  Cant thank you enough. They stuck with me for almost a year fighting my case and no charge until I was approved. I honestly thought I was going to lose everything, but they never gave up. Im beyond grateful and would recommend them to anyone who feels hopeless with their mortgage. Lenders will lie and say they will help you but they wont!!

  Formal Complaint Against The Retention Group To Whom It May Concern:I am submitting this complaint regarding The Retention Group due to deceptive business practices, lack of service delivery, and failure to provide a refund after my issue was resolved by an outside ******** June of 2025, I engaged The Retention Group for assistance with a mortgage-related issue. As part of their service agreement, I was required to pay a fee up front and was promised regular, weekly updates and support throughout the resolution process.Unfortunately, after receiving my payment, the communication from The Retention Group became sporadic and unprofessional. Despite multiple attempts on my part to obtain the updates that were promised, responses were delayed, vague, or entirely absent. At no point did I receive consistent or transparent communication, and no tangible progress was made on my case by the company.Ultimately, it was my mortgage lender, *** ******* who stepped in and resolved the matter independently-- without any contribution or assistance from The Retention Group. Once the issue was resolved by *** ******* The Retention Group CEASED ALL COMMUNICATION WITH ME. I received no follow-up, no explanation, and NO REFUND, despite the fact that they failed to deliver the services they promised and were paid to provide.I believe this constitutes both A BREACH OF AGREEMENT and UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. I am formally requesting a FULL REFUND for services NOT rendered and the time lost throughout this process.Requested Resolution:A full refund of the fees paid to The Retention Group ($2,750) for services that were never rendered.I read so many reviews and prayed that this company would provide the relief and support I needed, but I received neither. If you're looking for real help, look elsewhere. The Retention Group preys on people in vulnerable situations and disappears when accountability is needed most.

At The Retention Group, our goal is always to support our clients with professionalism, transparency, and care throughout what can often be a stressful ********** this case, the client did receive an approval as a direct result of the work our team provided. We also honored her request for a full refund of all fees paid. While the outcome was positive, we understand the clients concern that communication during the final stages of the process did not feel as frequent or detailed as she would have liked. We recognize how important consistent updates are during such a sensitive time, and we take that feedback seriously.Since then, the client has personally expressed appreciation, apologized for how her initial complaint was worded, and has even attempted to remove it with multiple emails sent to **************************************** Unfortunately, it appears the posting remains online despite her efforts.We remain thankful for the opportunity to have served this client, and we are glad she received the approval she needed.   I am so glad I trusted The Retention group for my mortgage relief. After my son passed away i stopped working for over six months and was on the verge of losing my home. I have two other children to care for and homelessness would have been absolutely devastating. The retention group actively communicated with me as well as my lenders to get me back on track! Thank you Retention Group!

  I want to thank The Retention Group. After a dirty divorce, I was finding it almost impossible to pay my alimony and child support, rent for my ex-wife and my mortgage along with major credit card debt. I reached out to the Retention Group and they had me explain my situation. They did not coach me; they did not judge me. They simply went to work with my lender to stop me from foreclosure. I was so far behind on my mortgage that my lender would no longer accept payments until I could get up to date but was thousands behind and falling even further. The Retention Group saved me. They worked with my lender and got me approved for a program to forebear all my debt and rolled it to the back end of the mortgage, essentially extending the life of the loan. Then they got my lender to approve a modification loan reducing my payment by hundreds of dollars a month. The process was simple and never felt embarrassing, weekly updates, two-way communication until resolved. Thank you, Retention Group. You have literally saved me from homelessness. ***** G

  I was very skeptical initially when I inquired because it sounded too good to be true, but Mr. ****** and his team delivered 100%. We were on the verge of losing everything, and now my family and I are current on our mortgage and very grateful. If I had anything negative to say, I wish they would give daily updates instead of weekly ones. As a homeowner it's the only thing on your mind, perhaps it's best to just "trust the process" because your in good hands with these folks.

When you refused to pay, we understood that maybe you are having some financial difficulties and we went ahead and waived the fees as we are here to help homeowners. Although we are deserving of the fees due to services rendered, we simply requested that you place a good review in lieu of us waving your fees.
