      Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH I tried for sometime to rent a warehouse at **************** from them. I noticed the place has been available for over 6 months with no movement. I contacted Allen property and ***********************. ****** is the most lethargic, unmotivated property agent I have ever met. After playing phone tag and him approving the use I needed it for, we agreed to a time to view the warehouse. The guy showed up late looking like he just came off a ****** and didn't bring the keys I had told ****** my credit score was low but I could provide stellar rental references and pay the first year in advance. ****** said that would work and he would present this to the owner and see what we could work out. So my rental reference sent a reference to ******. I also sent a profit loss statement, a personal letter describing my situation. This is the first time using ******** email so I was looking for confirmation that he received my personal information? I send him a text on a Friday to see if he received. Most professional managers will acknowledge your very personal emails with a response, not him. So my text went ignored. On Monday I texted again to see if he received, once again crickets no response, very amateur. Then I called Allen Properties and asked for ***** Allen the owner, I left him a voicemail about ******** incompetence. A woman named ******* called me back and apologized for ******** incompetence, almost like its a regular thing. I told **************** had sent personal document to ****** and he hasn't told me he received them. ******* then told me that she would present my info and that I'd pay a year advance ****** and ******* called me back together and told me the owner denied rent for the warehouse a year in advance and denied my references that were excellent. I get screwed because ****** ***** at his job and the owner of the warehouse gets screwed because ****** ***** at his job, and Allen properties gets this bad review because ****** ***** at his job. .

      It appears this reviewer has the wrong Allen Properties.  We are a residential apartment management company and do not handle warehouses or manage any property at the address given.  None of the individuals noted in the review work for our company.

      Overpriced and lousy. They not only charged after move out but charged us for regular maintenance that they should have to do regardless and doesn't want to return any deposit money. SCAM

      Car was towed from my own parking spot with a permit on it. Manager says not her problem. Had to walk my son to his bus stop this morning. Car isn't even worth the tow but it is our car. The rules change constantly and the complex 3 previous rental spots are now "vendor parking". You have to register the car for the stickers but what's the point if they don't check the sticker or who is the registered spot. Spoke with the main maintenance manager and he told us we shouldn't be towed out of our own spots. Whether or not we park the stickered car, outside stickered car. I have lived in this complex since 2014. It's gets worse and worse. Gym is not an amenity they way that looks. They took out two bbqs and a sink because they didn't want to enforce the rules. We used to have fountains. Kids could play outside. Now we have no trash cans anywhere but the main one and can't go on the grass. They rarely clean. Floors soaked in urine. Urine so bad it eats at the poles and they have to be reinforced. Upstairs pee everywhere, hoses locked. During covid no precautions were taken. Pool was closed over a year. Just nonsense. They've taken out the chairs to lounge in the open area. Don't get me restarted on this parking situation. Street parking is minimal but you cant park in your own spot for $ 2,200/mo!

      Thank you for your review and for sharing your concerns.  In an effort to assist you as quickly as possible, please communicate any specific concerns with the on-site manager.  We want to make sure things are looked at and taken care of as quickly as is reasonable.  Please understand that the current parking rules were initiated and have remained consistent for the last several years.  The color of the parking permit stickers has been updated to accommodate new residents, however all residents were notified and provided the new permits along with instructions on where to place them prior to those permits becoming effective.  The policies themselves though have remained the same.  With regard to those items that have been updated, renovated, or changed at the property, please understand that these changes were undertaken in an effort to improve the community and/or to enhance the landscaped areas.  We certainly appreciate and do ask for the assistance of all residents in staying off the landscaped areas as well as disposing of trash in the correct receptacles.  Each Courtyard has 2 BBQs for residents use.The ******/cleaning company is onsite daily during business hours to maintain the grounds, plus a recent power wash of the upper decks was performed approximately 2 months ago.  During COVID, the pool and gym were both closed as per recommended guidelines.  The manager worked from home during this time and all staff wore masks and maintained the appropriate distance from others.  Whenever possible,communication was handled online or over the phone.  ********** and property had safety measures put in place to disinfect and clean more frequently.  We understand and are sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations, but we do hope that you are open to discussing further your concerns with the onsite manager.

      I've been living at ************************************************. There's been constant issues and I've worked in property management so I know what's illegal and unethical. Every time something isn't done I have to contact property manager instead of her doing her job. My lease has been up since May 30th and I still haven't received my renewal but got a pay or quit notice on my door for the rental difference when I haven't received a ***** day notice for the new rent if I chose to renew. I had it posted to my door a couple days before my lease expiration and that's illegal because what if I couldn't afford the new rent and that didn't give me time to find an affordable place. Not only that the property manager harasses my visitors and always threatened to tow their vehicle because we don't have visitors parking. My main visitor is my mother and she's almost 70 and only comes in to pick up or drop of my kids she can't move that fast and shouldn't have to walk that far to do this especially if she's only in the community for **** mins. She also harassed my sister because she had a service dog and dogs aren't allowed at the community but my sister came to help me nest and set up my apartment because I was pregnant and needed help. Anytime we need something repaired they take forever to fix it with no accommodations such as A/C during a heatwave! I had to ask for a portable a/c instead of being offered one when I put in the service request. I also keep reaching out multiple times for the lease renewal and still have not received it and also emailed corporate and haven't heard back. This is ridiculous!

      Worst leasing agency ever... ****** is a complete waste of time can't figure anything out. Her assistant ********* also can't get straight answer for her tanats. The service is horrible and they never ever call back when you call them and leave them a voice mail. They're lazy and unprofessional.
