This xray badge dosimetry company continues to send annual bills for services not wanted or received over the last 4 years, since cancelling service 4 yrs ago due to poor/ non existent customer service that left my medical practice without proper monitoring. All equipment was returned and cancellation communicated to them years ago. Any balance for services received was paid. They continue to maintain that my account is 'open' and invoice me every year for a year of service even tho they have provided me no service for that year; no badges, no monitoring reports ,etc. When over the years, I have questioned what they are billing me for they refer me to contract auto renewal and cancellation notification requirements that include a written letter requesting cancellation. They can auto renew, send invoices by email, but not accept multiple email notices ( all clearly received) to cancel.Thought these practices were outlawed. If only they worked as hard at customer service as they do at auto renewal scamming techniques!Initial Complaint

We have been a customer with ********************** for our employee dosimeter badges since 2012. Their invoices have always been complicated to determine what badges you are paying for and for what period. Despite that, and the countless "badge read errors" we would get and then have to trade out badges, we continued with them for many years because of the ease of getting readings from their badges on your own. On 3/19/24, I performed a read on all of our badges and had 5 of them produce a "reading error report". When that occurs, their system prompts for you to send them an email of the error report, which I did for each badge, so they received 5 emails. After 2 days of not hearing from them, I decided it was time to cancel our account and seek dosimeter badge service elsewhere because I was tired of the issues and their lack of timely support. On 3/21/24, I sent them an email stating we wanted to cancel our account. I never got a response, so on 3/29/24, I called them to cancel our account. The person I spoke with followed up via email, to which I responded on 4/4/24 indicating I had performed all final badge reads and printed reports (since you lose access once you cancel). It did take me a few days, as I was collecting badges from roughly 20 employees. On 4/9/24, I shipped all our badges back to Mirion. On our final bill, they billed us for badges beyond the time we had them, so I submitted payment for the prorated amount owed through 4/9/24. They now are trying to collect the remaining amount of the invoice. I have sent 2 emails and talked to 2 people to dispute it. I never got a response to my emails and the 2 people both told me I need to talk to a different department. They are now threatening to send us to collections because we didn't cancel more than 30 days before the start of a new period. We paid for the services rendered for the entire time we had the badges. I am requesting they let the remaining invoice amount go, as it is for services not rendered.Initial Complaint

This is an old, cancelled account that I continue to receive bills for monthly services for.The device was returned YEARS AGO and the account was cancelled with no kess than three separate employees over the span of two years. I just received another bill I g notice for continued services. They admit they received the device back but the account is not closed so I am continuing charges. This is at the level of incompetence and harassment. I have emails documenting all of my cancellation requests over the two years.Initial Complaint

Mirion Technologies is a company that ************* Pediatric Dentistry has used for over 11 years for our x-ray monitoring system. Their online portal is out of date, the company has become difficult to update and use. We cancelled our services with this company in August of this year. We have used them for so long, we have never been given an updated contract or any service agreement. Upon cancelation of their services, they are now saying we are in contract with them and threatening to take us to collections for a year of service we were under the impression was cancelled and we are not currently using. Their customer service is horrible. They are impossible to get in touch with and at the time of cancelation we were in no way notified about their contract or told that they are basically an implied subscription and contract. I have asked for a copy of our contract and they cannot produce one and have never sent me our current contract. If there is a contract, it would date back to before 2011 under a different owner, a different company name and a different office manager. I cannot believe that any reputable company would expect payment for 1 year of services and equipment not being used.Initial Complaint

This company used to monitor our radiation badges for our veterinary hospital. They provided this service for us for a couple of years. We experienced many errors in our billing from this company. It was nearly impossible to get any resolution of issues. We spoke to various people on the phone and eventually through email. We were reassured multiple times that the errors had been corrected and we did not owe anything further to the business. After many attempts we were finally able to cancel our account in October of 2020. We received an email about a year ago that we still had an outstanding balance and they were going to turn our business over to collections. Again, after multiple phone calls and emails, I received an email back from a representative of the company telling us to disregard the previous email. Just today, we received yet another email saying we had a balance and they are going to take us to collections. I plan on paying this, even though I do not believe it is correct, in the hopes that this may finally end. This is a source of aggravation and frustration and points to why we stopped doing business with this company over two years ago. Thank you for your attention to this issue.**************************, DVM ************************************Initial Complaint

Our business was an already established client of Mirion through the other branches of our business. Our business is veterinary surgery and we used Mirion for ************ and *****. We were opening a new clinic, IEVSS on 12/1/21. My 1st contact to set up a new account for IEVSS was 11/28/21. We did this and placed our order for x-ray badges the 1st week of December. By January we were told the badges were unavailable and they did not provide a time frame for availability. I emailed requesting our order be canceled on 1/25/22 and never received a response. I emailed for several more months asking for confirmation and never heard back. Phone calls were also unreturned. The badges that were originally ordered and attempted to cancel showed up. We sent them back and I tried again to make contact. An additional order of badges arrived in September. I finally spoke to someone in customer service that said I had to cancel my order and account in writing (which I had already done) via email which I did to their specifications and we sent the badges back again. (and of course we had to cover the shipping) I thought that would finally be the end, but nope! They are continuing to email us overdue invoices for the badges we returned and completely ignoring all attempts of communication to resolve this. They have also ignored my communications to cancel out ************ account, but continue to send invoices but no badges.
