    My fianc and I turned in an application for an apartment 3 days after it was listed on Zillow and paid $60 each for the background check and credit check just for them to not even bother reviewing our application, nor did they check our credit scores, they never answer my phone calls or respond to our emails, this company is awful and are going against the fair housing act, not even giving us a fair chance by reviewing our application and checking our credit score or background (we both have good credit scores and clean backgrounds) which is the whole point of paying for a application so they can check our backgrounds and credit score, but they did not bother and sent over an email stating we didnt not get the apartment, go figure because they never even reviewed our application from the get go which is so unfair to us, especially because we met all of the qualifications, and I have screenshots of my receipt, I have screenshots of my application still pending today because it was never reviewed, I have the denial E-Mail, and a photo of my *********** credit score page I that states I have not had any inquiries for my credit score in two years.

    I'm very angry right now because EGL properties has breached their contract agreement in numerous ways. I am at this current moment their client (landlord) so what I'm writing is true and accurate. EGL can reply to this if they want. I feel lied to and cheated. Summary-- --EGL agreed to pay for listing on Zillow and MLS but later deducted the expenses $80 without my knowledge. This was one main reason I sign up. --EGL didn't list on the MLS as promised, so I had to get an agent to list. --EGL charged an unknown video expense without my agreement $125. --EGL in-house contractors charge double to fix things $2150 (others $950). --EGL put no priority on clients and shown the property 1 time in 2 months. --EGL forgot to pay the HOA fee ending in a $37.50 late fees. EGL agreed to reimburse this one. --EGL didn't pay for other bills which was also late and I paid myself. --EGL tried to bill their management fee (total $250) even the property was not rented and even they say they will not charge any fee for 2 months if not rented within 21 days. It's now been empty for 70 days. EGL properties agreed to list my condo on zillow and mls at their company expense which is the main reason I signed up with them. After signing the agreement, they didn't list my property on either so I ended up having to get an agent to help me list it on the MLS. Then I had to keep reminding EGL to list my property on Zillow. Later I found out they deducted money out of my account to pay for Zillow and added some additional advertising expense $125. This is after they agreed on not charging me. I feel pretty cheated and ripped off. In addition, I needed some cleaning and fixing done which their partnering contractor gave an estimate of $2150. I checked with another company and they gave me a price of $970 which is more than half their price. I feel very ripped off by EGL properties and if they do not reimburse me back for the zillow cost and the video ad they claimed which I never agreed with and that they never asked me, I will take this to small claims and also open claims with as many agencies including the Better Business Bureau. Also, luckily I had an agent list the property on the MLS as this agent has more showings versus EGL which I think only had one showing since over 2 months. I signed up with EGL on April 1st (What a joke!). It's now June 9th, over 2 months and EGL only shown my place one time? Also while my place was empty, EGL tried to charge me a management fee. Oh also, I got a late fee of $37.50 because EGL didn't pay the HOA fee on time but EGL agreed to reimburse this back as this was clearly their forgetfulness. I also found the electric/water bill was late so I paid that myself. EGL has not paid any of my bills nor done anything. This was one of my worst choices and I really regret trying out EGL. It ended up really bad and if EGL reimburses me in full and clears this up, I will follow up with another review.
