Testpro has a 100 percent money back guarantee if you fail to land a job in a ***************** role within 12 months after finishing the bootcamp. I finished the program and was not able to land a QA role so I decided to move forward with asking for a refund. When I asked for the refund they asked me to provide them with A list of applications demonstrating a minimum of 20 per week within a one-year period. ( Meaning a total of more than 960 job applications that have to be coming from 20 job applications by week because the dates also matter). At least two face-to-face or phone interviews with hiring manager per month during each of the 12 months after graduation or 12 onsite interviews in total.I provided them with these requirements and their response was that they can't refund me because they suspect that i falsified this information. In addition, I actually tried to sue them in the small claims court but received a doc from the sheriff when he tried to serve the summons that he was unable to serve the summons and made 2 attempts because it looks like the address is only used to pick up mail. I sent them via email the docs showing I was trying to sue them but they didn't care. On many sites there are many people like me that were unable to receive their refund. Whenever I asked to speak over the phone to a supervisor my request was always declined saying that the billing department would send me an email. I also want to tell you guys what this bootcamp is doing that is unethical. So they say that they can help you land a job and they say that because they give you fake references that will tell the people that are trying to do a verification of employment that you worked at xy company x amount of years. They give you the name and email adress of people that will do this favor for you and the fake company experience they want you to put on the resume goes by the name of Kodeploy. A bootcamp that gives you fake resume experience should be shutdown.Business Response

Our program provides students with career support as a courtesy offering to help them in their job search. However, participation in the program requires students to actively search for employment and follow the guidelines set forth. This ensures that the resources we provide are used responsibly and fairly.
In this particular case, the student presented a large amount of fabricated email evidence involving non-existent individuals and companies in an attempt to qualify for a refund. Unfortunately, this is a clear violation of our policies and obligations under the program.
We remain committed to supporting our students who make a genuine effort to complete the program requirements and pursue their career goals. However, we cannot provide refunds when the requirements are not satisfied.Initial Complaint

I signed the contract and paid $2799 on February 23rd and had until March 9th to change my mind and not attend. On March 1st I decided I couldnt do the class schedule and requested a refund. Since that initial email, I have had to email several more times and all responses have been automated. Each says there is a ticket or someone will contact me or my request is being sent to the finance team or its been approved and my money is coming. No one contacts me. Just automated responses and no refund. the latest response was April 24th saying I would have my refund in 5-10 business days and still nothing. I was informed that California law requires them to return the money with 45 days of the refund request.Business Response

Date of transaction: July 7th, 2022 The amount of money paid: $2799 Business commitment: To provide training that will guarantee employment withing 12 month after course completion.Nature of dispute: Refund request.Attempts to resolve the issue: TestPro was contacted via email requesting a refund. Unsuccessful. Email chain with a copy of potentially illegal contract are attached. Section C of the contract requires to meet conditions that potentially can't be met. For example, in order to get a refund it requires to conduct: "Two face-to-face or phone interviews with hiring manager per month during each of the 12 months after graduation or 12 onsitei nterviews in total."A condition that a student doesn't have any control over.Additionally, when refund was requested, TestPro requested information that was not described in this contract and impossible to meet, such as: "Screenshots of each application (at least 960 total for applications and at least 24 interview). On the screenshots should be visible info: dates, time, sender info, hr contacts, cover letters and responses." None of job applications provide this level of visibility. There is no way to tell who is HR contact for a specific application. Thus, conditions set by TestPro make it impossible to get a refund, which they guarantee if a student can't find a job withing 12 month after graduation.Business Response
