Business Name: Wisdom Scholastic Publishers LLC Email: ************************************************ Description of the Issue:On December 16, 2024, I received a termination notice from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) stating that my account was being closed due to alleged violations related to "intentionally misleading metadata" in one of my titles: iPhone 16 For ******************** As a result, my account under the business name Wisdom Scholastic Publishers LLC was terminated, all published titles were removed from sale, and I was denied access to my dashboard and any outstanding royalties.I believe this termination was made in error. I have submitted multiple appeals to Amazon KDP seeking clarification and reconsideration, but they have since stopped responding entirely. Meanwhile, other publishers with similar book titles and metadata remain active on the platform, raising concerns about the fairness and consistency of their enforcement.Given these circumstances, I respectfully request either the reinstatement of my KDP account or the release of my outstanding and withheld royalties. Here is a letter describing my complaint:Mr *****,I am writing you because Amazon/KDP has ***eatedly failed to deliver my book "Pensacola Days" ISBN ************* on time, or fails to deliver them. I have spent hours on the phone or chat lines with Amazon **** who either tell me there is a delay (no kidding?) or immediately offer me a refund. I even have copies of *** chats that have absolutely guaranteed the delivery of my book in 24 hours---two and three days in a row---and they were never delivered! At present Amazon has failed to deliver over 100 of my books. I have had to cancel the orders, wait for a refund then re-order all of them, over and over again. This continued cycle of delays, refunds and re-orders s simply unacceptable---it's been going on since February, 2025!I am an INDIE writer who relies on having books on hand for the many book signings that I have scheduled. Hello, my name is ********* ******* and I am requesting you to please assist me with a wrongful termination of my Amazon KDP account and get ********************** to rightfully reinstate my *** account ********* October last year I opened my KDP account and uploaded approximately 76 books. On 22 January this year I received a termination email from Amazon. I immediately responded and they told me that my account was in fact not terminated, but was still live and in good standing and on their system. After approx 5 weeks of back and forth emails, Sameer in their technical support team discovered an unusual technical glitch in my account.They suggested we open a second account to avoid any further technical glitches in my first problematic account, as they would then merge the two accounts and once all my books had been transferred to my new account, they would then deactivate the first problematic account, thus I would only have the one account. My books were not transferred and I had to re-upload them again when my account was reinstated on 26 March.All went well again on my new account until they again terminated my second account again on 12 June, due to me having "multiple accounts."I immediately responded and explained that I don't have multiple accounts, and that they had wrongfully terminated my first problematic account due to a technical glitch in their system and that my second account was initiated by them to avoid any further technical glitches. I sent them the screenshots of some emails showing the unusual technical glitch in my account and that they had decided to merge my second account with the old problematic account, transfer all my books to my new account, and then deactivate the old problematic account. It now seems evident that they had obviously not deactivated my first problematic account, just as they had also been able to transfer all my books either.That was the only reason why they would have wrongfully terminated my second account.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding Amazon KDP handling of a dispute related to the temporary removal of my independently published book (ASIN: B0DJGCZBQ8) from their platform.More than 1.5 months ago, Amazon removed my book due to a copyright claim filed by ****************** After receiving the claim, I took immediate steps to resolve the matter in good faith. I am ******** O. O. Okampa, an internationally published author and sole owner of several literary works distributed through Amazon KDP. On February 14, 2025, Amazon terminated my KDP account without due process, failed to provide a fair hearing, and froze access to my earnings. Despite providing a valid government-issued ID (Nigerian ***) in good faith, Amazon rejected it without offering alternatives or appeal options.They continue to withhold royalties earned from legitimate book sales without explanation. Attempts to communicate from my registered email ********************** have been stonewalled. One Amazon representative, ********, stated they cannot assist me further, nor forward or acknowledge my appeal. Date of Transaction: July 5th Money collected: $350 Offered Book Publishing Services. They said they were directly related to Amazon. They said my book would be on the first two pages of Amazon search results. The contract says Amazon **************, which is untrue.
