I placed an order for two different flower arrangements on Thursday, May 18th. both arrangements were to be delivered to two separate people residing in the same address on Friday, May 19. I paid for premium flowers as well as service to meet this delivery. I received confirmation via email however come the evening of Friday, May 19 the recipients never gave my husband and I a call to say thank you which seemed out of character so I called Teleflora and they informed me that the flowers were never even made but they were going to contact the floral shop. While waiting for them to make that phone call, they came back and confirmed that they would be delivered with guarantee on Saturday. 20 and they would provide a 30% refund off of each arrangement. Saturday comes yet again no confirmation of delivery or communication or acknowledgment from our recipients, I called Teleflora again. Only for the new representative to tell me that these flowers were never scheduled or fullfilled. There is no communication whatsoever for these three days.I requested a refund and the representative hung up on me. I called back and requested another refund. I started receiving small emails while I was on the phone with that representative. Of bizarre refund amounts, small money $19 $30 rather than a full amount I paid Im about $160. I told the representative I was not getting off the phone until I received the appropriate emails amounts and confirmation numbers. The financials are still not adding up. PayPal has confirmed a couple of the small refunds that I asked to be corrected but Im still significant fund short. I am convinced that this place is an utter scam trying to confuse people out of their money with no communication, lies about contacting florist, no transparent communication, hanging up phone calls, as well as weird refund amounts that do not add up. Im grossly concerned that these people have intentions that are poor and deliberate.Business Response

On May 15th at 4:32 pm CST I ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered to ********* Funeral Home for ***********************. It was order # ********* Pure Heart Item #T283-7A Total cost of $162.35 It was supposed to be delivered before 2 pm on 17 May for the viewing service. It never arrived. I called this morning they said that the flowers were enroute to the funeral home that was a outright lie, the flowers were not there. The customer service agent said " Oh, its just a viewing, it lasts a long time so it will be ok. " I could not believe that they said that. Just a viewing?? How unprofessional and rude can you be? They just told me the flowers were delivered and when I contacted the funeral home they advised me that the flowers were not delivered.Business Response

I ordered flowers for mothers day. The charged my **** card $208.00, I never received flowers. I have called every tel# I can find. No one knows what happened or who ordered flowers. I m still trying to get refund.Business Response

I have made an order weeks in advance and a customer service person called me 24 hours before my delivery saying that they are going to return my full refund because for some reason ********************* ran out of chocolate I think that is very bad business and I will never ever use this company again now I have no way of getting my mother-in-law anything for Mothers Day when Im working 10 hours away from home I just think its very ridiculous that a company can do such a thing with no concern or compensation, other than the refund 24 hours before deliveryBusiness Response

Teleflora processed my order but never delivered the arrangement on 5/6/2023 (GA). I paid for expedited shipping for a funeral spray and it never arrived. I never received any communication- no email or voicemail. They just took my money. I had to call them to find out what happened and to get a refund. No honest explanation. They did however ask if they could deliver it 2 days after delivery date (after I contacted them). No!!!! It was for a funeral, they know that, he's gone! My issue is this is potentially a business practice or scam because if you dont attend the funeral, how would you know if your arrangement didnt arrive? And usually, it's those that don't attend the funeral who send a wreath or spray. Its not like the deceased will tell you. That's $200-$400 they pocket without providing a service, with no notice to customers. This needs to be investigated.Business Response

