I booked a 1 bedroom condo for 01/12/24-01/15/24. We got to our room around ****pm and everything seemed fine. After eating dinner at the Mammoth Mountain Inn restaurant we came back to the room around ****pm and upon arrival my 6 year old already said he wont be able to sleep with that noise. The heater in the kind bedroom is so loud that it was impossible to sleep. I called the front desk to see if theres someone who could fix it but she explained that the maintenance people wont come in till 8am the next morning. After trying to turn it off (which would also be horrible in 20 degree weather), and investigating if there is any way to fix it or quiet it down, I discovered that there were loose cables underneath that were uncovered and exposed which is a major fire hazard. I decided at *****am to move my 6 year old to the other room onto the couch that we shared for the night next to my other kids bed just to get some sleep. I barely slept all night as the two of us barely fit on the couch together and we could even hear the heater in the other room. I paid USD $1,917.48 for three nights and one of the rooms of our 1 bedroom condo is not usable due to the noise.
