Business Name:Felix Chevrolet ************************************************* Date of Incident:May 12, 2025 Complaint Summary:On May 12, 2025, I contacted Felix Chevrolet to purchase a used vehicle for my daughter, which was advertised online for $9,994.I spoke with *****, a sales manager, who confirmed the total price would be $9,994 plus $84 in standard fees. I received a virtual walkaround of the car and there was no mention of dealer installed extras. Everything was clearly agreed upon.Later, I spoke with another manager, *****, to try and negotiate the price. He said the agreed upon price was firm because the dealership was already waiving $3,000 in dealer-installed extras (including door guards, decals, and anti-theft stickers). I accepted that explanation and was ready to proceed. However, just before the paperwork was finalized, ***** reversed course and said the $3,000 in extras would be added back. This changed the total cost significantly and put the car out of my daughters price range after she had already emotionally invested in the purchase. This was textbook bait-and-switch, with sandbagged fees dropped in at the last minute. I was misled by both managers, and the dealerships behavior was manipulative, misleading, and completely unprofessional.Desired Outcome:Accountability for false and misleading pricing Enforcement of transparent advertising, and ability to purchase vehicle for advertised price Review and correction of dealership sales procedures

They have a price listed and then fees that are not listed until the where they try and charge you an extra $4,000 dollars for a sticker wax job and tracker which an Apple air tag works better. These were not even done to the vehicle. And not optional. But also not listed anywhere. They are using the $4,000 incentive like its already going to be given to them. They claim they are loosing money when the cars were clearly bought between 7 and 10k. Claiming they paid ***** for the car.

They charged me $43,000 for a $23,000 2024 ***** Trax. They sent two different contracts after delivering my car. They did not answer my questions. They did not abide by my requests to stick to my budget or not to put any add-ons on the vehicle. They have not responded to my certified letters asking them to fix the deal. They put me with a lender that they chose even after I had a pre-qualification for the exact model car with my own lender. They did not provide me with my credit report that they used (which I thought was required by law). They took advantage of me as a disabled, older man who was excited to be able to buy my very first brand new car. I put $10,000 down through my Social Security lump sum and now am stuck in payments so high that the interest is much higher than the principal. They made my loan term 71 months when the pre-qualification I had was 48 months. The car arrived with a deep scratch and they did send touch-up paint but I feel they should have fixed it professionally...I am afraid to use it since I might make it look worse. I requested the lender they stuck me with to do a fraud investigation but they sided with the dealership. Both the dealership and the lender are saying it's too bad you signed the contract. The contract was sent twice, was so tiny, had two different lenders and in the end, I was WAY TOO TRUSTING that these people were listening to my needs and requests and were actually being true and honest about my needs as a consumer. They had me send my down payment to ****** Chevrolet (?). The finance people did not answer my questions. I felt obligated to sign the digital papers with tiny print they sent because they had delivered the car to me already a couple of days before they sent the confusing double contracts. They were very angry when I called the sales manager on the phone. I have the 50 or so texts showing proof but file size too big for here. They were in one certified letter as well.

On April 29th 2024 | took my car to Felix Chevrolet ************************************************ to get serviced (see receipt). On May 17th 2024 | picked up my car with the dealership stating everything was fixed (see receipt).June 11th (not even 3 weeks) the car started running hot, shaking and just shut off on me (yes it was gas) and the oil life at 0 percent. I called Felix and spoke with *****. He said to bring it in and speak with ********* (service assistant that assisted me). ********* reached out and instantly kept stating he doubt the previous work have anything to do with the current issues. I tried sending him the pictures to show him proof but I realized he ended up blocking me. June 12th I called and spoke with *****. I asked him to email me my receipts (he never did) and told him I would like for a manager to call me back I don't want to deal with ********* anymore. ********* end up calling and saying the same thing "he doubt it's their work" instead of checking it even when my car was in his presents. I'm still without a car after being ****** charged $4.199 97. I would like confirmed legit repairs and half refund or full refund for all parts and labor with the exception of my mirror.

My car was having some issues, where as while im running the vehicle, the car would rev on its own and go on limp mode. I had a check engine light on and a bunch of error code messages. I took it to Felix Chevrolet to diagnose the problem. They stated they believed that the reason my car was doing that was due to having a bad battery. They said they checked that my battery was bad and said the reason why its because I had a dash cam and a anti theft GPS (this part came when first purchasing the vehicle installed) Therefore they said that the warranty was voided due to these aftermarket parts. I disagreed, but I went and paid for the battery. After they installed the battery they returned the vehicle back to me. By this time, all my electronics had been unplugged. However while driving back home, i noticed my battery voltage was low. I called to ask why this was occurring and they reassured me it was normal. I had a bad feeling so i insisted to please take a look at my car once more. After furhter inspecting they realized the car had a bad alternator. I want my money back i had paid for the battery. They never ruled out the alternator when they first inspected the vehicle and just blamed on other things. My battery was bad due to a bad alternator. And my dashcam does not drain enough voltage to kill the battery either. The alternator was approved to be under warranty. Therefore I should get my refund for them not ruling the alternator for the reason why i had a bad battery.

This is what I wrote the business:I am writing to formally file a complaint against Felix Chevrolet regarding a recent transaction that has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about my consumer rights. The details of the transaction are as follows: 1. On September 15, 2023, I entered into a lease agreement with Felix Chevrolet to purchase a vehicle, providing a down payment of $15,000. 2. On approximately September 18, 2023, I was contacted by the dealership and requested to return the vehicle to sign a rescission contract with the promise of a full refund. 3. I willingly returned the vehicle and signed the rescission contract as instructed by the dealership on September 22, 2023, with the expectation of a full refund of my $15,000 down payment. 4. However, upon receiving a refund check from Felix Chevrolet, I discovered that the check bounced or could not be cashed, leaving me without the promised refund. 5. It has now been a month since the signing of the rescission contract, and the dealership retains possession of the vehicle AND my $15,000 down payment. I have already filed complaints (see attached) with the Better Business Bureau, the ************************************** and the ************************* and I am seeking a resolution to this matter in a timely and fair manner. I am deeply concerned about potential violations of applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to the following:(I inserted a plethora of laws)I kindly request that Felix Chevrolet take immediate action to rectify this situation, which includes providing a valid refund, as stipulated in the rescission contract already executred, within 10 calendar days. Failure to do so may necessitate further legal action. I am eager to resolve this matter amicably, and I request that you respond to this complaint within 10 calendar days with your proposed solution.

I've purchased a vehicle from this dealership and with the purchase I added some extended warranty, gap insurance and maintenance, after a few months I decided to cancel all of it and I did it at the dealership, they said I will get a refund after I finish paying the vehicle, I did finish and now they don't want to refund me , they say the dealership is now under new management and they supplied a email address for the previous owner , until now nobody responds to phone calls or emails, Felix Chevrolet doesn't want to be responsible even when I claim that I've purchased the vehicle from them , business is still the same name and address .
