Buyer beware. The company promises to email you pricing for healthinsurance options and asked for your email address and phone number. They never provide the pricing, they simply call you relentlessly. After submitting the form, we have received 100s of phone calls over the last three days from 100s of different phone numbers (so you are unable to block them). Submitting the form was a horrible mistake.

This business' website came up first when I googled the Covered CA phone number. My bad for not noticing that it was NOT covered CA that I was calling. I was told by the agent that I was speaking with that my income disqualified me from any kind of assistance, and tried to sell me a plan that cost twice as much as the one that I eventually purchased from the actual covered CA.

SCAM!! ****** has this as the top site when you search for the Mass Health Connecter. I made the mistake of not reading the website carefully enough and entered contact info. They will not stop calling!! Absolutely a SCAM.

We have put in a do no contact request for this user. She should have received confirmation this morning. For future reference, making the request directly of us will always be more efficient. You can use our Privacy Center (https://mediaalpha.com/privacy-center/), or email ***@mediaalpha.com.

Horrible.... Just looking to get started with health insurance and information is immediately released and health insurance agents blow up your phone all week. Called to get my name off whatever list is in their system and agent transferred me without warning to a dead phone line.

Scam!!! Entered info and now my phone will not stop ringing. Incoming numbers are not legitimate. They all have my hometown area code and cannot be traced back to the original callers. When you request to be removed from a call list they hang up.

After user submitted her contact information and agreed to be contacted, we received a Do Not Contact Request on 11/16 and processed within 24 hours, including notification of advertisers.

While we understand the user's frustration, there has to be some time allotted to process these requests.

DO NOT BITE!! great sales guy. very convincing. said it was an Aetna PPO. said it was ************* compliant (more stringent than federal). said it had low copays... All documentation, however, said it did not satisfy Mass MCC standards and repeated phone calls with very nice folks never produced necessary documentation. Then, after a yearly physical, was told by my MD office that they did not accept the plan even though they were "in network" Apparently I this medical insurance is a "limited" plan. I insisted it was a PPO... Their pharmacy plan also sounds great until you fill a prescription and find out its also a "limited" plan. It would've been cheaper to fill my Rx at an online pharmacy at their full price. There are no less than 5 different components to their insurance which they claim will cover you. Thank God I didn't have any big medical needs before figuring this out. It's complicated and didn't cover what the sales guy said it would. AND no one could produce documentation that it's ************* compliant, despite their verbal assurances trying to debunk my paperwork in hand. Pay a few bucks more for a real insurance. I learned the hard way.

Please note that MediaAlpha is an advertising exchange, and does not currently have a call center or representatives selling insurance, nor does MediaAlpha provide insurance policies of any kind.

If Mr. Halvorsen is interested, he can contact us as ****@mediaalpha.com and provide his phone number privately so that we can determine if he called in and what advertiser he was connected with. He can then address this issue with them directly, if he wishes.

Interesting response. Evidence points to it being a LIE. For anyone interested, search www.masshealthplans.com. You will see it IS selling health insurance. You will also see the contact IS ****@mediaalpha.com. This further supports my claim that this whole thing is a scam with many different companies. This makes it easy for MediaAlpha along with the half dozen other companies involved in this "health insurance" scam to point a figure at one of the other entities claiming no personal accountability. This, of course leaves the consumer with no answers. If MediaAlpha is not directly involved in the sale of the insurance, they are certainly guilty of VERY CLOSE association, and hence guilt, with the scammers. Since I can't upload a screen described above, I suggest checking it for yourself.
No, I do not wish to call and hear more velvety talk from a part of this scam. The evidence speaks for itself
