    If I can give this company zero stars, I would! Their customer support is a joke and nonexistent, and they will take your money while their products do not work. I am trying to find an installer that will come check an inverter that their company manufactures and no one locally to my area will touch it. They took $100 from me because their chat bot did not explain something correctly and when I request requested a refund, I have been ignored. I now have solar panels that I am paying for that Im not sure work. This company is horrific and I wish that I had never bought their product!

    If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. Terrible Customer Support. I would never recommend this company for any homeowner, business owner, or solar installer considering their product line. The hold times for any support is insanely long. They take FOREVER to even respond to any issues. I have sent multiple emails and comments to a specific CASE # and they have not replied to any of it. The homeowner we are trying to help is equally frustrated at their complete lack of response. I call the support number and get a voicemail and no one calls back. I go to their automated support via text chat and deal with an AI for 25 minutes then the customer support agent who finally joins asks for all the same information that I just typed out. They have continually dismissed homeowners issues stating their product is working normally when it clearly is not. This has to be one of the worst solar inverter companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

    Had Solar Edge inverters installed with my system in Oct 2022. What a mistake. The company says they should last about 12+ years. Its now Jul 2025 and have had to have the SE7600H / 740910E5-72 inverter replaced TWICE. While the company did supply the part, I'm out over $2,000 in lost production and installation fees. By my calculations, I'll spend another $40,000+ replacing them every 6 months to the end of the 20 year life cycle.

    Cannot log in to SolarEdge app/ or create and account for it on their website. Zero customer service. Theyre chat bot it no help. Their phone number is no help. No way to get in touch. Their inverters break. Poor business tactics. Of course if they reach out and help me, I would be happy to adjust my review. POOR business structure. Avoid at all costs.

    I recently had certified technicians from ********************************** (21 years in the business) assess my malfunctioning SolarEdge inverter and they determined it needed replacement. But then SolarEdge support stalled for nearly two hours, refusing the replacement and forcing another rooftop inspectionjust to prove what experienced techs had already confirmed. The visit ended late on a Friday; the crew returned to ********** without fixing anything. I now owe $280 for a fruitless service call and will need to pay again for two more appointments: one to get approval and order the part, and another just to install it. The techs say this routine bait-and-switch behavior is standard policy. This is not just a waste of timeits a breach of trust. SolarEdge must explain why they obstruct basic repairs and resolve this unprofessional conduct immediately.

    Waiting 2/12 months for replacement of bad inverter Cant get any response, no phone, online only but tells me approved, for 2 months but no inverter Do use this company

    I purchased my solar system four years ago and the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform provided an Admin Section where I could generate an API key to help me self monitor my system functionality. This admin section also allowed for other tasks. As of recently, SolarEdge has disabled the admin function for owners leaving me unable to track my system performance on a deeper level than the meager stats the platform provides. Apparently now I have to go back to my installer to get this information. I bought and paid for my system. It came with a function that has now been taken away. In my opinion, ********** reneged on their original contract and has diminished the value of the product which I've spent a significant amount of money on. SolarEdge Support takes forever to respond and when they do, they're useless. Their ************* work OK but I'd avoid them unless you enjoy being ripped off.

    I have just had my third inverter fail. They do send replacement inverters, but I still have to pay for the installation and startup of the new inverter which is very poor they don't cover this as well as these have such high failure rates or offer and alternate replacement option for the inverter that actually will last. Makes this entire system unreliable and very poor customer service. I would never spend anymore with this company!

    I have a Solar edge system with 30 panels. The inverter has failed twice and 4 of the optimizers have failed to date . The quality is very poor . My original installer no longer sells Solar Edge products

    My installer went out of business a couple of years ago, so no more MX warranty for me. I have an Optimizer out on my system that is causing a panel to under perform. The installers in my area informed me that they do not process warranty claims with Solaredge. So I would have to pay for the part that is under warranty! Solar edge will not send me the part so I can have them install it!!! Terrible customer service.

    Hi ****,thank you for taking the time to share your *********** seems as though there is a misunderstanding on your issue, our warranty is still valid despite your installer going out of business and we can ship replacements when appropriate regardless of who you may be working with.We do typically process the warranty claims with the contractors directly for informational and troubleshooting/technical purposes and also due to the fact that contractors may be eligible for labor compensation to assist system owners with the costs incurred.unfortunately a lot of contractors do not want to go through the warranty claim process since it may require some troubleshooting which is a standard for all manufacturers. if you require further investigation on this matter please feel free to email us at ******************************************
