Sunday, October 5, 2025.I visited this laundromat and paid a total of $7.50, $5.50, $4.75, $4.75, and $3.00 to wash five loads, plus $14.00 to dry them. One of the large mega washing machines did not disburse water during the cycle.I knocked on the employee door, and a young woman who spoke limited English came out. I was able to communicate with her in Spanish and explained the issue. She told me that customers are not allowed to use the hot water because it does not work. I told her there were no signs or warnings indicating that, and asked what would happen with the money, soap, and fabric softener I had already used. She called the owner, ****, and had him on speakerphone. **** stated that all of the machines are breaking down. I requested compensation, but his response was simply to run the machine again, showing no concern for the additional detergent, fabric softener, or cost. When I spoke directly to ****, I told him he should post signs warning customers about the hot water issue. His response was, If you dont like the laundromat, go to another one!The facility itself is in poor condition. There is visible mildew on the ceiling, holes in the walls, thick dust around the machines, and the restroom is inaccessible. The dryers also did not perform properly even after paying for one hour of drying time, my clothes remained damp. After checking online, I noticed that there are multiple negative reviews describing similar problems. I believe this business is taking advantage of customers by knowingly operating broken machines without proper notice or accountability.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a refund for the faulty wash and drying cycles, as well as for the detergent and fabric softener wasted due to the machine malfunction. I also urge the owner to post clear signage about out-of-order or limited-function machines to prevent future customer losses.
