I waited several weeks for the item I wanted to show as in stock. When I purchased, the item said "ships in 1 to 3 business days." Several days later the item changed to backordered. It has been more than a month and I still don't have my order, and I have not received an explanation. Just vague, impersonal "thank you for your patience" emails. I will probably request a refund. First and last time purchasing from 2Modern.2Modern.com Response

Do not trust this companies "ships in X to Y days" claim on their website. They say that even though they don't have them in stock and ready to ship, much like West Elm.I ordered from them specifically because they made this claim (even though they were more expensive) and have been waiting for over a month for them to source my order that was "ready to ship."Review from Jennifer M

Do yourself a favor and just buy direct from manufacturer instead of through this company that drop-ships.So that, should an item arrive defective, you won't have to go through **** and high water to get a return label from Support (that treats the customer like a number, not a person) and then wait weeks to receive a refund, only for it to be the wrong amount.Review from Ryan C

Do not buy. Some sort of fraud going on here. Everyone has the same experience - glossy photos, but then you order and the shipments take months, if they are shipped at all. The tracking number they give you is fake. The ********** shows up as a B12 vitamin lounge on ****** maps (lol). I suspect someone made a fancy website, but doesnt have any actual inventory / working capital and is trying to direct order everything from *****. Hence the deceptiveness around shipping, tracking and returns.2Modern.com Response

Wish I'd read this before ordering from the company. Worst customer service policies. Item arrived promptly but in a torn box. The item was fine but didn't work in my space so I decided to return it. I had to call twice and email repeatedly for a return authorization code. Then I had to spend $50 to ship the item back, because *** had to repack the item because the company's box was substandard. Eleven days after tracking showed the item was delivered, I called to inquire about my refund. Agent said she would refund it today. Seriously? You have to call to request the item after getting an authorization code to return it AND paying for the return. Too much time and $ wasted on a $220 lamp. There are lots of customer-friendly outlets out there. Never shopping here again.2Modern.com Response

After the busy holiday season, we receive an increase in return requests due to the volume of holiday orders and gift return requests. 2Modern returns do not all go to the same location, so we provide specific return instructions to ensure returns are checked in properly and we provide a return authorization number for that specific location. We received your return request and emailed return instructions a few business days after your call. We allow up to 2 weeks after a return has been received to process the refund back to the original payment method. I really wanted to give a 0/5 stars for 2modern. Where do I begin? I ordered a ************** table from here with an estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks. Once the order was placed, I got an email estimated 6 or more weeks. I didnt see the email until we got back from the holidays so I called to cancel and was informed that you cannot cancel a made to order item. The ** hides this information very well, the user has to scroll down to the very bottom of product information after selecting the finish. In addition, the website fails to warn the user that they 48 hours to cancel which conveniently happens after they email you about the delay in order. We couldve gotten this product a lot sooner, Im very disappointed and unhappy with not only the deceptive user interface but also the customer service. I was met with a very defensive representative who treated me as if I was the ignorant one!! With all the other reviews, Im now very uncertain Ill even receive the product at all! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!Review from Amy N.

TERRIBLE experience with this company! Ordered 3 side tables that were listed as in stock / shipping within **** days. Laughable. That was in October. The order was shipped at the end of December. We believed that was the worst part, we were wrong. The delivery company was even worse. The order didnt show up on the scheduled day. Then it didnt show up the next day.So we called the original merchant, 2Modern, hoping they could help us get the order we placed with them. Spoiler alert: they couldnt. In fact, the clueless customer service person asked US if we had the phone number of the delivery company. Yes, you read that correctly. The CUSTOMER SERVICE didnt know where the merchandise had been sent or who was delivering it. At that point we knew we would never be receiving our very expensive order and we filed a dispute with the credit card company. Be warned by our horrific experience.Review from Lisa o

Placed and order followed all shipping & return information located at the bottom of the order and for some reason those policies don't seem to apply to me because im trade? placed multiple orders this year. Will never order here again but go direct to the consumer because I wouldn't be facing these problems from the vendor direct.Horrible customer service. Horrible Trade program. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT. I placed an order and shipping was promised in 5 -10 business days. I received an email 2 days after I placed the order saying it was to be shipped in 25 days. I sent emails to customer service - no answer. I called several times and finally got someone on the phone who mentioned my products are back ordered until December. I called them out on fraudulent and misleading behavior and the customer service representative hung up on me. I called back and no answer. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN. Withholding people money and not being transparent is wrong and I'll make it my mission to SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN.2Modern.com Response
