On May 2, 2025 a semi hit our vehicle and the semi insurance was given to us. It took 6 weeks for us to get ahold of the adjuster, even with an attorney. It has now been 70 days and I dont have a rental car, my car was totaled and has not been paid off even though I signed all the paperwork, and the adjuster is not responsive to voicemails or emails. I want updates!

I received a voicemail on March 28, 2025 at 2:41 PM from ***** ******, a Work Comp Adjuster with Corvel, assisting another adjuster named ******* ******. The message was directed to someone who is not me, about a work related injury. I called back and left a voicemail for ***** asking her to call me back because the person she was trying to reach was not me, and I wanted to check that the person was not wrongfully using any of my other information. I received no reply from the voicemail I left. On April 1st, 2025 at 4:14 PM I received another call from *****, where she was attempting to contact the same person who is not me. I brought up to ***** that I left her a voicemail asking for a return call about the fact that I am not that person, and my concern that someone might be using my information. ***** acknowledged that she had received the voicemail, but clearly did not act on it, as she never called me back about the voicemail and was calling me again trying to reach the person who wasn't me. I also received text messages from Corvel on April 1, 2025 and April 4, 2025 regarding the comp claim. When asked to verify information to exclude that this person was not using any other of my information, not an uncommon practice for ruling out fraud, and I have done it in similar situations before, ***** refused. ***** claimed she was "sure" the phone number was entered into HR incorrectly, without having any information or investigation into the issue to give her any basis to be "sure" about anything. This leaves my only other option as to file potential fraud/identity theft complaints with regulators regarding Corvel. I'm an attorney, and it's not out of wheelhouse to do this, but it's certainly a pain. It came across as ***** was just lazy and did not want to deal with it. This will be dealt with, either by Corvel, or by regulatory complaints. I would encourage Corvel to contact me and take care of this themselves, and save me the trouble of filing the complaints.

I don't understand how this is even a company. NO ONE answers the phone and when I did call, my adjuster didn't even know what I was talking about when I was referring to my surgery that I just had on 2/25. I have questions and want to get everything scared away but no one wants to do their job and pick up the phone! I wish my employer NEVER would've switched to them. I have a better chance of having a conversation with a wall than these people picking up the phone. trash company!

They refuse to pay my claim theyre not answering. My phone calls are not returning my phone calls on February 26 of 23. I was injured at a store thats insured by them and the supervisor *** ****** told me that they cannot pay out any claims after November 2024. I filed my claim 2/2023 so I was waiting to settle my claim that was approved by *** ******* and ***** ****** I sent the paperwork that they requested to settle my claim for $2500 and it was approved before November 2024.. I was waiting on them to contact me. One of the agents contacted me and told me to sign paperwork, and once its signed and notarize, send it to them and they will settle my claim and I did this before November 2024. So I sent the paperwork. And I was waiting for my settlement and then *** ****** who is one of the supervisors told me that theyre not gonna pay my claim or settle my claim because American freight furniture store, ***** outlet Filed bankruptcy and they cannot pay any claims after November 2024. And they cant do anything after November 2024 I filed my claim before November 2024 and so thats why Im filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Corvel Corporation. And theyre annoying the calls theyre not replying. Theyre not replying to the emails anymore and I just wanna file a complaint because I think Im not the only one that theyre doing this to Corvel Corporation needs to do better communications with clients. And in my personal opinion, I think they should get rid of **** ****, *** ******, *** *******, and ***** ******.

Last year, fall of 2023, unfortunately ***** ****** of CorVel Corporation was assigned to me as a "nurse case manager". She has absolutely done NOTHING to help my dire medical situations. She made my medical issues worse, denied medical devices suggested by specialists, forced me to do her work without pay, lied on me, NOT ever answered any relative medical questions that I've asked of her so that I can make informed decisions. I seriously wonder if she's a real nurse! I always have to get simple medical/anatomy answers elsewhere or not at all. She pretends to NOT know basic medical/nurse info. The only time she has ever talked about medical stuff is when she stresses about wanting a *********************************** I have questions about my own health & healing. She has rescheduled my medical appointments with the claims adjuster **** ******* & not informed me. She wanted me to miss appointments. I would find out by accident/concerned med staff told me. I've had to manage my own case without pay. Proveable! She wouldn't follow-up on my referrals & prescribed devices. I've spent countless hours that turned into months, trying to get my prescribed and much NEEDED equipment, looking for nonexisting doctors *************** She is withholding ***************** that I need. June 6, ******************************* until the end of August. I did complain to **** ******* in June or not later than 1st wk of July. I NEED a very important pre-op procedure done. She's playing with my life, health, job, income, housing, future, healing & rights... I DON'T trust her! Her core ethics don't impress me. I can prove all I've said. She's costing me my income which is forcing me into the cracks of POVERTY. How inhumane to be so biased, irresponsible and clearly retaliating against me. I've been successful at scheduling my appointments without her. Now she's creating roadblocks causing me more PAIN & SUFFERING! I NEED a real nurse case manager that is NOT closely connected to *****.

