I received the same absolutely horrible service. After many calls to customer ********************** and with being transparent with communication with the company on making a payment. Given there is suppose to be a grace ****** by 1 day. They still repo the vehicle and still continue to call, send emails for a monthly payment. A customer ********************** representative told me they would not stop calling. Horrible horrible service. ****Don't do business with this company *****

I refinanced my new car with this company August 2023 and it didnt end well. I believe I was scammed. When Westlake Financial sent the payout check to a ****** they put the incorrect payee name on the check. ***** had to send the check back to Westlake Financial and it took 2 months or so for Westlake to resend a corrected check back to *****. I had been reach calling and emailing Westlake Financial several times and they would not answer emails or messages. I finally received one short email that they were working on the pay out check. Meanwhile, my account was in ***** and I had to still pay *****. I called Westlake Financial customer ********************** to pay car note with them and was told I only needed to pay $ 25 dollars. I told the gentleman that cant be right. I kept trying to reach one of the men that does the refinancing but never received emails or phone call back. I went to ***** in October 2023 to see about another car and ***** Finance told me they couldnt find my account with **********************. I called Westlake Financial immediately and customer ********************** told me that I didnt owe them anything. Apparently, Westlake Financial closed my account without notifying me. This was alarming because that meant that I was in danger of my new car being repossessed. I am a single parent and could not afford to take this big loss. It has caused my credit score to drop tremendously and now I am paying double the price for different car due to the scamming that this company did to me. This company must illegally repossess cars by creating confusion thus putting the wrong payee name in pay out checks and then ignoring emails and phones and never properly communicating with their customers. They give you the run around while ruining your credit while planning to take your car. This company needs to be investigated!

Beyond WORST financial institution I've ever dealt with. On June 20th I got into an auto accident that declared my car a total loss. My insurance sent a check to them of what my car was worth which went to the loan. Trying to get westlake financial to cover the remaining balance from my gap, they refused to pay off the entire loan. They only paid half of the loan. When I asked why, they made some ******** claim saying that I had prior damage from a previous accident and they wouldn't cover that portion of it. Complete bullshit! When a car is totaled, the gap is ALWAYS responsible for paying off the resr of the loan. F****** pieces of shut thry are! just didn't want to pay off the loan on top of that adding interest to what I still owe which will now take me even longer to pay off thanks to their dumb assess. I had to drive a rental around for almost a month thanks to the westlake financial gap giving me the run around the entire time. I am ****** at automation too because they are partially responsible

If I could leave a -5 Star to this bank, I would.Call started at 1.19pm EST 07/19/2024 Agent barely vocalizing words, hard to understand, asked to be transferred to manager *****, who she spoke over me, didnt understand the issue. I explained i wanted to process the payoff of my car but had issues over the website and IVR. Explained that i requested the adjustment from $9.381,54 to $8.996.64 but only gave me the option to pay in full $9.381,54. Keeping in mind that I processed a ticket on the website #****** at 23:36. She said the payoff can't be done on the website , tho it doesn't say that ANYWHERE on the website. She asked me "Why didn't you call yesterday (7/18/2024)? Where did you submit the ticket?", like where else, on your website. She was BEYOND RUDE, I told her I would wait for the next manager available and that if had to talk to HQ would do it also. Asked for a manager for a second time with her and she transferred to ******** who did understand and help me with the payment. Honestly, I was a trainer, customer ********************** agent and also manager, and NEVER have i encountered such a horrible experience with this 2 ladies. RUN FROM THIS PEOPLE. WORST "FINANCIAL" SERVICE EVER

Over a month ago her passtime failed. She had called in and tried to resolve herself. This did not work, only certain mechanics work on the system and will not touch it due to tamper laws. She has accrued well over $2000 dollars in shuttle and travel expenses as she has a medical need and the vehicle is her only way of getting to the doctor. She aslo has young children and they have missed out on many activities and the summer, with no transportation. Lastly, her job is being affected as she cannot make it into the office consistently. Please see the attached screenshots of the diagnostic done by a mechanic that was paid to come to the home, towing adds up real fast. There is power to the unit as verified by Passtime when I talked with them, which is why you are being notified this will need to be replaced or to be taken out, The unit is no longer allowing power to the ignition and is inop. Will not pass current to start the vehicle. I had the mechanic scan and as you can see power to and nothing to ignition. This needs to be fixed and or replaced. The next step is to file in court if you do not acknowledge this email and correct it. I will await your response.

Please, please, please do not use Westlake Portfolio Management to finance anything. They do not disclose that they are putting you on a lease. Then when you call to get a payoff they do not disclose that its a lease. Then on top of your payoff amount you owe a $3000 purchasing fee that they still dont disclose. They will not release your title until you pay the $3000. Refuse to use Westlake Portfolio Management if any merchant tries to get you to finance with them! They are dishonest on the front end about the financing product youre purchasing. They will not disclose the type of financial product they have put you in. They will not disclose their purchase fee on the front end or when you go to get your payoff. After you pay your payoff you will still owe a $3000 fee to actually get to own your car. Westlake Portfolio Management are dishonest and bad business! If not for me do it for yourself and go somewhere else that does not use WestLake Portfolio Management.
