Constant harassment over phone calls despite repeated requests to cease and desist. My partner and I literally just brought our newborn home and I was called 11 times in 6 hours.Business Response

We are sorry to hear about this experience. In looking at our records, we do not show we have called that many times. Those numbers do not belong to our company. However, we have removed your information from our website and you can rest assured that you will not be getting additional calls from SOLD.com.Customer Answer

On August 16, 2022 I purchased a 1 year package from Sold.com for $2,541.00. I was promised quality real estate leads. I was told that these leads were pre-screened & the homeowners had inquired about selling their property. Every lead that Sold.com provided me had the wrong number or the homeowner had absolutely no idea why I was calling because they stated that they had no interest in selling. The homeowners also stated that they did not inquire on any site about selling their home. I called the company immediately after purchasing the 1 year package complaining about this. I was told to wait 3 months, then I would see quality leads come in. I called back at 3 months, still with no results, I was told to wait another 3 months. It has now been 6 ********** have not received any quality leads that I was promised. I believe that I was SCAMMED out of my money & that I was given FAKE LEADS of people who have never inquired about selling their homes. I am requesting a full refund of $2,541.00. I have called the company several times to request a ********** cannot get in contact with a live person, it goes to voicemail. I have left multiple voicemails.Business Response

Hi ***** - We show that we delivered 146 referrals and 2 home consultations that our team generated for you. We show we spoke with you on 8/15, 8/24, 11/8, 11/9. We do not see any recent vm left or email sent. The last appointment, you left this note in your agent portal:
"Visited *************, property 9/19/22 and met with ****** and ****************** was a retire law enforcement and also did construction on the side. Looking to sell and put money down for their oldest daughter. The daughter may be looking into st. ***** out in suffolk for 1.2mil house more of a mother daughter split and they take the smaller portion..."
Per your own notes, this appointment took place, and was "looking to sell". Your review appears to be a misrepresentation of our product and what has transpired. Clearly we are driving leads to you and I can assure you we are not a scam. We have generated meaningful business to our agent partners and are committed to continuing to do that.

How things were initially pitched to me are completely different to the quality of leads that I have received and that has been my biggest challenge with this company. I have not received any returned phone calls to settle the matter clearly because the company must be fully aware of the poor quality leads they provide, so it is easier to avoid communication. These leads were promised to be warm qualified leads. However, they have been anything but. I am simply not interested in this system any further. It was a mistake to purchase a full year and I would like to to receive a refund for the time which has not been used.Business Response

Your review seems to be a misrepresentation of what has transpired. I called several times after the days you stated & have left voicemails with no returned calls.
I was not provided warm quality leads that I was promised.
2 homes consultations were not generated for me.
I went on one appointment that resulted from a cold call.
I was provided a list of 146 phone numbers, not a list of 146 qualified referrals that I was promised.
You stated Clearly we are driving leads this simply isnt true. If I was told at the time of purchase that your definition of driving me leads would be providing me a cold list of 146 numbers of homeowners who will have no idea why Im calling though I may get lucky and call one person who is looking to sell.. I would not have made the purchase.
I will feel assured that you are not a scam when I am provided a refund. If you are truly committed to generating meaningful business to your partner agents, you will refund the money due to the fact that I was not provided the service that I was sold.

Sold.com advertises on-line referrals for real estate agents. I stupidly set up a profile on their site thinking they are reputable like many other companies I work with. They are not. They since added an increase to their percentage so I can't go on their site and remove my profile without agreeing to pay more for services they don't provide. Consequently I have emailed and called repeatedly to get my profile removed and the agreement canceled. They continue to ignore me. They provide nothing to the agents yet expect a 30% referral fee when a property closes they they have on their list. Supposedly the owner "viewed" our profile but we don't get their email address or their phone numbers so we don't even know that it was legitimate but they watch for the addresses on their list of site visitors to close and even if it wasn't you but someone in your office that closed the property they expect a 30% referral fee. It is a ridiculous ask and absolutely unethical to say the least. I have even sent them a registered letter to get them to stop displaying my profile and they won't sign for it.Business Response

Hi *** - We removed you from our network on 1/19/23 and sent confirmation of such. Unfortunately, this review is a misrepresentation of what our service is and how it works. We work with thousands of agents and have helped them find success. You have not paid our company anything. You signed up for free in order to receive success-based referrals which you would only pay a fee on if you legitimately used the information we provided or accepted an appointment that our company set up for you (per our referral agreement with you). It looks like you have a few appointments that you accepted from our company. Per our referral agreement, should you end up listing one of the clients you accepted an appointment from us, you will still be subject to a referral fee. Should you not list and work with any of our clients, you owe nothing. Should you provide documentation that you obtained the client information from your own efforts or another source, you owe nothing. You just need to be able to demonstrate that the information we provided was not how you procured the listing.
We can confirm that you have been removed from our network, you stopped being promoted (for free) to clients in your zip codes on 1/19/23 when you requested to be removed and you will not be promoted to any clients in the future on SOLD.com. We are sorry you did not see the value in the clients we sent your way, we wish you the very best.

