility of the adopter. This was explained to you verbally and then in writing. You were giving an appointment for you kitty's spay for July 3rd and you did not want that day. So we had to cancel your appointment because of this. And now you're here spreading lies. We can provide proof from our vet of this appointment with your kitty's personal information so people can see that you're being untruthful. We work tirelessly everyday saving animals including the one you adopted. Be friendly, helpful, and courteous. Not hateful, negative, and unethical.

            This is a follow-up to my previous review. I posted my original review on July 24th and miraculously, I was offered a spay appointment from the rescue on July 25th, which I accepted and have proof of that. I never said there was no correspondence. I said after multiple attempts to contact them for the spay and microchip, I got no response….until I posted the review. They then cancelled my appointment because they said I “trashed” them online. Fair enough. I will GLADLY take my cat elsewhere to get spayed and keep my right to put the word out about this rescue because they are “trash”. They sent me an email calling me names and insulting my character. I feel the need to come back here to defend my integrity. Please heed all the warnings and reviews . Save yourself the hassle because there are a lot of great rescues out there. Don’t waste your time with this one.
