In my opinion, the owners of this road are big time scammers. I paid the toll on their website the day I went through. I looked at my account online a couple weeks later and it said I owed zero. A couple weeks later I log in again on their website under my license plate and it says I owe zero. So most people would think they are all squared away, right? Nope Their $6 charge turns to over $200.Everywhere on the website says I owe $0. ****! The website isnt accurate and theres a $200 charge that youd need to call in to find out about! I put in my boyfriends license plate to see if he owes anything and it says he owes $11. I pay it feeling relief that hes all paid up. ****! Apparently he didnt owe $11. The $11 fee after I put in his license plate number was a transponder fee. I dont need a transponder- we dont live in **. They never indicated the $11 fee was for a transponder. If my boyfriend doesnt check his mail who knows what kind of late charges and fees they will wind up charging him. His balance online also says zero too, but I think they do that so that everyone gets charged late fees. Scammers with a capital S! Do not Trust! Greed is the word for these people!

Customer ********************** is of no help. I sold a car that had a toll sticker. I removed the car toll road account on the day I sold it on *** website. I was still charged for a toll that was out of our area. The supervisor explained that removing the vehicle transponder from their website does not guarantee I won't be charge even after I sold the car. The representative even told me to take the sticker off the vehicle and call their office to make sure. The supervisor, Kimleah, told me that they cannot reverse any charge on my account. I felt rip off by this company. Be cautious dealing with them.

PREDATORY! Make sure you read the fine print. I was charged numerous times for a transponder sticker, even though I removed the vehicle from my account.

******. I signed up for this service specifically for the rental car I had. Theres an option to sign up for a personal vehicle and a rental. Obviously I chose the rental car option as I dont live in **********. Somehow my account got set up as a personal vehicle and I started getting charged for tolls for the rental car weeks after Ive returned it. When I called customer **********************, I was told that due to the rental agreement of it being a personal vehicle they are not liable for any charges made on my account and refused to refund.

I dont have enough words to review about this agency. They are just a cheating agency to rip off customer and violate the civil right of people. Hope some one will sue this business for violating the civil right of people.

They charged me for a toll someone obtained using an old license plate number. I sold that car to my mom and dmv changed the plate number. Had no clue I had this account from years ago. Called them and they said I had to pay someone else’s toll since it’s my responsibility to remove license plate from account. So I removed car and had to pay someone else’s toll to close this account.
Make sure you don’t leave any license plates on this website.

They sent me a toll charge for a vehicle that was approximately 700 miles away from the location at the date specified. I don't even know exactly where this toll highway is, nor have I ever been there. I could overlook it as a simple mistake, but the aggressive approach and ridiculously escalating fines make this look more like a legally approved scam. It is a PITA to challenge, and they do not provide an online option. The appeal is mailed, at my expense, but I have little faith that this is the end of the issue. It would be much less of a hassle to simply pay the fine ($8.57), but I will not give in and play their game. The $8.57 escalates to $108.57 in 2 weeks, and then in another 4 weeks they say they will place a lien against my vehicle. A lien over a toll highway? How in the world does the State of California allow this practice to continue?

Get your transponder from anywhere else but these people! I bought an active transponder with a form of payment on file. They didn't bill me because I wanted a notification for each toll, and for whatever reason, they implied that I didn't want to get billed automatically. I run a rental business and I need to know when someone causes a toll to be charged so I can ask for reimbursement. This wasn't a problem with ****** until they went out of business and I was forced to buy a transponder directly from thetollroads. I bought one from AAA from Metro Expresslanes for $40 including $40 in toll credits and told thetollroads to shove their transponder. I have over $200 in violations for only 4 tolls that weren't even theirs and I can't renew my vehicle registration until they're resolved. Since this is a private company, they aren't exempt from small claims lawsuits.

Negative stars. This agency operates in a very deceptive and predatory manner to basically steal money from toll road users. They do not send a timely bill or provide enough time for users to pay the toll fee for those without an account. Instead they only give 5 days to pay online (no bill sent, no reminder) then they hit you with a $150+ fine. Then when you go to pay they don't show you everything you owe and don't tell you when you haven't paid the full amount. They should be investigated and audited.
