    Great Collections is the next big leap forward for our collecting, buying and selling hobby, fraternity and or business. A coin aficionado for over fifty years! After third party grading and digital photography, this business model is the fast, accurate, fair and efficient way to exchange coins. I have done six figure transactions with these folks that have met my highest expectations and are very fair and reasonable on the expense side. I highly recommend Great Expectations. *** and *************** treat you like friends. ****

    I have done business with them several times and they have always been perfect in every way. They answer any questions, answer their phones and return your call just like people want. They get top prices as they have a huge viewing base. I look forward to doing more business in the future.

    I SENT GREAT COLLECTIONS A BAG OF UNGRADED ***** OF VARIOUS DENOMINATION.....i called them and talked to **** wedding and told him i am very sick from ******* 100 percent disabled and asked for my coins back. this has been going on over a year WEDDING TOLD ME HE WAS SENDING THE ***** BACK A MONTH AGO AND NO ***** WERE SENT BACK...THEY HAD SOME GRADED THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GRADED AS THE QUALITY WAS NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE UP FOR THE **** GRADING FEE...THEY SOLD THE GRADED ***** AND I DOUBT IF I BROKE EVEN. I TOLD WEDDING I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE REST OF THE ***** BACK BEFORE I DIE TO GIVE TO MY GRANDKIDS...VA TOLD ME I DID NOT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT DUE TO MY *****. WEDDING KEEPS TELLENING ME HE WILL SEND THE ***** BACK...NO ***** BACK. I AM GOING TO GO WITH THE VETERANS ASSOCIATION TO TRY TO GET THE ***** BEFORE I DIE FROM THE ***** FAILING....VETERANS GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF HERE.....THEY SURE DO NOT CARE OF SICK VETERANS WHO WENT TO WAR.....AVOID THIS COMPANY VETS...

    My experience with this company was a nightmare. Took nearly 4 months to receive a check from my consigned items auction. Numerous emails were ignored and they knowingly left me unpaid with zero communication hoping I would forget and they would not have to pay me.

    No communication from this company. I filled out an online form to begin the process of having my coins price quotes. I got no response other than a confirmation email from support at greatcollections.com. I emailed one week later and got not response. I emailed again, and again, no response. Will not do business with this company

    ***************** doesn't practice what they preach. They insist I send coins in for consignment using **** Registered Mail, which is costly and requires I indicate the estimated value of each coin and pay extra for that insurance. Registered Mail takes a longer time to ship, also, because they ship separately from regular mail. But the company themselves ship out any coins I buy in regular **** mail either not insured or insured for $100 and mostly don't even require the recipient to sign for the packaged coins. I've had won coins that just never showed up and it took ***************** months in negotiations with their insurer before I was finally compensated monetarily. Of course, the coin is lost which can be a problem if their aren't main in existence. My point in emails to them is they don't ship with the same level of security as they require I ship coins (Registered Mail from ****). It is a bit hypocritical to tell me to ship one way, but they take the easy, cheaper way. I've had 3 lost shipments mailed from GC to me and they blame me. I'm losing faith in their integrity as a company. I am shipped coins to them Tuesday (Registered Mail), but buyer beware if you win because their shipping auction wins to the customer aren't secure. These guys need to change their policies for the customer instead of the ownership.

    AVOID! Will not buy or sell from these people ever again. The photos are overexposed to hide defects that are not mentioned in description. They offer a 24 hour return policy and it will take them a week or more to refund after they receive the return. If you return more that 1x ( I had 2 returns in a month due to photos not matching the coin received) they will charge a restocking fee, none of the shipping is covered either way. When you call to talk to them, you will find they have hired people that dont know anything, dont want to tell you their name and cant do anything without some hidden approvals. When you contact them to remove your personal data and account information since they are not customer service oriented, they will completely ignore you!
