My washing machine broke July 15th and I've had two guys come out to try to fix it one of them never came back the other one had never said anything and now the now the washing machine still doesn't work and it's been almost a month I need some help with itBusiness Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr. ******** complaint. The washing machine mentioned in this complaint is currently under the coverage of the warranty provider, BWG; The technicians that visited Mr. ******** home were dispatched by them, and it is with their customer service line with which he has been following up on his claim. After reviewing with BWG, we have been advised that the spare parts necessary to repair the unit have been already ordered earlier this month, and they are currently awaiting for them to start servicing Mr. ******** washing machine. BWG is a third party company and Curacao is not part of the process followed when handling these claims. I purchased an Apple 9th generation IPad for my daughter for Christmas on 12/18/2022 along with a laptop and a 2yr warranty total $995.21 It is all paid off. In January 2024 the IPad stopped working (wouldnt power on anymore) I took it to Curacao and they said I had to call the warranty #. I came home and called and they stated iPad was not showing on their part of the screen and that needed to be corrected in order to do replacement. I then went to store again and they got on phone with them and we got no where. I was told I would get a call back and not to worry. It is now July 2024 and have been to store multiple times, spoke to different people at warranty place as well , I have emailed everyone back and forth and still nobody has token care of this and my daughter left without her IPad. Nobody responds back from anywhere. Please help!Business Response

There was indeed a minor error in the way the warranty was registered and a correction was necessary before any assistance could be provided. We have been informed by the warranty provider, BWG, that this amendment was done on 06/28/2024 and that **************** can communicate with their customer service line at ************ to follow up with his claim. We apologize with **************** if this information had not been provided before by the personnel at the store, we will review this feedback with management to ensure an improvement in the assistance provided to customers in these scenarios. We would like to remind **************** as well that BWG is a third party company and Curacao has no role in the approval or handling of these claims. I contacted the warranty people and was again told an email or response by email would be sent and still have received nothing. We are back and forth for months now and nothing is being done! Warranty is running out and my daughter has yet to be able to use her Christmas gift.

We reiterate, we are not part of the process that the warranty provider, BWG, follows when addressing these claims, ************** needs to enter in contact with BWG and address his concerns with them. The Credit Card Terms and Conditions are also posted on our website, and are available upon request in any of our stores. Moreover, Curacao is an original creditor and not a debt collector within the meaning of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I acquired some furniture in this Curacao store through a purchase credit line, I acquired the furniture in September2023 according to the store's offer and I have a photo of this offer along with the furniture, I would receive a ** as a gift, after having After2 weeks of non-compliance with the delivery, I had to go to the store for the *** and then in 2weeks they took me thefurniture these furniture came out defective and broke quickly in December, which I reported to the Curacao store through the warranty department, to my surprise the warranty department informed me that I should return the furniture and also the ** that supposedly came as a gift, and that they would approve a new line of credit just for the furniture but that I should return the ** I felt deceived and defrauded, since then she has become a real torture, for this reason I informed the Curacao company that until they solved the issue of my furniture and they left me my ** as a gift because it was a gift, I have become a victim of countless daily calls, I have even received the worst treatment that has been given to any person and client, I have been left with a customer service personnel named *****, an incident that happened on February 1, 2024 where I even received a threat that the police would call, because it was so much The representative of Curacao interjected that I asked him to please go in my car with my daughter, and to please stop demanding payment from me who was very upset with the issue of the Curacao scam because they wanted to take away my ** and threatened to call the police because according to him I was talking on the phone while driving, well that was not the case because the one driving was my husband we were in the ******* store and he insisted on continuing with his payment claim I immediately called and asked to speak with a supervisor. I bought a refrigerator 3 years ago I purchased a warranty plan and my refrigerator has stopped working for almost 3 weeks. Ive called the warranty department they sent a technician to find out the problem and they approved the transaction however no one has come and no one has contacted me to schedule an appointment to come fix it. I have three kids at home and I've been having all my food in coolers buying ice daily. I've spent alot of money on food and I've had to throw it away because it goes bad. Everytime I call them they tell me a supervisor will return my call Ive spoken to numerous employees and NEVER received a call back. I dont know what else to do. Can you help me? I purchased a pair of Apple Airpods 3rd generation on 9/9/22 with the 2 year warranty. The air pods got Damaged when my daughter tripped and fell and our dog got it and chewed on it causing the damage on 1 of the Airpods on 2/10/24. I then went to the Curacao to see if they were still under warranty and they were. I explained to the Sales guy ***** the same person who help me with my purchase. " He told me even if your dog chewed them up and passed them as long as you recovered them that the warranty would replace them. So I called the warranty protection sold thru my by the Curacao. I explained to them what happened as I described above on 2/14/24 and the claim was denied due to what he called negligence. He asked in I didn't read the pamphlet with what it covers and doesn't cover. I explained that the Curacado never gave that pamphlet..I explained to him that my sales gut ***** told me that they would be covered with no problem. I think as a consumer that it is not Fair that they are selling protection plans without supplying all documents on what's covered and that the sales people are selling insurance coverage on in accurate information. They have a iPad on display that they say was ran over by a pallet jack in the store when it was left on the floor and that the insurance replaced with no problem.
