******************* of David's Tree Service performs a yearly contracted service of root barrier inspection. One of the requirements is that the inspection is performed by a ********* arborist. At the last inspection on 4/2023 David's Tree Service and ******************* represented ******************* to be an ISA ********* arborist. ******************* was NOT ********* but represented himself as such and performed the inspection anyways. After the inspection he stated it was a "misunderstanding" that his certification had "lapsed" and it was "on appeal" with the ********************* of ******** ****** This is false. I contacted ***, they stated it is not "on appeal" and he has not been ********* since early 2023 and he needs to stop representing / advertising himself as such. Months later that has not occurred, despite *** contacting him. Specifically, 7 months later, David's Tree Service continues to falsely represent ************************* as ********* on their website (************** certification #WE ***** A ). It appears they have no intention of correctly representing *********************** lack of credentials, exposing themselves to liability. ******************* has refused to correct it: It is still falsely advertised that he is ISA ********* . (************************************************). You can verify his lack of certification here: TreesAreGood.org This issue will come up again in **** as it is a contracted yearly service by my neighbor as part of a settlement agreement. The agreement specifies a ********* arborist is to perform the work. ******************* performs it but he is not ********* and has shown himself to be dishonest by (1) failing to correct it and (2) continuing to represent himself as such.I would like David's Tree Service discontinue using ******************* as a ********* arborist. He is not & they are exposing themselves to liability.I would like the BBB to enforce truth in advertising. Since months have passed since the discrepancy was found and the party was informed, it appears wilfull.Thank you.
