On July 24, 2019, I pre-ordered a Rolex watch, GMT-18kt Everose Gold model # ****** from Swiss Watch Gallery located at **********************************************. I was charged $18,750 by the then store manager *****, as deposit for pre-ordering the watch. The deposit was charged against three different cards. Specially, $11,750 charged on **** debit ending in #****; $5,000 on master credit card ending in **** and $2,000 on **** credit card ending in 5280.Unfortunately, for almost four years, Swiss Watch Gallery was never able to secure the pre-ordered watch. On July 12, 2023, the store proceeded with the full refund. They processed the refund and presented two refund transaction slips: $11,750 and $5,000 to the original payment method. The store failed to present the refund receipt of the remaining $2,000. Since my business is overseas, I had to spend a majority of the time in ******. To our surprise, when I returned home in December, 2023, I discovered none of the alleged refunds were received by my bank. I had inquired with **** of America and went through all the transactions on these three cards/accounts with **** staff. Upon thorough search and verification, BOA bank staff came to the conclusion that the alleged refund in July 2023 were never made. I went to Swiss Watch Gallery located in ********* to resolve the problem. I explained that the refunds never hit my bank. The store personnel refused to help with anything but insisted that they had no obligation to me. I had reason to believe this is a merchant fraud. The refunds were initiated first but was quickly reversed. That is the only reasonable explanation. $18,750 is a lot of money. I have exhausted all other remedies and would like to contact your office for help.
