BEWARE!!!! We had a large plumbing issue that happened on Father's Day Sunday and they completely took advantage of our sense of urgency. Another plumber came in later and quoted less than half of what these guys charge. Do NOT fall into their trap. I'm thousands of dollars poorer because I did.

Total ripoff, 77 dollar special includes 10 feet of snake to tell you that your drain is blocked and that they will need to put a camera down the pipe to check for a 275 dollar fee. Next was the ***** dollar high pressure water treatment. Told them to leave, went to **********, bought a 32 dollar snake and ran into my pipe about 25 feet, slow drain problem solved. ***** this company at all cost, they are a complete and total ripoff.

This company is run by ******. They LIED about what was wrong. They OVER INFLATED their prices and scared a 95 year old veteran out of $2,000 to fix a problem that wasnt there. They showed FAKE IMAGES of a pipe crack and of a medicine bottle supposedly stuck in the pipe. We found out from the **********************'s plumber that that pipe is inactive and that any reputable company would have known that. When I asked **** for the images I was ignored. **** and ***** gave my 95 year old Father an estimate of $17,000 to fix a FAKE PROBLEM. My mother who is ************************************************* need of a working toilet. Luckily "we" stepped in and saved him - "not this company" - Rooter Hero and their unscrupulous gang of thieves were going to take him for every ***** he has. I have lawyers on this - Im hoping to recover the $2,000 THEY STOLE. DO NOT USE THEM. Shame on ***** and Shame on ****. ***** on this company THEYRE CROOKS!!

"Technician" wouldn't accept coupon for drain cleaning kitchen. He charged me full price after telling me he didn't need the coupon. Such blatant thievery by just thinking he could ignore me and act like he didn't care. I called the company twice about it and was told I'd get a refund for the difference. 6 weeks later, nothing DO not use this company.

I had a kitchen sink clogged, and called root hero plumbing to take care. The technician was on time in the window time. But the estimate was way over the reasonable price. I told him I used 25 feet snake to unclog but it didnt work, then he said he needs to do a more complicated job using jet washer, and maybe needs to break the wall to open the drain line, and the estimated cost will be $1844! I have no idea how he got this number. Then I declined his estimate and decided to look for someone else. Later, my brother in law brought a jet washer and did the job easily within half hour. I was very mad about these plumbers with their exaggerated estimates! Will never use this company in the future!

Appalled at the practice of this so-called "emergency" company. New Years Eve my senior citizen mother noticed her toilet had clogged and sewage was coming up from her shower drain. As a recently widowed woman that had never handled house repairs on her own, she rightfully panicked and looked to an emergency plumber to help. This place could only come out the next day (which is not what I'm complaining about). They immediately swooped in with jargon and lingo that no lay-person would know without extensive knowledge of plumbing. My mother is fortunate to live an upper class neighborhood and I'm sure that played into what transpired next. What they said happened was that the toilet was not put in up to code and the pipe underneath was "riddled" with holes and in danger of crumbling apart. They recommended putting an epoxy through about 10 ft of pipe and raise the toilet to code. They showed a monitor that displayed what a camera saw and pointed to random things on screen saying "That's a problem" and "Oh wow look there" when THERE WAS NOTHING that could be clearly seen. Grand total? 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS. $15,000!Feeling bound by their findings and her own fears she agreed to the work. Once work was complete they said they wanted to look around the other pipes because "you just never know." Lo and behold, they found more problems. Grand total to fix everything they "found?" FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. Are you kidding me? Luckily I was able to arrive and ask them to leave without doing any more work. They said they could knock $3000 off if they put it all on the same invoice and I said no.Calling our normal plumber who had been out of town, he came in and inspected EVERYTHING they looked at. What did he find? Toilet raising would have been at most $140. The pipes are NOWHERE near as bad as they stated and if they ever did need to be fixed, it would be $2000. Shame on this company for preying on fears and desperation. There's a special place in h*** reserved for them

Bad Practices and Tactics on behalf of ************************** We were 99 percent positive where the leak was coming from. This company still contracted out *** for leak detection. Leak was discovered within 15 minutes and the cost was ($790.00). Two days later, the ************************** Repairman arrived to fix the *** pipe. I had returned from travel by then, and was present at the time of the Repairmans arrival. He then informed us it would cost an additional ($1,400.00) to repair the *** pipe. I could not believe that ************************** was charging that much money to fix a *** pipe that was visible. I asked the Repairman to leave. I told him that he would not be fixing the *** Pipe and that I was going to call another company. I called a Repairman from Lead and Oakum Plumbing and Drains and the charge was ($300.00). ************************** clearly took advantage of my wife while I was on travel. *****I am a 34 Year Active Duty Navy Captain. Military Families, this company is a complete scam, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. *****

This company is very dishonest. They have a PENDING DISCIPLINARY ACTION by the California Contractors State License Board (***************************************************************************************). I regret signing contract with them before checking.Due to the pressure of an emergency backup of our sewer line, I have agreed to their quoted price of $8,876.00 to replace about 4 feet of damaged section of sewer line with new ABS piping and to install 2 clean outs. The dug out was at the depth of approximately 4 Feet. After the replacement, they recommended to line the sewer from the replaced section to the city main line at distance of about 27 feet with the quote of $7,********* this point, I believed that their prices are too excessive. I have went to the Better Business Bureau to research your company and request quote from other plumbing companies. One of the company that contacted me, the owner happen to lives in my neighborhood, has told me that he would have given me a quote of $4,200 for the pipe replacement and $6,800.00 for both jobs of pipe replacement and lining to the city main.

Beware of this company. They came out to unclog my drain and told me I had a broke line under my slab and it would cost 16k to repair. I called my neighbors company and drain was unclogged in 15 minutes. This company is dishonest. Stay away from them. It was a nightmare.

They replaced a water heater in my home for $6,000 - far exceeding what I believe the cost to be for replacement. It it my fault I didnt get any other bids. They took advantage. They installed incorrectly and didnt pass inspection. I was told by the inspector their install could cause water damage. Rooter Hero also failed to send me the permit even though the inspector says I should have received it from them. Theyve also failed to set up an appointment with me to correct the issue. So I remain with an incomplete setup, no permit and a failed inspection. And I havent heard from Rooter Hero for weeks even though Im calling them weekly to request to have this completed.
