On October 26, 2021 I brought my Honda Rancher in because the engine was misfiring at high RPM's. An employee called and said the unit was ready. They indicated on both the receipt and the in person that the issue was related to bad gas and the unit was running fine! picked up the unit November 13, 2021 and paid $200. The engine of the quad was still misfiring at high RPM. I returned the unit shortly thereafter to ******'s Powersports and told them the problem did not appear to be resolved. The techs at ******'s seemed to be having great difficulty in diagnosing the issue. I called North American Honda to see if they could be of assistance. They agreed to help and attempted to offer technical help. I then received a call from ******;s Powersports around Christmas that the problem was a timing chain issue. They asked for authorization for $650-700 in repairs which I authorized. **** from ******s promised the unit that weekend. I did not hear from anyone and called back on or around January 20, 2022. I was then told that the camshaft was bad and I would need to authorize another $250. I authorized the repairs however **** from ******'s got very testy when I protested about the length of time and the fact that the unit had been in and out of the shop since late October of 2021. North American Honda was told that the unit would be completed by Friday January 21, 2022 but that date has also passed without the unit being completed. I would like to see the unit have its repairs completed as soon as possible as I have not been able to use the unit for some time. Thank you for your consideration.
