  Taxes not alleviated- were aggravated In looking for tax reduction- I contacted Alleviate taxes. I clearly told them I could pay my tax liabilities and did not want installment payments to the *** with associated interest. I can do that on my own. They understood and took my money/ I filed my own taxes and worked with 2 individuals articulating again I did not want installment payments , I wanted my tax liability reduced and I could pay if it became necessary. I sent my financial statements, pending financial burdens and commitments, hoping these would be used to represent my situation to the ***. End Result- tax liability was increased 30%. Post conclusion resolution conversation- They stated they have no power to negotiate lower taxes. Only the *** can evaluate your specific situation. Even though the never stated they could reduce taxes, they gladly took my money knowing I was able to pay, and proceeded to set up installment payments for me- indicating the *** was reviewing my case. That placated me momentarily, until nothing happened and I contacted the ***. They claim they met their contract agreement/ but they hurt me financially. Admonition: Call the *** directly- do your own negotiating. Get in writing what they will be able to deliver. I asked for a partial refund because of the disappointing result and was denied. I believe they onboarding knowing they could not deliver what I requested. For any future clientele, I asked them to articulate carefully what deliverables will be. I am disgusted with what happened, the result, being bounced around, and the defense of these practices. Please learn from my $ 4000 mistake.

  My story might not be unusualor maybe it is. I was married for over 40 years and had accumulated quite a lot of debt. What I didnt know at the time was that my soon-to-be ex-wife had used part of her inheritance just to get her taxes current. That was over 14 years ago.During the next 14 years, I survived, but I didnt thrive. I didnt pay taxes. I was in a mental tailspin. I could make enough to get by, but when tax time came, I never had enough to take care of my obligations. SoI didnt.For years, I ignored the phone calls from companies claiming they could help with my taxes. Every call was a reminder of the hammer hanging over my headthe hammer that I feared would one day come down in the form of the **** crushing my life.Then, about a year and a half ago, something changed. I finally answered one of those calls. The caller ID said *********************** Taxes, a number Id seen dozens of times. I dont know what made me answer that day, but Im glad I did. On the other end was a young man named ********.He told me what he knew about my situation and said he believed his firm could help. I explained how for over a decade, I felt like someone was standing behind me with a hammer, ready to strike. That fear dominated my life.Not long after my elderly mother passed, I received a small settlement. I decided to invest in myselffinallyand use some of those funds to face this *********** forward to today: my life has changed! ******** called to tell me the *** had approved an Offer in Compromise. The amount? After 14 years of neglect, penalties, and interest I only need to pay $100 within the next 4 months.I can afford that.Fourteen years of fear, stress, and avoidancegone. I feel lighter, *****, and more hopeful than I have in years. I dont know if anyone else will ever have a story quite like mine, but I do know this: if I hadnt answered that call, I would still be living in fear.If youre in a similar situation, do your homework!

  I was not happy with the treatment I received after I submitted the required paper work to get my case started. I paid the initial fee to get started and then another fee for phase 2. Then I was told the best they could do was a monthly payment of $150.00 per month and my tax debt and fees could not be lowered. Before I accepted their proposal, I asked to see it in writing by email, which I never received. I feel like this was definitely a scam.

  They are very unprofessional. They settled my IRS case with a non collection from IRS, I'm noy unhappy with the result they got for me, it took them less then 30 days to get results. I don't feel I should of been charged over $3000 for the services.I feel I've been abused as A senior citizen i told them I have a financial hardship.and they just ignore **** totally resent hiring there service and regret it as I will be paying them for the next 2 years. I've tried to communicate with them several times and have just been ignored,

  We hired Alleviate Tax to help with back taxes. The settlement they got for us, was $0 less than what we originally owed. Now we just have a new monthly payment to pay for the services of Alleviate Tax. On top of that, we were told NOT to engage in any payment plans for those back taxes while they did their investigation. We accumulated MORE late fees during that time. So now, we have a NEW monthly payment to Alleviate Tax AND we have more late fees to pay off. Lastly, they assured us by hiring their services the *** could not put a lean on our house and garnish wages, but we were just told by the *** they will be going that route soon.

  DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I was charged $10,000 & didn't sign any papers or told who or what was the loan company or rates & terms. The loan company told me to tell Alleviate to give them back the money they paid them and hung up the phone, I was told by **** that he used my voice to accept loan. I asked him to send me the recordings and he agreed but never did. I was passed around to person to person not getting anywhere. I sent faxes, text, certified mail, emails, it was a awful experience. FINALLY, resolution department sent cancelation of services to loan *********** pray it's finally over.

  Hello my name is ****** ****** and after a long hard search I decided to speak to Alleviate Tax Relief about my Tax problems..A very courtesy and friendly voice answered the phone.I was introduced to Ms.**** *********** listen to my tax concerns in depth and was patient and professional. I decided after she pitched why Alleviate Tax Relief was a good option for **** was very relaxed and felted comfortable with her knowledge and confidence. She assumed me that it would most helpful to resolve all my tax problems..She was warm and caring.I felt really good about my decision and I have no regrets about choosing Alleviate Tax Relief..Thanks **** for all ur help and looking forward to resolving all my tax issues with ur help and dedication..

  I was contacted by Alleviate Tax and basically was told I needed services in paid 200 of money I do not have as I am homeless..,only to find out no taxes are needed to be filed....I got nothing for this service and I want my money returned immediately...BAD SERVICE
