I called in to have two sub zero refrigerators looked at. two different problems. The technician **** came out to look and stated one needed a new ice maker and the other needed freon. He was going to fix one that day and order part for the other one (ice maker) and return later that week to fix. Two weeks later the one with freon was leaking water and broke again. They sent a new technician out and said it needed more work and wanted to charge me $1900 to fix it. I was upset and told them to refund me $. They only gave me back $350 and stated I had to pay the $75 technician fee for coming out. Shortly after maybe another two weeks the ice maker breaks on 2nd fridge and leaks water all over my master bedroom. I called and they told me someone would get back to me-never did. I tried calling **** technician that came out initially and he sends me to voicemail and phone seems to be off or he blocked my calls. Now I keep calling and they are telling me it's over the 60 days warranty so they can't do anything. They basically waited to talk to me and made me keep calling until my 60 days were up. I'm so fed up with calling over and over again this past month. Very bad business and they also seem to be changing their business name on yelp and *******

On 11/29 a technician came out in response to our call about our washing machine lid latch malfunctioning. The technician said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. On the worksheet he wrote under materials 'lid lock assembly switch' and quoted **** for the job. We declined the work because the estimated cost was exorbitant. But we willingly paid the *** diagnostic fee. When asked for the part number of the item needing replaced the technician said that he didn't know it and I would have to call the office to get it. How can he quote a price if he doesn't know the part number thst needed to be replaced? So I call the office and they refuse to give me the part number! They say that it is 'internal information' and I remind them that I just paid *** for this information. I was told that the manager ****** would call me back. Never heard from him.

Asking for a refund as I did not get the information I paid for.

On 7/19/2022, I sought the services of Always Open Appliance Repair for my broken Refrigerator. There is a diagnostic fee of *** for the appliance that is applied towards the cost of the repair if the appliance is repaired by them. I was given an estimate of **** to repair the defrost system. That didn't include yet the repair of the water supply to the water dispenser and the ice maker. The technician couldn't assess the cost of the repair at that time pending repair of the defective valve at the wall that connects the water line to my refrigerator. My refrigerator has been repaired quite a few times for the water tubing problem that caused water leak to the floor and I was advised by the technician who repaired it before that should this break again, it would be better for me to just buy a new refrigerator since, aside from my refrigerator already being old, it is not practical anymore to have the tubing repaired every now and then, using a new connector everytime. Besides, he said, the plastic tubing has already become very brittle to warrant replacement of the whole tubing and doing so would require more time to replace it and that costs more money to replace it. Having that in mind, plus the **** cost to repair the defrost system, I choose not to have my refrigerator repaired anymore. In the meantime, I paid the diagnostic fee of ******* I filed a claim with my insurance to reimburse cost of replacing my refrigerator. I was denied claim because Always Open Appliance Repair couldn't provide the diagnostics explaining the actual cause of failure or malfunction of my refrigerator which was required by *************************** Insurance to determine if the issue meets the definition of equipment breakdown. *** and I made several attempts (phone, text, email) to contact Always Appliance Repair regarding this matter. It has not provided the information *** Ins. needed to evaluate my claim that led to the denial of my claim.
