    Complainant continues to pursue this meritless complaint even though we have explained the situation several times.  He alleges we lost documents and a flash drive that he sent to us.  First of all, we always advise people to not send original or irreplaceable items.  Second, and most importantly,  we never received the flash drive.  We log in all documents upon receipt as a matter of custom.   We did an exhaustive search upon his request and confirmed it was not in our possession.   While we fully belive he sent it in, and sympathize with his situation, complainant is having difficulty understanding that we are not at fault and unfortunately cannot solve his issue.

    I have an on-going issue (Intake No. CA1-YT68-PXS), for which I first contacted Parker Stanbury on June 13 as part of my Legal Shield benefits, of which I've been a member for over 12 years! My issue hasn't been resolved since, they bumped me from lawyer to lawyer because of the "conflict of interest", finally referring me to an attorney in Riverside, who was not competent to consult me regarding my property in **********! When, following his advice, I contacted my HOA with his proposed resolution, they told me they have never heard of such a thing. All I originally needed and still need is a letter from the attorney! I sent many emails requesting that letter to Parker Stanbury, as well as numerous attorneys to whom they referred me, explaining my situation to each, but to no avail! I feel that in addition to my legal battle, I'm battling Parker Stanbury to get their work done right and in a timely manner. AND some of their staff were extremely rude along the way too!It's been FOUR FULL business days (six days total) since I last sent them the email requesting resolution, and while they claim their turn-around time is 72 hours, I'm yet to hear from them!My issue is time sensitive, and the fact that it'll soon be THREE MONTHS since I've first requested their assistance isn't making any sense, as writing a letter shouldn't be THAT difficult and take THAT long!I'm seeking immediate resolution.

    Complainant is a member in a pre-paid legal program.  Because her issue presented a Conflict of Interest with our firm, we were obligated by State Bar ethics rules to refer her outside our firm for assistance,  She is still *********** the same benefits as if our firm was handling, but because of the Conflict, we are not allowed to know details of her legal issue.  We have made referrals at no cost to Complainant, and she has been dissatisfied with these attorneys.  Because of the ongoing COI, we cannot ascertain whether complainant's complaints have have merit or justification.  Regardless, we are always wanting to resolve any issue to the extent possible,  We will reach out to complainant to provide additional assistance

    Parker Stanbury was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was subscribed to Parker Stanbury through Legal Shield for two years. I'm college educated and a very succinct and even eloquent speaker. I always knew that I had 10 minutes per session and I never expected to only hear legal advice I agreed with.

    But there were at least half a dozen times I was literally YELLED at to be forced to stop talking because the lawyer did not want to hear me literally finish formulating my question a few minutes in. They HATE clients with questions, the HATE "what ifs" and they HATE it if you're talking about the same situation for more than a few minutes. They act like you're stupid and wasting their time the second you pick up the phone; paying THEM for their time. Even when you made it clear that stakes were high and you literally had a loved ones life on the line in the ICU--their attitudes would never budge. I became so shaken by my calls with them, months would go by and I would find myself avoiding using the service because it became a source of trauma. It's inhuman, it's horrid and they don't deserve a SHREAD of business.

    At the outset, please know that we are constrained by the attorney/client privilege in revealing details about the advice Complainant was seeking.  What we can say is that Complainant had difficulty accepting and understanding the legal advice that was provided to her on various issues.  Even in her complaint, she alleges that she did nit expect to just get advice she wanted to hear, but our service is intended to provide our best legal opinions, not to debate with Complainant on the multiple issues where she is dissatisfied with the advice provided.  Additionally, her common response was then to label the attorneys as "rude," "arrogant" or "talking over her."  None of these complaints have any validity.  All advice was provided within normal standards of consultation.  Complainant apparently feels that opposition to her legal position was somehow intended as a personal attack--it was not.

    I have paid for services and this firm will wait until a week in a half just before I have to start paying for my services again for my monthly fee and I have had no help on proper forms or things I would have to input for services be delayed because of no counseling or advice for what I paid for until it's to late like today I called in at 8 am and around 4 in the afternoon called back because I was told I would get helped and they would expedite the message as an emergency but no one's called and it's even 4:43 pm at this time. No help very misleading.