I have a number of complaints about this company that have left me angry and exhausted. Different departments/individuals seem to have different and often contradictory information on important subjects; claims adjusters do not communicate with clients/care providers in a clear and timely manner; and most of my interactions with them have been very unprofessionalfor example, phone operators giggling while setting me up with an X-ray. I tried to speak to my claim adjusters supervisor about the communication issues. She answered my question on communication within CorVel by explaining the referral process; when I said that didnt answer my question and tried to ask in a different way, she kept repeating the same non-answer. Finally she said she would bring it up with her manager. I said I have a number of other complaints that I would like her manager to know of as well, and she asked what they were. When I tried to explain them, she REPEATEDLY interrupted me, cut off my sentences before I could even get to the actual problem, and said she would tell her manager. How could she tell her manager something that she wouldnt even let me say? Clearly my concerns have been brushed off. She made it clear that she would not be hearing me out, so I gave up.These issues have left me confused, frustrated, and exhausted. My hope was that CorVel would not want their clients to feel this way, but after this interaction with the supervisor, it is clear to me that they do not actually care about their clients. I really hope that somebody in this company makes the changes to ensure that other clients arent left feeling the way I do, because as injured employees, we often dont get a choice in dealing with companies like CorVel. Im happy to provide more information if BBB or CorVel want it.

I was injured on the job back in August of 2022. Corvel was my ********* compensation company through my employer. I finally got back to work in October of 2023 and requested a payout from Corvel on 12/18/23 through my adjuster. ******** would just tell me she was working on it and to call back in 2 weeks. She eventually stopped answering my calls or returning my calls.I left numerous voicemails and eventually got her to return one on 4/12. This was a voicemail returned call from 4/2. She told me everything was being forwarded and I would be getting contacted by their attorney to get the offer and paperwork finished. Sure couldn't give me any info on the attorney or when they would contact me, just that it would be in May or June. After not hearing anything back from her, mid June I tried to contact her. Left numerous messages and never had a returned phone call from her. On 6/18 I called the corvel office and was able to be transferred to her immediate supervisor. She said that this should have been completed already since it has been 6 months since the initial request. She told me that she would escalate the issue to get in touch with the ********* compensation manager from my work. If no contact from her, call back in 2 weeks. Called the supervisor 7/2 and was told there has been no movement. She started their attorney is trying to write up the payout offer but they aren't getting any returned phone calls. She started they followed up twice last week with no response. She started if they don't hear anything back by end of week she would elevate it to the managers supervisor. It's been 6+ months with no movement. This entire process is like pulling teeth and they really need to be looked at. The most frustrating thing is the lack of consistent no contact, almost like they just hope you go away. You know if I owed then something, they would have gone about getting that immediately.

In May 2021, I was injured at my job Community Medical Centers in ******, **. I went through the entire process of filing a worker's comp claim and received a receipt of my DWC form from CorVel. After that, I never heard from them again. I never received payment, I had to use personal time for my injury, and they never helped with treatment.Since 2021, I have been calling and emailing this company without any response. This is ridiculous, that for two years, I have heard nothing and they have continued to not answer the phone. I have called every number posted for this CorVel and it leads to the same result. I am convinced no one actually works here. It is a shame that I can't just get what I need from them. An answer is all I need!

This is in regards to an auto property claim, which I believe has been handled outside of the normal and appropriate processing scope with the adjuster I was assigned, ******************* from CorVel. During the initial phone call we had, I was advised I would be receiving a check in the amount of $450 for the 9 days loss of use, since that's how long it took from the date of the accident (May 4th, 2023) until the date the company CorVel began handling the property claim (May 13th, 2023). Since the initial phone call, every correspondence has been handled through email, which at many times has been very unusual and unprofessional (Including my name being spelled incorrectly on the appraiser's estimate). My damaged vehicle was towed to a repair shop On Wednesday May 15th as instructed by adjuster, *******. During this time, I was asked numerous times for their contact information (though it was already provided). I was never issued the initial estimate amount or even offered the option, and I was advised that it was my responsibility to ensure the repair shop provided supplemental documentation before any payment would be issued. The process just to get the accident acknowledged through the City of Durham was tumultuously delayed (even with the police report). I was consistently given the run-around and negligently disregarded by the City of Durham's Liability Claims Analyst, ***********************. Now after Corvel began handling the property claim, the process has become even more difficult. After the initial phone call with the adjuster, I was later told my car was deemed "drivable" by the appraiser and urged to have my damaged vehicle moved into the repair shop. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024. On the day of May 22nd, 2024, I was contacted by ***************, a claims supervisor, who advised me "we're not giving you four hundred fifty dollars".
