    Predatory membership renewal process. I didnt even have an account set up with them. Spent nearly 30 mins in a chat with them; they couldnt even find my account initially yet they had still charged me *****. Went nearly 6 rounds requesting them to cancel while they kept offering to lower the membership fee by almost half. What a shady business, stay clear of them!

    This company practices deceptive business practices. I was signed up for recurring shipments without being notified. I was also signed up for a membership without any disclosure of the cost. I have canceled both the order and the membership. We'll see if I am actually refunded. Buyer beware. The company already has actions against them by the state of California for the deceptive practices stated above and are still utilizing these practices.

    I recently made a purchase order. They automatically put me in a membership for recurring orders. I never agreed to this or consented. They are now charging my credit card every few days. This should be illegal.

    i requested a refund on the yearly membership that automatically renewed as i was charged before my account expiration date hit so i thought i had more time to cancel. i did their chat on their website and was told since i hadn't used the membership i would be refunded. Since then they automatically sent another order (which has been "damaged" twice now by fed ex, i still haven't received anything over 2 weeks later) and now they tell me i can't be refunded because i already used the membership. they cancelled and refunded my last order that never showed up but they are still counting that order as me using the membership, even though that order was placed before my membership even renewed AND it never even got here after them sending it out twice. i have paid for an entire year and they won't even refund me partially.

    One of my wife's few very bad ideas. I did not find great value in the pricing or offering. I did not realize that simply by building a cart I was agreeing to purchase a shipment, but that one may be on me. Several dry good items arrived crumbled to the point of non-use. What really put me over the edge and has me here is that their account cancellation save attempts are borderline unethical. I was asked three or four times if their proposal was enough for me to stay, or if I would still like to cancel. Then they just kept throwing incentive offers at me without option. I will not believe that a large sized box and packing materials are a lower footprint than driving to my local grocery store. I find the whole operation questionable and some of their practices borderline unethical.

    Their prices are fine, it's not a crazy good deal. But there are some items I've only found through *******'s INCREDIBLE DIFFICULT TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP.I've tried several times only to find out, 2 years in a row, that it never cancelled. You have to cancel through their customer service. At least this year I didn't have to talk to a live person? I guess that's better? Just tell the stupid chat bot that I want to end it and I do not want to continue it at a cheaper price. Side note- if you do want a cheaper membership, just do that until the bot offers it to you for $15 for the year. It's such a scam.

    I never really used it so I tried to cancel. The process was ridiculous. I had to say that I wanted to cancel 8 TIMES before it was actually cancelled. I was indifferent to Thrive until this. Now I definitely DO NOT recommend.

    Thrive Market is unmatched in incompetence and untruthfulness. I cannot overstate the number of times I was lied to by their customer service team. I purchased a ********************** membership to get access to specific products which they "can't ship" during the summer, unbeknownst to anyone, as that information isn't disclosed anywhere. They simply label the product on their website "too hot to ship." As someone who lives in the South, that means it will be "too hot to ship" for half the year. Not to mention the fact they lie and say these products "ship with a cold pack." They don't. If they shipped with a cold pack, wouldn't you be able to ship during the summer? Lie count: 2.Then, when trying to get answers from their customer service team, I have been repeatedly given the run-around. That is, when I'm able to get through to the number at all. I am told I will get a call back "within 24 hours," a call that never comes. No matter how many times I ask them to escalate, to transfer the call to someone who can answer my questions, I am ignored. What kind of customer service team can't transfer calls? Absolutely abysmal customer service, a team that simply lies again and again, refusing to be of any help. Lie count: Infinity.Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed and just wanting to get a refund for the half of the year that I'm unable to use Thrive to get the products I actually want. Alas, cancelling and getting a refund is impossible without helpful customer service! How convenient for **********************, who is simply interested in taking my money without providing the promised products. Don't waste your time and money on this membership. You won't get the value out of it, I promise.

    If I could give zero stars I would. What a scam. I explicitly asked them to cancel auto ship orders because I was receiving items I didnt order, want or need. They said they would turn off auto ship and reduce my subscription price. Neither happened! Was just charged almost $100 for ridiculous items. 3 of the same type of electrolyte powder packets in the same order? I dont think so. Of course you cant talk to a real person or ever get your order canceled or refunded. It hasnt even shipped yet cant be canceled. I can see why they were sued by the state of CA.

    What a hoax!In 2022 I bought a bottle of magnesium online, apparently I got added to their member list for $59.99. a year Just realized on my ****** that Ive been regularly charged every year diligently for a membership I never asked for, for the amount of $59.99 All because of one stupid bottle of magnesium,They are graciously allowing me this years $59.99 back, but Im not happy. I got tricked into this in the first place.
