    My client ID with *** is ******* and this company has captured my name my photograph my address my date of birth and my entire ** drivers license and is retaining this data in perpetuity meaning forever. The transaction number they captured is T12536661-106-BBW its literally one $15.95 candle I purchased on 1/17/23 and returned WITH RECEIPT the next day 1/18/23 in the same store. I contacted Bath and Body Works on numerous occasions and opened 7-8 cases about this. Im repeatedly told that there is Nothing *** can do, that this identity data is purged by *** every 60 days etc and to call ***. *** then states they OBTAIN my personal image , my DL number my name my address etc FROM *** keep it forever. They hold my personal identifying data for all eternity and use it to assign Me some arbitrary risk score and they share this risk score with multiple other *** clients. Any attempt to get my personally identifying US citizenship data out of the *** database creates a ping pong match. *** outsources to a call center staffed by aggressively rude men in another country - they ALL tell me to call ***. Calling LBrands or *** customer care repeatedly results in ping-pinging me right back to ***. Im NOT a criminal the transaction they hold on me is legal and receipted. I want all my identifying data including my drivers license and photographic image removed from this shady company. Im deeply concerned that *** is going to steal my identity. I also want to understand how to NEVER be entered into their arbitrary judgemental database and assigned some nonsense risk score. This is outrageous. *** left my phone number numerous times for supervisor call backs that never happen. I want to be permanently removed from their database

    So I attempted to return my order from ********** (due to a family emergency) and was denied a return without ever recieving a warning i always shop at ********** and have never had a problem its one of my main shopping places, me and other family members own buisnesses so we are here alot it ***** that I had to borrow money because I couldn't return my order. I have never heard about "The Retail Equation" until a few days ago while trying to process my return. I believe this denial was wrongfully placed on me and would like to have it removed please, also I would like any information that TRE has of mine deleted I do not want to have this problem in the future again I do not want to be looked at as a fraud from any store or any jobs I decide to apply for in the future I would appreciate the help.     Most recently, my husband and I have taken on the endeavor of remodeling our entire home.. As you can expect in the process, we have purchased and returned many items to *********** We have spent over $20,000 at ********** up to date, in the last year in the renovation of our home. Basically, the ********** has been an integral part of our journey. However, most recently we tried to return an online order item that did not fit our sink and we were rejected due to the Retail Equation. I have several more products that I've ordered from ********** , that I'm waiting on and don't know if I'm going to have an issue if I have to return anything. It is really disheartening to think that I will be stuck with products that I don't need when I have put my faith in a company to hold good customer service relations. I do not ********************** items without a receipt and they are in the condition in which they arrive. I spoke to an individual at the Retail Equation company and they told me there was nothing they could do to reverse this decision to reject my possible returns and that they keep a file of returns. Also, I needed to speak to *********** I spoke to customer service at ********** and they reassured me that none of my returns were made without a receipt and that I should have no problem having the decision reversed however, they didn't have the authority to do so. The Manager I spoke to in customer service, over the phone suggested that I contact the corporate office to get things resolved quickly since I may have more returns in the future, as we continue to renovate our home. For reference, the Retail Equation number that was given on a receipt is Transaction ID *****************. I was trying to return a $30 item. We have purchased all of our appliances from ********** in the last year. We are purchased everything for our kitchen, flooring etc from *********** It is unnerving to think that my account would be flagged for something like the Retail Equation.

    I was denied to return a defective item. I do not understand why I will be denied. I am a carepass member and yes I do return stuff and repurchase to get a lower price from the coupons and reward I get but I do not understand why that can be wrong. A couple of times a month I would get a 40% coupon and $10 carepass that I pay for as a member. Because I am traveling soon I bought some hair tools from con air little by little when I have my coupon. When I tested them out they both do not work as Intended. The hot tools does not heat up as advertised. It doesn't curl hair or straighten the hair. Before my purchase I asked the lady who work at the store if she have used it she said that she haven't but I can return it if it doesn't work. I brought the defective product back for a refund but I don't have my receipt I have lost it. But the lady said since she was there she would look up my purchase and return the money to my bank. Then I said I'll buy a different one instead she went to lunch another lady was there she said she will just process a refund on a store credit because she doesn't know how to locate a purchase. I said ok then she asked for my ID then I was given a denial. 96605685-570-CVS and was told I can not make the return. I do not understand why this was triggered l. I seldomly return items only when there is a better pricing or I got a coupon to use and re purchase it. I now feel that my information is being shared and ruins my credibility. This is a defective item I'm returning. This is not something I just thought of. I do not see the fraudulent activity when I'm returning something defective or returning and repurchasing using a coupon for a lower price.

    I also spoke to cvs manager they said they will work on correcting this in the past 2 years I only made 3 returns with no receipt and yes sometimes I lose it but I'm not a fraud

    Transaction ID ******************************* This is the only return on my report. It shows I had no receipt. That is not correct. I showed the associate the receipt and the associate printed out the online order. I would like this report corrected.

