      I contracted w/ US Storage in REMOVED, REMOVEDfor a 10x10 unit. The contract allows for price changes to the monthly rate w/ 30 days notice & says there is an appeal process to dispute raises in fees. I received a low introductory fee which I expected to change. The first increase was initially proposed at 300% after just a couple months into the contract. It was negotiated down to over 100% increase. Their reasoning was "market rate". I accepted this increase only to be told a shortly thereafter it would be raised over 100% again. Even though I showed them comps to prove their rate was above market rate, the rate went up. It was now at $87/ mo up from the original $18. Shortly thereafter they attempted to raise the rate to almost $300/mo. They failed to notify me so were forced to keep my rate at $87 another month. Again, they claim market rate but nobody is renting a 10x10 for $100 let alone $300 in the area where this facility exists. They lowered it to $150, a still unacceptable high increase with no promise they wouldn't increase it again with no end in sight. When I attempt to speak to a human, I'm only able to either talk to the local facility or a call center. The local facility offers no transparency into an appeal & says they negotiate on our behalf. It turns out, according to the call center, the local facility decides the number. That would not be a negotiation or an appeal. I am not allowed into that process so in effect it's BS. When asked at what rate they stop raising the rate or if they plan to charge me$400, $600, etc for a 10x10, they said they didn't know. These are predatory practices. I understand recoup money from introductory rate but other facilities allow you to pay for a year effectively locking in rates. US Storage intentionally didn't allow this and isn't forthcoming about their pricing or business practices. They have lied. I will be moving my belongings and they will have an empty unit, but I'm not sure that's a reasonable outcome

      I was renrented a storage unit for four years, during which all of my belongings were damaged due to water intrusion. I attempted to contact a supervisor, but I did not receive any response. A supervisor from the REMOVED, REMOVEDlocation assured me that he would resolve the issue; however, I have not heard any further updates. Despite multiple calls to the dispatch line, I received no communication from him. I have since contacted an attorney and compiled an itemized list of my damages. I would appreciate if someone could respond to me regarding this matter. They were required to record each of my calls, yet I have not been able to establish contact with anyone.

      I rented a storage unit (Unit S18) in REMOVED(REMOVEDlocation) for the months of September and October. I closed out the storage unit on October 22nd. I came in-person to the office on REMOVEDon October 22 and closed out the unit, returning the lock and terminating the rental. The rental was fully paid until the end of October. I now keep receiving a bill that there is still $65 due for the month of November, even though I closed out the account. I have called into the office 6 different times and each time I am told that the issue will be forwarded to the regional manager to get it taken care of. I do not owe any balance since I closed the account in October.

      We rented a storage unit at US Storage Centers, REMOVEDThe initial rate was under $100 with a temporary discount, but within a few months the cost increased several times, exceeding $200. We understood that rates could change, but the frequency and size of these increases were excessive and unexpected.Because of this, we decided to vacate the unit. The staff member I spoke with acknowledged the pricing problem, even mentioning she was experiencing the same issue herself, and advised that if we moved out by November 6th, we would not be charged for another month. I followed those instructions, moved everything out the evening of Nov. 5th, even cleaned the unit. Despite this, another employee refused to acknowledge the move out, claiming a form should have been signed by November 5th, something that was never mentioned prior. He was dismissive and unprofessional, and stated that if we didnt pay, a lien would be placed on the account, even though the unit was completely empty and ready for a new renter. I paid under pressure but strongly believe we should not have been charged for a unit that was vacated and available to re-rent.Additionally, during our time renting, several belongings were damaged by rodents, including a childs wagon that had to be discarded. The facilitys maintenance and cleanliness appeared poor, adding to our frustration.We are requesting a refund for the final months charge and a review of how move-out procedures and billing are communicated to customers to prevent this from happening to others. We also encourage the company to address maintenance and cleanliness concerns at this location to improve conditions for future renters.

