    On 11/4/2024 I found that my data is present on Peoplewhiz. I tried to have my profile removed, but they are requiring a photo ID to opt out of their public and for profit databases. I am opting out to protect my identify from theft. I want my information removed from their site including all public and for profit databases.

    Requested deletion of data from data broker peoplewhiz. Could hear typing on computer.Said it was not working and I would have to call back, so a refusal to remove data.I informed him that CA has laws against selling personal data.

    Website published my information without authorization. When requesting to opt out, website required photo of ID. I do not consent to this requirement and hereby request to remove all information pertaining to my name removed.

    I understand that my personal information is being used and sold by Peoplewhiz and it's affiliates and I want my information removed from their websites and databases. I will not submit my GA Drivers Licence, as this is confidential information any thief could use. I have selected "remove My Info" and followed their instructions, there was no "confirmation prompt" to remove my information. I repeated the process x 3 to make sure I didn't overlook it. There isn't a single spot by my name to confirm it is me and request removal of all my info. This is ridiculous! Furthermore, My Experian account is showing multiple variations of the company using my info: PeopleWhiz, PeopleWhizNet, *************, PeoplesWizCom, PeopleWizardCom. This feels fraudulent in itself.

    On 11/1/2024 I found that my data is present on Peoplewhiz and it's affiliates. They are requiring a photo ID to opt out of their public and for profit databases. I do not feel comfortable providing this information while trying to protect my identify from theft. Other similar site do not require identification. I want my information removed from their site including all public and for profit databases and those of their affiliates. I also want it to be removed in the future if it is to ever reappear

    People Whiz aggregated my personal information on the web without my permission. Other companies also do this, but they give you an option to opt out. While People Whiz claims to also allow one to opt out, in actuality, they require a copy of your PERSONAL DRIVERS LICENSE in order to process it. Since this would actually give them ACCURATE and additional personal information, I would have to be an idiot to send them my DL. Who knows what they would do with the information--maybe steal my identity? This company is fraudulent and I would never do business with them.

     I attempted to check on this resolution via the People Whiz website. I did a search on my info and it took 15 minutes to return a message saying that my info was not on their site. This is a good start even though it is an unreasonable long time to return this info. Also, if they still have the same policy of requiring a government issued ID to remove info, this is unethical and should be stopped immediately.

    My ********************** has alerted me that my personal information is being used and sold by Peoplewhiz and it's affiliates and I want my information removed from their websites and databases. I am not willing to send them a copy of my driver's license or any other additional forms of identification as I do not want them having access to any additional personal forms of data. I also do not authorize them to sell any of my information for any reason! I want all of the information they have collected about me removed from their databases and also want it removed from all their affiliated sites and databases as well. Asking for my email address and identification to do this is invasive and I do not trust them already. Why would I give them additional items that could be used to aide in the theft of more of my information or that could be used fraudulently? Please delete my info.

    I was requesting that PeopleWhiz site delete all the information that they have on me. My social security number and other personal information was found on the dark web. My Experian ID protection found all my information on this site and one other. PeopleWhiz asks for my ID as proof of my identity either my mail, fax or email, which I do not feel comfortable doing, especially since my data was stolen. My information was stolen by a data bank being hacked.I would like my information removed now without proof of my identification.

    On 10/25/24, ****** shared with me that PeopleWhiz is making my personal information available online. I went to remove this information and PeopleWhiz is requiring me to upload identification--in other words, they are asking me to provide additional personal and sensitive information to remove the information I already did not give permission to share!