    Transaction Date: March 19, 2023 Transaction Number: **** S-***** A-AW491338 R-3 Purchased Merchandise- Fukasa Sneakers for Women # ************ I purchased these sneakers from DSW for someone who is medically unable to shop for herself. The recipient was unable to walk in the sneakers, safely. When went to the store today which is one day after purchase I was told that the return was denied. The cashier nor the manager, ******, were pleasant but unable to fully explain why the return was denied. The cashier returned my receipt and another piece of paper with a phone number for The Retail Equation. I called the number while I remained in the store and the person who answered told me that my return was denied because of other returns. I asked him to provide me with detailed information about other returns and he said that he was unable to do so. When I pressed him for additional information, he said that he would email the information to me. I asked him to share which email address he would send the information to and he admitted that he didn't have an email address for me. I want my return approved as the item was not worn, was accompanied by a proper receipt and was purchased the day before I attempted the return. I've never heard of The Retail Equation and I was not given any advanced notice of such practices. I have no faith that this is a legitimate entity and I'm concerned that it may be an attempt to compromise my identity. Please help.

    Ive recently had a return with a receipt on an unopened item within the *** return policy timeframe rejected, and received a printout with TRE contact information. The receipt tells you to contact TRE support, which is virtually non existent. TRE clearly outsources most of their customer support to *****. When attempting to call TRE, there is poor communication and lack of information from the costumer service representative. They will offer to send a return report, but this simply lists the items the customer has ************************ to that specific store, which in several cases, was only a few inexpensive items, as was in my case. **************** basically tells you there is nothing they can do.The process they use to determine if someone is abusing the return policy is unknown and I dont understand how returning unused items within the designated time frame is a reason to deny my future returns. this is such a shady process and I dont like being treated like a criminal. If this company has a file of my personal information such as my name, credit card information, etc I am demanding it be erased as I do not condone a company I know so little about to keep and quite possibly sell my private information. I also am demanding a refund on the infrared thermometer I purchased in transaction ID: **************

    I was able to receive a transaction report within 24 hours, so I do not understand the need for 30 days to go by before all transaction information is reviewed and a dispute is resolved. I will most likely initiate a refund with my credit card company after explaining my attempt to a viable return within the allotted timeframe and valid receipt. I also have not received my consumer report from this company that I had requested in my BBB complaint.

    This is in regards to transaction 47432666120TJX! A week after purchasing 2 nightstands and a large mirror for our bedroom I realized that they would not work. At the time of purchase the receipt was stapled to the 2 tags on the nightstands and given to me at the store. I kept it all in my purse just in case I needed to do a return, unfortunately my purse fell in a parking lot, in wet snow and all my things scattered. I picked up everything I could see but in the process the receipt got separated from the tags and went missing. I grabbed the tags not even thinking to look more as it was cold and I thought I got everything. Fast forward a week and I needed to return these items and since I knew I had the tags I didn't think I was missing the receipt. These are large heavy items I was returning by myself and I needed assistance at the store to get them into the store. When I realized the receipt wasn't attached I searched my purse and car but could not find it. I couldn't load them back in my car as they are too heavy for me so I decided to return for in store credit. I knew I would spend back in the store, I buy thousands of dollars every year from Homegoods, ********** and TJ Maxx. I furnish and decorate my home, I buy clothes for my family, and I just recently bought gifts for 4 birthday parties. I spend money there every single week. I looked at my transaction history and it's mostly small dollar amounts. I do my best to keep track of receipts and from now on will email them to avoid this again, but I am human with 2 little kids who get into my bags before I can get the receipt out so sometimes it gets lost or misplaced. I had no clue I would be banned from returning from an honest mishap. I cannot buy expensive items or multiple items from these stores if I am banned from returning. I am an honest person who had no choice but to return without receipt in this situation. Please remove this ban. Thank you!

    On March 7, 2023, I attempted to place an order for the printing of 5 X 7 pictures at the local CVS. I paid online $149.59 for the print job online. When I went to retreive them, the store manager informed me that the print machine was no longer functional. I asked for a refund. The store manager attempted to process the refund and could not. He informed me that due to my return history that CVS was not allowing me to receive a refund. He gave me a number to call. I spoke with someone who could not provide me with any more info other than to state that I should have been sent a warning and that I could request my refund history. I have never in the life of my shopping returned anything from CVS. I shop at CVS mainly to retrieve presriptions. I visited the *** site and obtained my return history. The transcript that I received confirmed the same. The only thing listed was the transaction for the print job that I was requesting a refund for because CVS could not deliver my pictures. I have already filed a dispute with my credit card that is pending due to goods / services never received. I also want whatever this report is to be updated to accurately reflect my status. I have never returned anything from CVS. I was seeking a refund of my online order because the store could not deliver the pictures as promised and paid for. As indicated in my *** history, I have never returned a single item before this. And in this case, it was not a return. CVS did not deliver on its ability to print my pictures. Therefore, I am due a refund. If I have to *** for this nominal amount, I will, because this is ridiculous and crimininal that a customer's funds can unlawfully be kept, when services are not rendered as promised.

    I made a transaction with *********** for $2,435.37 and Im trying to return it but their stupid system TRE the Retail Equation is denying my return I want all my information removed from their data base and would like to return my products to ********** they were for my grandmother she owns a cooking business and she couldnt kid them up the stairs so I have to return it via *** because the nearest ********** is far from me
