Car Audio Depot installed a brand new alarm system on our company vehicle back in December 2021. They tapped into the electrical system of our vehicle and carelessly cut a wire and taped it back up. Since that time our vehicle has been having electrical issues. We have warranty on this vehicle so we were able to take it our local dealer ******************** to figure out what the issues was. They discovered these wires and talked to Car Audio directly (since they do have a working relationship with this company as well). They have provided proof of where these wires were cut and taped (pictures are given). We have paid Car Audio money to install and take out the alarm throughout the investigation of these electrical issues. Never once did they admit their fault. After discovering and having concrete proof from dealer, (which by the way costs about several hundred dollars from our own pocket) to ask them to make amends. The owner ***** denied such damages. We will be pursuing legal course if this matter is not resolved. I would not recommend anyone going to this company for any repairs since honesty is not their policy. Our vehicle still needs to be fixed by the dealer and obviously we want CAR AUDIO to be responsible for the entire cost as well as what we paid in the past couple months just to get some answers on what went wrong with our vehicle.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and I would like Car Audio to pay the following:

    1. PAY for the truck repairs which is being serviced right now at ******************** dealer. Let us know how CAR AUDIO would like to pay for this- PAY THE DEALER OR REIMBURSE US???

    2. REIMBURSE for all the alarm that was paid to put in the vehicle and to take it out - all in full. Let us know how CAR AUDIO would like to take care of this?

A clear cut instruction on time and place to settle this case. We would like an understanding on how the business owner intends to take care of this matter.

We will update BBB if this business owner really has followed through with his response. PLEASE KEEP THIS COMPLAINT OPEN!

    Hi,

Car Audio Depot reimbursed us for the damages that was done by their technicians by paying for the repairs on our vehicle. They also refunded us for the alarm services that we paid to install and remove due to their negligence. The case should be closed.
