I submitted a warranty claim for my ******* **** medium-sized suitcase which broke via an online form. The first automatic email response came to me on 5/3/2025 from ************************* asking for additional information, which I provided on the same day. The following day 5/4/2025 they agreed to ship a new suitcase and asked me to fill out a form - which was predominantly the same information I have already shared twice at this point (once in the initial inquiry, and once via email). After completing this form on 5/5/25, I was informed in a response email: "We want to let you know that your replacement is now in progress, and we expect it to take approximately 4-8 weeks."On June 10th, I still had not received any updates, tracking information, or confirmation that my bag replacement was being processed. I wrote an email asking for an update, to which they responded: "It looks like we are still working on shipping out your replacement. Please allow 2-3 weeks to have a tracking number available. We appreciate your patience during this time."I responded on the same day to say this was unacceptable and that I needed a confirmed timeline of when I could expect a replacement. They did not respond so I emailed again 3 weeks later on 7/2/25. They yet again did not responded so I sent an additional email on 7/10/25 saying "I am following up again on the replacement status of my suitcase - I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau by the end of this week if I do not have a response to my email sent on Tuesday, June 10th at 8:40pm PST."I received a response that day, 7/10/25 claiming the claim was processed but unfortunately their system shut down unexpectedly, and all claims had to be put on hold. They checked and my bag was in stock and they were to ship out the next day and provide shipping information. This has yet to happen, I've followed up again and no response.Business Response

I purchased this luggage March 2025 at a *******. I used the luggage once and the wheel came off April 2025. My initial contact with this company to inform them of the mishap and take advantage of the warranty was late April 2025. I must admit it was extremely hard to get in touch with anyone via phone call email. No one was responding whatsoever. Finally a form was sent to me to fill out to have another luggage sent to me. That was May 2025. It is now almost the end of July and I have not heard anything. I reached out in June to find out the status of my claim. I also reached out in July to find out the status of my claim I have not received a response as of yet I've also informed them that I really need this luggage for August cause we're getting married. At this point is unprofessional. I'm still awaiting a tracking number for the delivery of my luggage or perhaps just sent me a check for what I paid for it.Business Response

I purchased a luggage set on 11.6.2022. It has a 3 year warranty. I have tried COUNTLESS times since 9.23.24 to get a hold of customer service. I have emailed from the link on their site, I have called and left multiple VMs on the machine (they say they will call back within 72 hours). I still have no heard a word. I just want the company to stand behind the 3 year warranty they have on the product.Business Response

Olivet manages the lifetime warranty for my luggage set (brand ******* **** Reaction). I sent in a request for damaged luggage via email. They replied asking me to fill out a form which I did on May 16. On May 17 they then said claim was approved and I would receive replacement luggage in the mail in 4-8 weeks. I followed up several times and they stopped responding. I also called and received no response to voicemails. And I have not received luggage and we are past the 8 week maximum. Id like for them to honor the lifetime warranty promised with the luggage and send the replacement **** in accordance with what they confirmed approved claim. Alternatively, some type of credit for me to replace the luggage.Business Response

On 4/2/2022 I purchased an i-pack Impact Rose **** luggage set at ******. My receipt says 3 year warranty with Olivet International, the makers of this product.I paid $124.99 plus CA tax. The luggage largest piece cracked and a piece fell off. It is broken. I have been calling Every 3 days since this occurred starting 3/11/25. I have also emailed 9 times. I left a message EVERY time. Their voicemail says they will return calls within 72 hours. I have NOT received an email OR call back. They are purposely running my warranty out to NOT replace their broken luggage. No customer should have to continue to contact this much. I told them Every time that the warranty is good through 4/2/25 and I believe they ignored me to let it expire. I want a repacement set. I contacted ****** also and they said it has to be done through Olivet's warranty. I have pictures that I sent to the email as well. Every time. I purchased a ************* brand carry-on suitcase on sale at TJMaxx on 7/22/24, which has a 3-year warranty advertised in bold letters. One of the zippers fell off during its first use. Following the instructions on the warranty tag, I emailed Olivet International ******************************************* with pictures of my receipt and of the luggage along with other documentation, and waited. After a month, I re-sent my message. After two months, I called the Olivet International Service number (*************) from the warranty tag. The recorded message said they would get back to me in < 72 hours. They did not. Then I tried ******, but TJMaxx's warranty is only 60 days so they said they couldn't help me. Then I called Olivet again and left another message. No reply. Then I contacted Sharper Image. ************* was responsive, but said they only handle products bought from ****************, and that I have to contact the manufacturer (Olivet International). Then I called Olivet again. No response. Then I filed this complaint. I'd be happy with a repair, replacement, or reimbursement. I just don't want others to have this problem in the future.Business Response

I am filing this complaint against ******* **** and Olivet International regarding a defective suitcase and the complete lack of customer support in addressing my issue.Details of the Complaint: I purchased a ******* **** suitcase, and after just three months of use, the zipper broke. I contacted ******* **** customer service, but they stated that it was not their product and refused to assist me. I was then directed to Olivet International to seek support. I filled out their RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form and submitted it as instructed. After 10 days of no response, I followed up with six additional emails, all of which were ignored. After 15 days, I finally received a response stating that my suitcase replacement would be sent soon. It has now been 30 days since that response, and I have not received the replacement nor any further communication. My follow-up emails continue to be ignored.Desired Resolution: I request that Olivet International honor their warranty and provide a replacement suitcase immediately.Business Response

Made a warranty claim for replacement of a leather Kenneth Cole Reaction shoulder bag. Warranty claim was approved in late 2024, promising a replacement. When nothing arrived over a few months, I followed up several times via email and was told the replacement would arrive soon. A package arrived last week with an inadequate replacement bag. It is nylon (not leather) and half the capacity of my existing bag. I have sent emails and called the toll-free number and left messages. No response. I seek an exact replacement, repair of the existing bag, or some sort of compensation to purchase a new bag.Business Response

I have contacted the company as specified on their website to file a warranty claim for a suitcase that I purchased in April 2018 that is still under warranty. The wheels just fell apart while we were wheeling it at the airport. The company has failed to respond to any of my 3 voicemails nor to my website message. The suitcase is still under warranty and their website says to contact customer service by phone. When called there is simply a voicemail message asking me to leave a message, which I've done each time. It is unacceptable to have a company that supposedly provides a warranty for their product, then be completely ignored when trying to file a warranty claim.
