I purchased a used Toyota Mirai from this dealership on March 5th. Before purchasing the vehicle I asked the sales manager, *************************** and the salesperson *********** (whom sold me the vehicle) if the vehicle came with a prepaid fuel card as advertised by Toyota when you purchase a Mirai. They both told me they can give me a used fuel card from a previous Mirai owner. When I took delivery of the car they didn't give me a card and I had been asking several days/weeks after purchasing the car if they could give one to me. The sales manager finally got back to me and gave me a faulty card that had belonged to someone else. Days later I got a phone call from ***** telling me he would give me a new card that would work. The screenshots I have provided are from ***** telling me specific days he would have the card for me. He kept on pushing it back until eventually he told me he could no longer give me the card. I called Toyotas corporate number about this experience and learned that the fuel cards are non-transferrable and I should have never been told I could receive a fuel card when buying a used Mirai, nor should they have ever given me someone else's card. I would like to return the vehicle to the dealership since I was told I would receive a fuel card and never did and I would like a reimbursement for the fuel I purchased out of pocket.

Dear Auto Nation, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the rule services provided by Toyota Irvine, specifically the person who names *************************. Despite Toyotas reputation for the good customer service,my experience has been disappointing due to his behavoir mental problem. On 03/10/ 2024. I came to sell my 2020 Toyota Highlander to Toyota Irvine but unfortunately, He was not good manners and very rule customer service. This situation has caused the negative impacts, We had to walk out thr dealership to avoid the big argument between me and him such as he told he was the highest position at this dealership. But when he gave us a business card that was written that he was just a sale manager which is unacceptable from a service expected to his position, I had anticipated a much higher standard of service, especially considering in working at Toyota Irvine. Therefore, I kindly request that I believe that addressing this issue will not only help in resolving my current dissatisfaction but also contribute to the improvement of your services for all customers. Please let me know how you plan to address this issue. I look forward to your prompt response and am hopeful for a satisfactory resolution. If I do not hear back. I will feel compelled to escalate the matter further.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,*******************

On Aug. 30th, 2023. I bought from them a vehicle. I opted in for their "tire care plan" which they said I could cancel anytime. Since then I've changed my mind and no longer wish to have the plan. I've been calling and leaving messages, no one answers the phone nor rerurns my phone calls, making it impossible for me to cancel the plan. They lied to me when they said that if I ever changed my mind on the plan it would be "easy" to cancel it and that I could do just that ANYTIME. For the plan I have to pay an approximate of $30 more on the monthly payment.

I purchased a 2017 ********** Golf GTI on 12/04/2023 and after putting only 546 miles on the vehicle, the fuel pump went out. When I bought the vehicle, they stated it had a warranty of 3 months or 3k miles. I spoke to ***** the Used Car Sales Manager and he stated they can only cover half the cost of the vehicle. I had to borrow the $850 from a family member. As of today, I spoke with ***** telling him I have the half amount to repair my vehicle and he's saying that I would have to pay the entire $1700 in total and they will reimburse me only $800. They're is no way I can come up with another $850

Salesperson told us it was necessary to do repairs in order for car to drive safely.(Not true) Additional work was done without my approval- they replaced the windshield wipers and the radiator hoses without getting pre approval signature to initiate the work. No explanation was given as to why the hoses were replaced for $1k. They charged exorbitantly and did not put back the clips my car had when I came into the shop nor did they put the proper original part wipers back. The wipers are different sizes and off brand. The engine lid bonnet cover is completely unattached. After receiving a second and third opinion, the work done was unnecessary as there was no issues with my car when I brought it in. I brought it in originally for a maintenance oil change only. When I tried to cancel the work after being told that the work was not needed by family, I was told by the salesperson that the work had already been completed. They have price gouged me and I feel extremely taken advantage of. I was charged $3,247.95 for work that should have only been $1,500 *** (on the high side) if it had been done correctly.

8/7/2023 Head Gasket is blown, Towed to the dealer thinking it is trustworthy. Asked to pay $630 to get an estimate. I agreed. Later said the repair cost will be $6519.33. I suggested having a new engine put in instead. ***** said it could not be found when it is actually available. I still agreed to fix it for $6519.33 because I trusted this dealership. A week later advisor sent texts saying it will be $10,000 plus and maybe more for the repair. I said we already have an estimate for $6519.33 and will not pay more. Advisor claimed for his text telling me it will be more than $10,000+ and this meant I had agreed. Later, the advisor claimed $9000 will do. I have never agreed to this and no reasonable person will agree to an open-ended repair bill or fix a car that is 30 years old for $10,000+. This is fraud. I agreed to pay $630 to get an estimate but not $1900 to get an estimate with engine parts taken apart without having it put back together. Advisor now saying it will cost $1900 for me to have my car back without any repair and with parts in a box. I need to be able to tow this car out of this dealership for repair to minimize our dispute while this disputed amount is pending. Advisor stated dealer will not release care till the $1900 is paid. I will pay the $630 if the dealer put my car parts back as before. I should have never trusted this dealership.

I received service for my car in AutoNation Toyota Irvine on Dec. 2, 2022. Initially, I requested to change the oil for my car, and they applied a multi-point inspection, which included the inspection on the engine. However, when I got my car after the service was done, I noticed they failed or forgot to complete their work. First, the hood was not fully closed when I got my car. Then I noticed some abnormal vibration from the engine when it was idling, and later found that caused by an unplugged tube in the engine, which their technician forgot to plug in after service (initially they didn't admit such an issue caused by their service). Third, they inflated my tires with the wrong tire pressure (supposed to be 32 psi, but they set to 35). All these issues could cause serious problems while driving on the road, not only to the car, but also to the people in the car. I would like them to acknowledge their mistake during the service and make up for that.

AutoNation of Toyota performed a warranty repair on my vehicle on 8/27/21. They repeatedly lied, including claiming that the repair had to be done by the vehicle purchase location, which was refuted by their warranty company. on 6/6/22 the replaced alternator failed causing the vehicle to become again nonfunctional. For 4 days I have been brushed aside, given false information, and have still yet to be connected to a manager. They are now not even answering their phone and are sending me to a voicemail for a person who has ignored me for 3 days. I just want them to give me the information for their repair warranty, so that I can get my vehicle functional again.

Purchased Kia ****** in September 2021. In November 2021 I filed a claim about engine oil consumption and engine knocking. It took the dealers service center until March 2022 to replace the engine. In April 2022 I had engine problems again and felt unsafe driving the vehicle. They replaced the engine a 2nd time. I picked up my vehicle on May 23rd 2022 and was promised that it was tested and the engine is good. On May 27th 2022 it overheated on the freeway and I had to get it towed. I was lucky to not have gotten into an accident because it stalled on the freeway exit off ramp. They gave me no clear indication of what the next steps would be and would not even provide a loaner car while this gets figured out.
