    I think Westlake have a payment processing issue and bad accounting. Every month I pay Westlake for car payments on time and using the same debit card, I get a confirmation email, I see the money coming out of my bank "pending", I think all is fine and done for the month next thing I know I get an email saying I owe 2 months car payments and late fees within the same month.

    I'm a Byte ******* customer, and apparently Byte recently moved my account to ******************** who have, hands down, the most unprofessional and rude customer support. ********************'s website never lets me log in, repeatedly locks me out of my account. My card on file for auto payments can't be removed. At one point I was able to add a backup card. I assumed that the auto payment would go through if not with the old card, then the backup (which I later mentioned to their rep, who laughed and said 'that's not how it works'). Of course my payment didn't go through in September, though I was never notified of this. I just happened to call and they told me it was late. Saying it was "my responsibility to log in and make the payment" (Okay, except that I CAN'T log in AND I have had auto payments set up for over a year now!). Westlake's customer support is a joke! The first guy sent me a pw reset link, then kept telling me to edit the card number and also try removing/adding auto payments -- all of this didn't work to fix the card issue, the old card continues to show. He finally says to me 'I shouldn't even be doing this. This isn't my job. We just provide the info to the customer and if it doesn't work that's on them'. WHAT?! I couldn't believe he said that. Essentially saying it's my problem that their website doesn't work. So I ask to speak with his supervisor, he places me on hold and hangs up. Big surprise. I call back, get some other idiot on the line, same thing. Same attitude. Same "you deal with it" answer to everything. Unbelievable. When I finally did get a supervisor on the phone she claims to have 'escalated' a report detailing my experience to some department. Do I believe that? No. Today, I can't log in to my account (AGAIN) so I call back, get the SAME idiot on the phone. We eventually get into an argument because he can't allow me 10 sec to try logging in on their app. Literally him yelling 'i can't just sit here and wait for you'. Unbelievable.

    If I could rate this a -0 I would. This place is ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!! I am trying to get my name changed, I sent over my marriage certificate (as they requested) and I call to to check on this and keep getting told " I SEE YOUR MARRIAGE CERT I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT RIGHT AWAY" A month later still not changed. I moved and the *** sent a fax to get the title sent to *** so I can get tags for my car. Keep getting the run around. I told the supervisor I want to speak to the manager she said "we have no manager her" BS there is always a manager. THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! They should be put out of business.

    S**** up place. My first payment was 10 day late. West lake turned it over to dealer compliance. For 2 months never got a bill. But yet they kept taking my payment every month. I got a different story every time I would call. Last time I talked to them on X-XX-XX my account was active but it was in dealer compliance and I still have to make payments. I was also told I would get my money back when dealer bought it back then I was told it would go to the dealership. I can't get my tags from the dealership and he's had them since July 2022. Something is wrong with this whole situation.

    Wow I'm amazed the number of complaints here, even my own problem had already been complained about. I paid off my car in July its days till Sept, still no title. Calling them is a BIG HEADACHE!!! The worst phone skills, they punish u by putting u on xtended holds, bad information, diff person diff answer to same question. Their incompetence is astounding. I live in MD titles are handled differently, Bottom line I paid all monies timely & I'm vollleyballed between Motor Vehicle & Westlake just to get my title. To date I still have no title & I'm not certain what to do next, I can't even trade or sell my care w/no title. Westlake Financial wasn't a company I chose, I leased over 15yrs & finally bought a car & the dealership financed time thru Westlake. I kinda forget how to buy a car. This has been the worst car experience. WARNING TO ALL... DO NOT USE WESTLAKE FINANCIAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, unless u want chaos, misinformation, poor customer relations & disappointment.

    I had my final payment scheduled for August 26 and they repoed my truck on the 24. So my final payment of 928 turned into 1469.00 , then on the 26 I was told I owed another 45.00, then on the 27 I had to pay another 230.00. Is there a class action lawsuit on this establishment yet? If so how do I get inn on it. Worst financial experience of my life!!!!!

    Westlake financial is a company designed to steal and cheat customers out of money owed to them with accumulated late charge fees and other fees. Making your payment history look poor at the credit bureaus. When making advanced payment to cover late charges or other fees, they apply the excess amount to your principal balance causing late fee and other fee amount to accumulate. I'm tired of this company doing what they want to do with my payments. Choosing how and what is paid on time by their choice.

    Westlake financial is a joke. I bought my car from a company they work with a few months ago. When I was purchasing the car I asked about principle payments because I knew I had some money coming in and was hoping to make an extra payment towards the principle only. U was told that I could just need to call in to make a principle payment anytime after my car payment was made. I got my taxes and was so excited to call in and make this bigger payment towards the principle. Westlake told me I can't make a principle payment and that my interest is charged daily. I explained that on the initial call recording the lady said I could do the payment towards just the principle and that this is not what I was told. They refused to do anything to assist me. The supervisors literally talked to me like I was stupid saying you signed the loan and yes I did but I also asked questions and was assured certain things would happen. I could have just kept looking for a car and used my original finance company. I only went with Westlake because I truly wanted my Camaro and they had the exact car. What kind of company won't take money and do what they said they would initially.

    I decided to eat it because I wanted to pay my car down regardless. I went online to may the payment and the website said it couldn't process payments that were over and under between 10.00 and 4506.20. I called back and was told that it was my bank but I never got far enough to process the payment and I know my bank has the funds.

    On top of all of this the amount of marketing and sales calls I have gotten since purchasing this car is ridiculous. I ask to be removed from lists and they never stop calling. They are very aggressive saying I have to get more warranty or GPS. I feel bad for any customers that didn't realize they were lying and trying to be deceptive. No loan company can force you to purchase more stuff after you have already signed paperwork. They are just super aggressive lying sales people.
