They diagnose and esttimate with replacing ignitor . Later replaced wrong part which had never mentioned before. I suspected and asked the technicion leave the old part with me. But he strongly refused because of "company policy" I took this company to the small court. I won the case. I still waiting for the check . If they don't, I am sure going for the further action.

The technician diagnosed the issue and we're open with the customer from the first place The customer signed on the estimate with all the information and agreed to get the job done.On top of the repair, the customer wanted to have a maintenance on his unit and get it cleaned. We sent an estimate for that service as well, and the customer signed on it too.We got his unit working and then he provided the full payment. We are sorry to hear that the customer is not satisfied, but we did everything we could to make it work for him.

I had a terrible experience with Universal Heating and Air. The technician they sent out not only uninstalled important wires from my HVAC system but left me with a system that doesn't work at all! Its unbelievable how careless they ******* make matters worse, when I tried to reach out for help, the customer service representative I spoke with was incredibly rude. She even had the audacity to curse at me during the conversation! This level of unprofessionalism is ****************, Im left with a broken AC and mounting costs to fix the mess they made. I will be pursuing legal action against the company to recover the expenses incurred due to their negligence. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere!

***** was fantastic. He figured out the problem with my thermostat quickly and resolved it. He was thorough, clear, fast, and friendly. He also provided additional information about membership offerings that I felt were very beneficial and with the price. THNAK YOU UNIVERSAL!

Very rude customer service. And unethical business.I would stay away from them. They tell you on the phone that there no charge to go and give an estimate and then they charge you when they come. My tenant didn't know so they paid. After that they have an estimate for replacement of parts but when we asked for what part etc they said they will not give us any details or even pictures of our furnace etc. They actually hung up on us saying they don't give out any information so that we don't fix it ourselves or get a competitive quote.

avoid them like the plague their technician came over looked at the ac unit did not test anything then quoted 1550 for New 3 ton Motherboard ******* which is a 40$ on Amazon the bigger problem is that there is nothing wrong with the motherboard to begin with then says 350 for a contractor which is 40$ and it too has nothing wrong with it I call them up and they hang up on me after I implied that they are scammers 4/28/2024

Should be less than zero stars. Universal came out on a claimed $49 service call, tried to sell me $2500 in upgrades that had nothing to do with my actual furnace problem (like UV light, electrostatic filters, cleaning and "disinfection"). All the Universal tech actually did was check the furnace, change a fuse and charge me $400 for about an hour of actual work time; then the system failed again as soon as their tech left, which was because he failed to identify the actual problem; and then Universal refused to make it good without charging another $1100 for irrelevant services. By this time I checked ****** reviews where similar stories were posted, realized I had been swindled, and called a reputable company; I will also file a complaint with the ********** contractors license board. The actual problem was subsequently fixed by ****** Heating and Air by changing what turned out to be a defective thermostat which was failing to shut down the furnace, leading to overheating.

Don't do business with Universal HVAC. They have little to no integrity and here's the only thing you can count on - you as a customer don't matter and be prepare to file claims with your insurance company and the ******************* if you do hire them.I hired them to replace my existing HVAC on June 27, 2023. They quoted me the wrong system, but the sales guy insisted it was right and I didn't have the knowledge to contradict him. They installed the new unit and it after completion, we discovered it was too powerful for the size of my home. Because of inadequate ceilling space, water began to pool on the unit and it flooded my home, creating damage to the walls, ceilling and wood floors. Universal HVAC came back and replaced the bigger system with a smaller system but at no price change.Universal HVAC's owner - Peri is pretty deceitful. He promised to respond and then ghosted me. I ended up having to file insurance claims for damages and file a complaint with the *******************.

AC was not working. *** came out said it needed new condenser and coil to the tune of $5000 to $11000. Got hold of a friend that does AC units. He fixed it in 5 minutes. Said it was a capacitor and that the guy from this company had wired it to fail. I would give those company a -1 star if I could.

LIES. FRAUD. INCOMPETENT WORKMANSHIP. POOR MANAGEMENT. BREACH OF CONTRACT. UNETHICAL. GASLIGHTING. TWO INSURANCE CLAIMS AGAINST THIS COMPANY CURRENTLY IN PROCESS. My experience with this company was horrible. I contracted them to put in a new HVAC system. It took 3 months to finish the job and bring it up to code. System was working fine initially, but did not pass inspection 10 items were non-compliant, including improper wiring! As a state-licensed contractor, they are mandated to install systems that are up to local code. ***** consistently tried to tell me that the system they installed is fine and up to to code. He even suggested bringing out a different inspector, thinking he would get different results. Unbelievable. It was only after I threatened to file complaints with the Contractor's ********************* and BBB and tap their bond that they agreed to fix my system.Installation of an HVAC system that did not meet city code ********** financial practices, including putting a contract into Docusign that indicated a higher rate than what was agreed to; charging my credit card without permission before job was complete and inspected; refusing to reverse fraudulent charge until I made an additional payment; refusing to reverse the fraudulent charge for over a week after additional payment was made ********** practices related to equipment testing, including submitting a false/fake HERS test in lieu of having unit properly inspected Failure to include contract language about rights to cancel or rescind; payment plan; or deadline for job completion Installation, without change order, of equipment that is different from what is outlined in contract Placed drainage pipes in a dangerous position in front of attic opening Repeated refusal to bring system up to code or fix when it was reported as inoperable Installing a bathroom fan incorrectly that did not work, refusing to fix that bathroom fan Numerous no shows
