On October 8, 2023. I purchased a 2021 Dodge Daytona from Razzari. The car was worthn$68,000 with $6,000 down payment and $12,000 lost for the payments lost while I had the car. In October 2024 my car was stolen. Contacted the dealership about the tracking device on car which I paid $600 extra on top of everything. They just said to contact the tracking company and never did or offered any help with this situation. when I contacted the company I was told the car tracker wasn't even activated. The car was never found and was ruled as a total lost by insurance. Now we have no car and no money to purchase a new car. The experience with this dealership was very bad!Initial Complaint

According to the contract signed with Ram on March 2022, the truck is covered by warranty for two years without any limitations on mileage. Although Razzari said they would fix my truck on March 2022 and convinced me that doing a rebuild with them would be beneficial due to the 2-year warranty, they came short on their promise. Only 46,142 miles have been driven on the recently refurbished transmission. Technically, I am bound by the warranty, but the dealer is ignoring this and attempting to use the total mileage against me even though that was not mentioned in the contract. Once again, only 46,142 miles have been driven since the transmission was rebuilt in March 2022. Therefore, their claims are illogical.
If mileage plays a factor in my vehicle's repair, then why did *** recommend I pay $809.22 in February 2022 at 198,294 miles and $6,653.71 in March 2022 at 198,331 miles for a transmission rebuild? Why was I recommended to do a transmission rebuild at 198,331 miles. If mileage was going to be a factor, why was it not mentioned on the contract we both agreed to and signed? *** said that when Ram performs the rebuild, I would have a two-year warranty. On December 5th, 2022, they informed me that the warranty did not want to replace my transmission because of mileage. In my opinion, ***** recommendation of a transmission rebuild at 193,331 miles for my truck was financially motivated, and is now attempting to rid himself of any accountability. He was more interested in his commission than he was in offering advice on how to address and fix the core issue of my truck.
**** is a State Farm adjuster. According to ****, neither ****** or ***** would return his calls. He was able to get in contact only with ***. *** suggested to **** that the "aftermarket third brake light" could be the source of the water entering the cab. After confirming that the third brake was factory installed, my adjuster quickly refuted this claim from the dealer. The truck does not have an aftermarket third brake light. This is an OEM product. Two backup cameras are installed on my truck: one on the third brake light and the other at the tailgate. I have the truck's window sticker, and it shows that the third brake light was installed at the factory. It's incredibly unprofessional for the dealership to blame other parts in an attempt to excuse themselves when they are clearly on the wrong.
***** has never called me or provided me with any updates regarding my trucks or the transmission replacement. In reality, I have a record of every call—incoming and outgoing—I have made in an effort to speak with someone other than the receptionists. My calls to ***** went unanswered, and ****** was out of the office for months. *** would frequently say, "I'll tell ******” or “I'll check with the warranty to see what's going on."
My truck is officially reported inoperative due to waiting for a solution. It was removed from the DMV because the dealership's negligence destroyed my truck. For months, mold grew throughout the entire cab. It is their responsibility to report to me with any changes to my truck. The water damage went unreported, and caused mold to grow. Mold takes weeks to develop the way it has on my truck, which only reassures me that my truck was neglected for weeks in their premises under their watch. The only reason I realized there was mold in my truck was because I needed to grab my toolbox from my truck, and I asked for the keys. That was on January 26. My truck has been in their care since December 2022.
Without my truck, my business is on hold. No rental company will allow us to rent a heavy-duty pickup truck. Much less in my city, therefore I made the investment to purchase a heavy-duty pickup truck. A dealership's service department is supposed to be the top service provider for automotive repairs. They completely destroyed my $65k vehicle, while costing me $1750 or more every week. The damages are vast, and my assets are ruined.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I don't feel safe in a molded vehicle. Two, I don't wish to do business with Razzari Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram anymore, it will only cause more delays.
I wish to be compensated for the value of my truck ($61,723.27). As well $1750 for each week lost due to it being in the shop, starting from December 5th to point of agreement as of now it is 11 weeks. the sooner we agree the less weeks are wasted.

