Marina was assigned to us by our warranty company. The first time ***** the technician, was scheduled to arrive on a Tuesday morning between 7am and 11am, he called me on my cell phone on the Monday before at 5pm and asked if he could come "now". He showed up at 6:30pm, stayed for 5 minutes and said nothing was wrong. He simply turned the unit on, it was blowing air, he stated it was working and left. At the time, only my contractor was home. I had asked him to call me when he figured out what was wrong and he never did. I tried to call him several times at 7pm, 7:30pm, and 8pm but he never answered. My daughter and her roommates moved in on October 1st and could never get the air conditioner to stay on for more than an hour or cool the house, especially upstairs. So I called my home warranty company again and asked if they could send someone who would actually take the time to look at the unit to find out why it would not stay on, and when it was on, it was not cooling. And the day I called, we could not get it to turn on at all. I was simply asking for someone to diagnose the problem and then repair the issue.This morning **** showed up again. This time I was here. He walked in, turned down the thermostat and the unit turned on, and began blowing air; however, making a lot of noise. He looked at me and told me it's cooling like a brand new unit. I told him it does not stay on for more than an hour or cool consistently and asked him if he could at least do a diagnostic check and try to find out why the unit did not stay on. He said no, it's running fine and this is what you get with warranty service. I told him I was going to place a call to the Company AND call my warranty service and he said he did not care. he came to my home to diagnose and repair an air conditioner with absolutely no tools. I could not believe how rude he was. he looked at me like how dare a woman ask him to do anything. I should have known his attitude by his vehicle. It has stickers of women's b****** and other offensive images all over it. And the entire side of the van is crushed in. Now I understand having a business and maybe financial issues, but clearly, this Company and especially this person should not be allowed to represent a warranty company.I then read the hundreds of one-star yelp reviews where people had the exact same experience with **** and Marina. Including that they are not trustworthy. I would not recommend EVER letting **** in your home. He was gruff and totally disrespectful to me and my daughter. I only wish my husband had been here, I'm sure **** would have been more polite. He made both of us uncomfortable with his attitude and unwillingness to even open up the unit and take a look inside.