Hello ****, I am sorry we were unable to get your standing spray arrangement delivered for you. We were unable to locate a shop in that delivery area that had the ability to fill a large spray on a Saturday due to commitments already made for other deliveries. The funds are only on a "pending" status until a shop actually starts working on the arrangement, and your order was placed on hold because we did not have a shop to fill it. If we had not gotten a response from you, then after 48 hours of no contact the system automatically cancels the order and drops the charge request, so your funds would not have been taken. We always offer to deliver to the home of a family member if a service is missed, making any changes necessary to the arrangement or delivery address, so they will know you were thinking about them. Placed order C#********* 5/5 through Website for Floral Delivery5/13. Four Days later received email that they would not be able to fill my order and issued a refund. 5/9 Called back Florist was not able to fill order for weekend but they assured me order could be delivered Friday 5/12. Placed new order # ********** . 5/13 I called Teleflora and they determined arrangement had not been sent and since we were now in the weekend it could not be delivered until next week! This is a service Business where delivery dates are very important. Had I known one or two days AFTER I placed the order, that they could not fulfill the order as they had assured me, promised and had me pay extra for, I could have made other plans for a timely delivery! The issue is not entirely $ but is also VERY, VERY bad ***************** They should know within a reasonable time... 1 at the most 2 days concerning their capabilities to fill order AND MOST IMPORTANTLY they should inform their consumers. I'm sorry your order was not delivered in the expected time frame. Orders were much higher than expected this year for Mother's Day. Shops all across the country were at capacity very quickly and were unable to replenish their stock fast enough to keep up with demand. I sincerely apologize that we were unable to meet our own high expectations of excellent customer service for you. I located both orders, and I can see that one was refunded in full back to your method of payment, allowing **** business days required by your financial institution for processing. I am rejecting this response because:The issue is not the Money... the issue is a broken contract! Money was given for Services requested and PROMISED on a certain date. Given your response, you should not have entered into this Verbal Contract OR PRIOR to agreed upon date of service, a notice should have been sent that services could not be rendered as agreed upon. Neither was done! Written notice of unfulfilled contract was not sent to me until one day late AFTER I called to inquire on delivery!
BBB needs to give you a "F" rating!

Re: Order #********* I am extremely disappointed that my Mothers Day order was not delivered. I relied on Teleflora and its partner florist to do their job and ensure a timely delivery. Although I was offered a refund, I would like adverse action to be taken against the partner florist. It is clear that this business shows little regard for its customers and blatantly fails to deliver time-sensitive orders.I would like to know what action is being taken against this florist.Business Response

on may 10th I ordered flowers for my anniversary for delivery on the 15th. order *********. On may 15th at about 3:15 PM I received a delivery confirmation while I was outside working in the yard that the order was hand delivered. Since no order was delivered I called teleflora and was told to disregard the delivery notice, and that the flowers would be delivered, and if they weren't by 7pm to call back. Then they hung up the phone in my face. I emailed customer service who gave conflicting information, Stating the the order was in fact delivered and was signed for by initials "NV" there is nobody in this household with these initials. I responded that they were not delivered only to receive the same exact message again. I third response reiterating that NO the order was not in fact delivered again received the same exact copy and paste response. I don't know who NV is, they don't live here. On April 14, 2023, I placed an order for a basket of fruit and goodies to be delivered to my in law who was in the hospital at the time. I used my Fingerhut account to pay for the arrangement since Teleflora is a partner associated with my account holder. The arrangement couldn't be delivered and I received a notice that I would be refunded in **** business days. I have been calling both Fingerhut and Teleflora and to this date, no refund has been received from Teleflora back to my Fingerhut account. I have been patient and am wondering if Teleflora is a scam. I don't really have any complaint against Fingerhut but feel that since I am a Fingerhut account customer, they should be more instrumental in making sure I am a satisfied customer! I am considering going to small claims court if nothing happens after this complaint!Business Response

I ordered a stand up spray with colorful flowers for a funeral - Order ********* on 4-14-23 to be delivered on 4-16-23 to the funeral home. I used the link on the funeral home's website. A small white vase with a few white flowers was delivered - along with a folded piece of paper with my sympathy message stuck in the flowers. I paid: Treasured ************** ******** T273-2A$1*****, Service Fee $19.99, *************** Fee $4.99, Taxes: $15.72, Total Order:$180.69.My order was changed from a spray to a vase without my permission. I was offered a $54.21 credit. I would never agree to order or pay ****** for a small vase and delivery to funeral (and was not given the option). No one contacted me to ask if it was ok to change it, no one contacted me to let me know it was changed, and if I had not saw it myself this company would have gained money by not providing what was ordered, but a product that costs much less. How many other people have been taken advantage of fulfilling an order with a much less priced product. I would agree to pay ***** ($100 credit) for the flowers, the original delivery charges and recalculated sales tax - the whole point is that it was a funeral and I ordered a spray. If a vase was the only option, I would not have ordered it to begin with and would have gotten my flowers elsewhere.Business Response