warranty repairs have been approved by Chrysler, it appears the vehicle is leaking water due to past accidents and due to miles on vehicle unfortunately no warranty for water intrusion. when the transmission repairs are complete I will have my detail department completely steam clean and detail interior of vehicle. Customer would have to contact Chrysler to start lemon law buy back proceedings at ###-###-####, for vehicle repurchase.Customer Answer

Upon our last phone call (March 7th), ***** mentioned that he would get in communication with ****** to check on the Status on my truck. Still to this day (March 10), I have not received that phone call. ***** also asked me to take down the claims from the BBB and BAR, because he believes It is not Razzari’s fault, and it is hurting the reputation of Razzari Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. shared with me that he believes Ram is the responsible party for this issue as 4 other vehicles also got water damage under their watch, and they are also RAM vehicles. In my opinion, it is Razzari's responsibility, and they should take full accountability. I was very patient with ***** and the Razzari team to try and find a solution to fix my truck for many months, with no fair solution in sight. My truck has already failed three times within one year for the same reason, the transmission. Even with the 2-year warranty that they sold themselves to me for that transmission, they attempted to throw my truck under the bus due to mileage back in January 2023 (I have documentation available) in an attempt to deny a new transmission. It is ******* duty to report on any changes at any point to my vehicle in a reasonable amount of time. However, he never once reported water damage, which could have easily prevented mold growth in my vehicle. Not *****, not ******, not Wendy nor *** ever reported to me that water was coming inside the vehicle. Taking appropriate measures could have prevented mold from growing in the truck. However, no one was aware, and I knew no one was aware because it was not until I showed up to grab my tool box that I reported it to Wendy and ***. ****** was on leave, and there was never a reliable way to communicate with *****.I am not in favor of *****'s suggestion to remove the mold from my truck by simply steaming the cab. I'm not sure if ***** understands the severity of hazardous materials like mold. My partner holds a degree in Biology and understands the danger mold poses to our health, especially when there is as much mold as there is in the truck currently. The amount of mold in the truck had to take months to grow to the capacity it has, which further proves their neglect to my truck while under their “trusted and vigilant” care. Mold will continue to release spores in the air causing more mold to grow. These spores will stick to anything that has moisture. Unfortunately for us, our lungs are the perfect environment for mold to grow, which is why mold is not easily removable and highly toxic to humans. *****'s suggestion to steam clean the cab does not take into account that the dealership neglected the truck far too long that mold is in between the window seals, on the doors, in the vents, on every leather seat and all electronics. I do not think it is fair nor safe to put a person inside a contaminated vehicle. It is incredible that after 4 months trying to reach a common ground on what to do with my truck and minimize time lost, suddenly they were able to “find a solution.” However, all ****** would say to me during the waste of time they put me through was “*****, this will take some time, warranty declined the repair three times”( December 2022). If it was that easy to come up with a solution with the warranty, why did you all take this long? It is too late for that. Now my truck was ruined under your care due to neglect, I lost many months of precious time, and now you guys do not want to take accountability. This has gone too far, I do not want Razzari to replace the transmission or steam clean my truck. I want Razzari to pay for the value of my truck and my time lost. ***** suggested that I go after Ram because the other trucks that also got water damage in their lot were Ram vehicles as well. In my opinion, Razzari has a higher chance of going after Ram than the affected people, especially when all vehicles were under Razzari’s care during this time.Like I mentioned, the BAR already documented the situation, and I have the conversations we had through the BBB at hand. The Investigator also took photos of the truck and noted what he observed. I wish to proceed with what I am seeking. I'm sure by now Bertha Bejarano from BBB and ***** **** from Razzari clearly understand that I am seeking $61,723.27 for the value of the truck, and $1,750 per week until this case is closed starting from Dec 5th, 2022. Until we settle my request, I won't take down the claims or reviews posted.
