I parked in this Parking structure for 3 hours. the posted amount is $15.00. there is no attendant on duty here. when we left the facility the amount charged was doubled to $30.00. I looked up the reviews on this place when i got home and it seems this is a ongoing issue with this place. this is a scam!Initial Complaint

This parking company takes your money and turns off your code and then basically refuses to reply to your emails when they do so. I think anyone looking at this would be best to avoid this company. I have been using their lot at 220 south spring for going on 3 months now, and I made the mistake of asking them to park it in the lot for longer than 72 hours. Which the manager of the lot 220 south spring, ******* told me would be fine.I first ran in to trouble the day before my trip, the 22nd of June my code was not working. It seemed the manager had turned it off a day before my trip. The next problem came that same day, when my code was not working the lady on the call box buzzed me out of the lot. When I came back in she told me to grab a ticket!? I already am paying the monthly fee so this makes zero sense. Next what happened was I emailed ******* as well as the employee ******* in order to get some clarification on the code and also why I had to grab a ticket. Neither of them responded to my multiple emails. ******* was sent one direct email and one I cced him on. ******* received two direct emails. When calling the customer service line the lady on the other end was absolutely no help. She told me she would write my information down and it was up to the management if they activate my code or not, but I have already paid my 165 dollars for this month!!!Currently my car is in the parking structure, unable to exit at will. The lady on the phone today told me to call them and see if they can or cannot let me out of the garage per her managers discretion???! I cant exit if they arent on the line after hours? That is me paying for basically only the lot whenever they decide to pick up the phone, the lot is advertised as 24/7 access.I fail to see how they cannot activate my code again for me. I simply need it activated for tomorrow when I get back from my trip and nobody is responding to me or being helpful whatsoever. Avoid this company if you can.Initial Complaint

I pay monthly ($200) for an assigned parking space at my residence - ******************************************** space #***; assigned to ***************************. This assigned parking space includes an ** Charging Station and I pay extra monthly for this added benefit. Seven weeks ago the ** Charging Station stopped working and I immediately escalated the issue to management. I have followed up weekly and they keep telling me they don't have an update and to "check back later". End of last week I contacted their corporate office and spoke to ************************* and was told, "We are not in charge of the charging stations. That something you would have to talk to the property manager about, sorry for the inconvenience". I shared with her that I already talked to the property manager and no resolution has been found. I've asked can they assign me a new parking space and they said all spaces in the garage are occupied by other tenants. I've asked if I can pay a reduced rate until this issue is resolved and they have failed to respond to that request. It has been an extreme inconvenience getting to and from work every day, as I have to leave home and find and pay for my car to be charged every single day, sometimes twice a day. I really need some assistance getting this resolved.Initial Complaint

Recently I went to a concert at ****************** in *********** and choose to park at a ************ lot which seemed conveniently located to the theater and well priced at an advertised price of $7. This parking lot was an automated parking lot with a machine to pay for tickets and no on-site attendant. However, I and a line of other concert goers soon found ourselves facing a problem when trying to use the self pay machine. The machine was reading all our credit cards as denied, I myself tried 3 of my own credit cards. The only other choice myself and the others in line who themselves seemed to have never parked at ************ was to use cash which the machine accepted. There was also a QR code option that myself and other patrons couldnt get to work. Therefore, unbeknownst to us we found ourselves entering $10 and $20 bills into this machine since none of ** had exact change. What me and many in the line of concert goers soon found out was the machine didnt dispense any change. So in my case the machine kept $13 of money I should have received back as change. This meant that myself and all the concert goers paying by cash all found ourselves overpaying by $3 or $13 and not receiving change. One of us eventually realized there was a sign on the machine that said the machine didnt dispense change and thats when myself and the small crowd realized that we had been seemingly ripped off. Myself and all the other, patrons focused our attention on the computer screen which had directions on how to pay for parking. The screen in question had details on how to enter our license plate and the fee, but no details about their policy of no change. We didnt realize this until we were forced to pay by cash and didnt receive change and looked the machine over. Ive attached my receipt showing I paid $20 when only $7 was due. I very much would like a refund especially as I feel the company deliberately set up their machine in such a way as to trick customers.Initial Complaint

I created an account withjoesautoparks.parkitmonthly.com to sign up for monthly parking and added my billing information to choose a garage and pay for monthly parking. Then, I called joes auto parks to figure out how to select a garage within my area. The website lists 24 hr parking is available at *************. However, when I called I was told there was no 24-hour parking available. After that, my account on their website said my status was pending. I thought this was odd and wanted to delete my account and information. However, There is no way to delete my card or my account on their website. I received an email today 02/05/23 saying that I was charged $130 for a parking lot I did not select. I called to speak with a manager, and was on hold multiple times, and was disconnected multiple times. When I was about a minute into the call with the manager, I was disconnected again. I called back multiple times, then the last customer service rep I spoke to told me no manager worked on the weekends. The level of unprofessionalism is absurd. I have not used their service and they charge my card without any authorization and are not able to fix the issue unless I speak with a manager.Initial Complaint

I have been complaining about the parking pay machine at N. Hollywood ************************* for over 6 weeks. Machine does not work. I called the number four times **************. They say that it will be fixed and has not. Their answer is use your cell phone, which I don't own, or go to another machine. They are located across the street and is an inconvenience for me. I have to leave to work early just for that. I don't understand why they don't fix the pay for parking machine. When I call it sounds like it is from home. They do not identify themselves, just hello. Not very professional. Please help resolve this problem. It has been almost two months. It had been raining very bad and I have to walk over to the bigger parking lot just to pay. The lot parking number is 203 N Hollywood Orange/Red line station. Help.Business Response

Customer has stated that for over 6 weeks our pay station machines at the North Hollywood location do not work. Since receiving the complaint, I have personally reached out to the customer regarding her complaint on several different occasions. I have left various messages trying to resolve any issue this customer was having at our onsite payment kiosks. All onsite payment kiosks have been verified to be working correctly, both on the back end of things, as well as onsite. Staff has verified all payment kiosks are accepting both cash and credit card, as well as tap and pay options, such as apple pay. Transactions are continuously coming through, specifically for that location, as it is one of our busiest locations, so we are able to resolve any issues in real time. At this time, we have determined there are no further issues and will await a response from the customer, should she still need assistance.
Thank you.