      I was using Alta Vista Mini Storage at REMOVED. I notified them from September that October will be my last month. I moved out, I notified them via phone, they said they'll remove me from the system. They don't give you the option to remove or stop the auto-pay. I got an email with an invoice late October, I called them to ask them to stop auto pay and remove me from their system, I remind them I moved-out, they said they'll take care of it. I got charged on my card for the month of November. Called several times, and management never takes care of it, every time you call, they said they'll put a "note in their system" but they don't do anything. Just put notes for the manager REMOVEDwhich never available over the phone.

      Horrible. I rented a small unit from US Storage Centers in REMOVED, REMOVED. a few months ago. Ive made numerous trips to meet with management to resolve one issue or another only to rarely find anyone actually working at the site during normal business hours. The vast majority of the time, youll find a sign saying be back at xxxx time, sorry we missed you. Seriously, half a dozen or more trips only to find them gone. Not during the lunch hour either. Been there a few times in the morning, even returning when the sign said they would be present and they still werent. Started trying to catch them i the afternoon (after 2pm), same result. I ended up clearing out my storage, swept it clean, and suddenly they are calling me every single day to get the unit closed out. I informed the manager REMOVEDthat I would be over after work to do so only to again find a sign saying theyd be out for an hour or so. The place is full of mice, the annex is not climate controlled or monitored well, and the management is rude and pushy. I was told they could close me out but wouldnt do so because they found boxes in my unit after I cleaned it out. I cancelled the card used for billing the unit and told them to keep the boxes. They shouldnt be entering REMOVEDwithout permission anyway.

      I rent a space from property 4180. REMOVED. REMOVED. 1364 building AA. I filed a complaint once before nothing was done I am missing a whole box of shoes and some tools some legginsva jbl Bluetooth speaker. I went to property mgr. Only to be basically brushed off. REMOVEDproperty mgr called me one day on her personal phone to tell me she noticed I changed my lock ( I felt this was uncalled for). She rides by my storage constantly when I'm in there looking to see what's in there. The black guy he is rude and won't h lp and will look at you when you need to be buzzed in. I had an issue with him with him telling me my belongings aren't important. He tried to argue with me and I was in no way at fault I have it recorded. I want them to stop breaking into my unit taking my things I don't appreciate it and it is against the law. I'm coming to you for your help if I don't hear from anyone I am prepared to file a complaint with REMOVEDand better business bureau and the police department. Thank you for your time. Respectfully.

      Unfair Rent increase and fees. The storage unit and all other surrounding units for a unit without electricity Have increased to $190. Yes, there is a late fee, but this is outrageous. Why is it More than $79. It is an inconvenience to perpetually have to move. US Storage Centers - REMOVEDor call REMOVED. It seems like every month there is some new fee or increase in rent. $40 threatened to replace a lock that was paid for in original agreement. Now Lien Charges. I have the money. I am just REMOVED. There are drug users, fiends, homeless encampments and hookers all around this area and it is dangerous.       Rented a storage unit. Paid for 3 months, left a month early. Received notification would get a check for REMOVEDin the mail after 60 days. Weeks went by. Called to follow up. Was told Will look into it was Informed will receive the refund. Now it is 9/11/25. Still no refund? Have called multiple times with no time frame. Something went wrong and no one seems to be accountable. Please help

      I rented a unit around February 2025. And on May 5th 2025 we had a leak.water got in our unit the manger REMOVED. Asked for me to leave my lock key with her to fix the issue, I asked if I was just able to come open the door when maintenance showed up, but she said we had no choice but to leave our key. So today August 25th my unit was half empty a lot of our belongings clothes,shoes,TV tow hitch, and a lot of other belongings are missing. She is being very dismissive, not helpful at all don't want to give me any information on who else I can speak to. We did get our key back two weeks after the leak was repaired. Our locks aren't broken so it makes me think someone made a copy of our key and thats how they got in.
