Shortly after the arrival of the Community Director in March 2024, I noticed serious issues concerning safety and legality within the community. After responsibly and in good faith reporting these alarming conditions, my car was immediately stolen and vandalized. This action was evidently retaliatory, coming swiftly after my reports were made. The retaliatory actions of the management and maintenance team has caused substantial distress, financially and emotionally, disrupting both my personal and professional life.Further compounding these issues, there is an extensive email thread involving the Community Director, which highlights the management's deceptive practices. In these emails, the Community Director falsely claimed that an ill cat was responsible for the persistent chemical odor permeating my apartment. If it were cat urine, the smell would not disappear or permeate my apartment the way that it did. Later in the written exchange, the same individual explicitly acknowledged the smell but deceitfully attributed it to another tenant, despite evidence confirming it was indeed them occupying the problematic unit. I ended up peacefully moving to another unit, all for this to start back up again February 2025, after the unit beneath me became vacant. This blatant dishonesty and manipulation only intensified the severity of my living ************ is vital for potential renters to understand the extent of negligence, dishonesty, and retaliation exhibited by this property's management team. My encounter with them has been consistently challenging, costly, and emotionally taxing. Anyone considering renting from this landlord should proceed with extreme caution, as their management practices raise serious concerns regarding tenant safety, legality, and basic ethical standards. Tenant retaliation is illegal.

We leased with ************ in October 2024, with move-in scheduled for December 14th. We were told the unit would be vacant by early November. A week before move-in, we asked for a walkthrough to plan furniture placement and avoid delays since we had movers scheduled at 8:30 AM. Our request was denied, asking us to return on December 13th. On December 12th, Britni, the property manager, said the unit was still under maintenance and couldnt be seen until 11:00 AM on move-in day, forcing us to reschedule our movers to 11:30 AM.When we arrived on December 14th, the unit was far from ready: food debris, dog and human hair, mismatched paint, holes in walls, dirty HVAC filters, and a strong wet dog odor. Maintenance and the cleaner made inadequate attempts to resolve issues. We had to clean cabinets and counters instead of unpacking. On December 16th, ****** admitted the unit wasnt move-in ready and offered $500 and a gift basket, but we felt one months rent was more appropriate. She promised cleaning, painting, and movers to relocate our belongings to an empty garage, but they were instead placed in a shared, smoky garage without a key provided. Movers arrived early, maintenance entered without notice or permission. ****** later gave us only 14 hours notice for painters, who didnt cover belongings, causing damage. Corporate calls were promised but never made. ****** became dismissive, falsely claiming we refused the $****** of now, theres been no resolution, and ****** continues to avoid accountability. Offering to release us from the lease is not a solutionwe shouldnt have to move again due to managements negligence. At least one months rent is the bare minimum for three weeks of stress, wasted time, and an uninhabitable unit.Haven Pointes poor communication and professionalism have been unacceptable, and well continue advocating for fair compensation.
