    Based on discussion with the Mr. ********************** location in Irvine CA I agreed to have them come to my home and replace my six smoke alarms and install lithium batteries in each smoke alarm. They came to my home to perform the work on 1/10/2024 and I paid the invoice (amount $505.70). On Friday 8/23/2024 one of the alarms started chirping and I went to call the Irvine Mr. ********************** location and found out that location was no longer open. I called the phone number on the invoice *************) and was directed to a headquarters in **** *****, I explained the issue and was told the problem would be escalated. They did not return my phone call, so I called on Saturday 8/24/2024, again I explained the issue and was told the issue would be escalated, again no one called back. I called again on Sunday 8/25/2024 with the same result. I then contacted a local handyman to come to my home to resolve the issue. The issue was that a lithium battery was not installed as I was told on 1/10/2024, the local handyman resolved the issue and charged me $110.00. When I did not receive a call back from the Mr. ********************** headquarters on Monday 8/26/2024 I had the local handyman come back to my home on Tuesday 8/27/2024 and replace the batteries (which were not lithium) in my other five smoke alarms, I was charged an additional $228.00. I realize this is not a significant amount of money, but on the Mr. ********************** website it mentions a "Done Right Promise". I am seeking a resolution. Thank you.
