My boyfriend is a double amputation diabetic and had gotten COVID and ended up in the hospital in the ICU. But eventually was moved to M.R.N.C., but while in the hospital he had gotten a bed sore and had lost a major amount of weight. So I was hoping he would do better after he was moved. But that wasn't the case at all. His doctor returned only one call the whole time my boyfriend was in the facility. And I only saw him the one time after he was there at the facility along with a nurse after they just finished cleaning his bed sore. My boyfriend had called him an "a**hole" for hurting him so much. And he actually started to cry when saying that he wanted me to take him home. At first I thought he was just trying to make me feel sorry for him. But after walking the long hallways each time I went to visit I began to see why he wanted to go home. They were rude to the people there a lot of times. And didn't care for them properly. I asked for hand rails for my boyfriend's bed and I finally got upset about it and they got him some. He needed them to be able to turn himself so he didn't have to wait for a nurse to do it for him. They never let him out of his bed only when he went to dialysis. I finally had enough and went and told him if he wanted to leave there that I had came to take him home. After I got him in the car without any help from the nurses and took him home I had for the first time seen his bed sore. I was shocked to say the least. He was dying in there and that's how they look at those people that are there. That bed sore was a stage 4 bed sore and they didn't do anything for it but make it worse. I have pictures of it then and now. And there are people who will testify on his behalf concerning how he looked and acted while there at the M.R.N.C., and what he and his bed sore looks like now that he is home. Even the people at the dialysis center have said that unfortunately M.R.N.C., isn't a very good place.
