    My daughter and I have been working with this company for a little over 3 years. We initially hired Sketch Profs to do some sketches for us which went pretty well. After the sketches were done, we were told that they could publish our book. It seemed like a great idea to get everything completed with one company. Every time we reached a point that we thought the book was completed after the reviews we were told the book was ready, but it never was completed. In January 2023 we were told that we had to pay more money because we were requiring too many edits, so we were offered a deal to complete the process. They would pay half and we would pay half. We were always moved to another project manager that would complete the process but it never was until wee heard from the legal department saying the book could not be published until we paid for the copyright and the trademarks which had never been disclosed until 12/2024. We were asked to pay a total of $1960 onetime and lifetime government pay. Since that time the fee has been discounted to $1000 giving us minutes to pay. The high fee is because of a 3rd party will do the work. I have spoken to the US **************** and was told it costs only $65 to copyright a book with illustrations. Sketch Profs says that trademark filings range from $275 - $350 per illustration. I spoke to ***** of the US *************************** reference # 1-853463150 and was informed that trademarks are not required for a single book, trademarks are issued for book series like ***********************. I informed Sketch Profs and they are insisted that can't proceed without copyright and trademark.

    Re Project ID #s SPROF - *****, SProf ******. 12/20/21 - 04/25/23, I have been contracting with Sketch Profs.first contract was for 216 illustrations for a children's books; I also contracted with unlimited illustrations and low-content books, including 550 ISBN numbers, 550 Copyrights, Flags, stickers, coloring books of the children's books, trademark, logo, websites, marketing. The five-language apps consists of lessons to learn all languages, games app, games website, Art in Frames drop ship Turnkey business supposed to be live online in 48 hours was never activated, lingerie drop-ship business never activated, tax calculation, bookkeeping, and accounting business.They charged me for WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) Artwork Registration and WIPO Notarization of The Artwork Registrations. They gave me a receipt from themselves and WIPO; however, **** investigated this and said that the receipt and documentation they provided to me with WIPO letterhead on it was not from WIPO; thus, it was likely a fraud, scam, or document that they copied and pasted WIPO letterhead on a document to collect money from me.They charged me $ 6,186 + $ 5,200 for WIPO. They have not issued any credit for this. They have not completed any project at all. They have completed many illustrations; however, they did not make the final revisions requested or all of the illustrations are due. They didn't make the book cover, collage, index or add fun facts or games to the older kid's version. They did not give me a completed final file nor have the illustrator sign a transfer of copyright ownership rights to me with no stipulations. They only made a demo website with most sections incomplete. They only made a demo website with most sections incomplete. They only made a demo language app with an image of a cell phone with 8 language names App Dept said project was on hold, very little was done. They never uploaded any games to the games app. They owe me 112,000. I feel like they scammed me a lot.They charged my credit card 43 times.