Spent $3,000 in August *** the zip codes I bought they said I would get ***** active and ***** passive leads - TO DATE I have received zero active leads.I have spoken to five different people from their company concerning their lies. They just pass me around like Im dumb.So ZERO active leads. Every passive lead had no idea who sold.com and some were renters, and a few just bought a home and tons were never even selling and had NO IDEA how I got their info.I have gotten a total of 2-3 text for a click to claim lead and NOBODY ever said my $3,000 was going to get me in a round ***** for click to claim. This is a SUPER SCAM and should be avoided at ALL COST!Business Response

Hi ***** - Thanks for the feedback. It looks like we had our manager reach out to you to explain the situation and resolve your concerns. I also see a note in our system that this was escalated to one of the co-founders of the company, who met with you, refunded your money and even approved a period of free leads for you so you can experience some of the "active" appointments through the system. With a full refund provided and a free period for receiving appointments, we trust that your concern has been resolved and are confident that you will realize for yourself that the program is legit and works - just like the thousands of agents we have in the program that have already seen success. We look forward to you getting your first deal through our platform.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. They have fully resolved this and sounds like they are going thru some growing pains. They have done right by me in refunding the money and the co-founder DID reach out. He did say they would keep me on and give me active leads so they can prove these are good leads. So I will wait and see if they are decent and then I have no problem spending money on Sold.com platform. But for now, they have to figure out whats no working. Its SOUNDS like I just wasn't getting good leads - I don't know. But they FINALLY were responsive with me and the first 2-3 people I spoke to were complete jerks. In the end, they did do the right thing and that is what matters.

After participating in a webinar for sold.com, I agreed to purchase 5 zip codes for real estate leads (potential clients). My team leader purchased leads as well. My cost was $3,000. The webinar said that these leads would be vetted by sold.com and would be people who were interested in possibly selling their homes with the help of a realtor. I purchased the zip codes on October 31, 2022. I have only had one lead sent to me since the purchase and the phone number given did not work. However, we have worked several leads sent to my team leader. One that I called said she never expressed interest to sold.com in selling her home. Another lead was a person who did not actually own the home. Another lead was actually selling his home as a "for sale by owner" Another lead was a realtor herself. After discovering that the quality of these leads was not what we we had been promised, I called ***** (the salesperson who I bought the zip codes from). I left a message, waited a week, and then called again on Nov. 15, 2022. He called me back and I explained that I was dissatisfied and he said his manager would call me back. The manager called me on Nov. 16. He told me that they were not issuing refunds. I feel that this business misrepresented the way that leads are obtained and that I am entitled to a refund.Business Response

Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you have been on the platform for a few days and the opportunities you have seen so far are the clients who have come to our website and not yet qualified by the concierge team. Being an online platform, there will be some leads that come through that are not great opportunities. We are constantly working to enhance our lead qualifying technology to minimize this. However, you have not yet received a concierge qualified appointment to meet a home seller in their home. We highlight these appointments in our webinars and strongly recommend you wait to judge the program until you receive those opportunities or at least experience more than a week or two on the platform. Even the opportunities you have received in just a few days, may actually materialize to a listing opportunity...for example, the **** you shared. 90%+ of ****s that come to us list with an agent. We know the program works...if you are not seeing success at the end of your term, feel free to reach out again and we would be happy to review.Initial Complaint

On 12/7/21 I purchased a lead generation program for one year in the amount of $1815. On 4/7/22 I filed a complaint asking for at least a partial refund. They only apologized and did nothing. The leads were unsuspecting owners who asked me to take them off the call list; something I can do but sold.com continues to call them making me look bad. They were irate that I reached out to them in the first place and said they were NOT considering selling their home. These were not people casually surfing the internet looking for a value on their home. Some of the names given didnt even match the owner of record. I did not get ANY value for the service they promised. Not one lead. I do not want this happening to another unsuspecting Realtor.Business Response

Hi *********, we also got this feedback from the review you posted on Sitejabber. We had our manager call you directly to work out a resolution. You had replied back after hearing from our manager, "The manger that called me extended my service for 6 months. Lets see what happens." I am sorry you didn't see success yet but I can assure you it works. Given the free extension of 6 months, you appeared to be satisfied as of 11/18/22. We are happy to connect with you at the end of the 6 month free extension of the service to hear how things have gone. We respectfully request that you bare with us and allow us the opportunity to show what the platform can do over the next 6 months. You can reach out to management or our agent support team if you need help with questions, tips on how to convert, etc.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. If after the extension there is a considerable improvement I will be happy to submit a positive review. I do not anticipate much from an extra 6 months of the same kind of leads but I am glad someone responded. I consider this complaint resolved.

I have received multiple calls and texts from a company called Bellhop that was provided my information from Sold.com. We apologize for the inconvenience. It looks like we spoke with you in July 2021 about purchasing your home through one of our cash offer partners. At the time, you had consented to be contacted by our cash offer partners as well as other SOLD.com partners who could either help you sell or save money. We have unsubscribed you from our system, deleted your info and added you to our DNC list. We have also instructed Bellhop to do the same. You will not be contacted again by SOLD.com or any partner of SOLD.com. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or trouble.
