    In December of 2023, I purchased a Lifetime License for a **************** suite from Paragon Software. I have a mac computer, and searched for a product compatible with my Mac OS system, and this was the product that came up as the option, and even though the product was labeled as "HFS+ for Windows," I was able to install it on my computer successfully and had been using the software without problems. Given that this is a lifetime license, I should be able to do all upgrades necessary to keep my software up to date, and this was the primary reason for me to purchase a lifetime product. However, in November of 2024, I received notification from Paragon that a new, updated version of the product, was available and that I would be able to download this new version from the website. After following the instructions and downloading the updated software, I noticed that the installer they made available for me was Windows only, and hence not compatible with my Mac OS system, so I contacted customer support to ask for their assistance. This started a 6-week-long process of back and forth emails with their team who, not only were not able to solve my problem, have refused to provide me with a reimbursement. Again: I purchased a lifetime license, so I shouldn't run into such issues. Additionally, they kept asking me for proof of purchase (which I did several times) and were never open to trying to actually solve my problem.
