I had gone to my primary care physician (not Adventist Health) for a severe cough that wasn't going away, which may have been caused by an ear infection that had not presented itself as an infection and had spread (jury is still out on that). For months, I was prescribed three different antibiotics, four different inhalers (two of them steroids), and at least one steroid pill. Every time I went in, I requested to be referred to a specialist. Went in yet again to find that, according to said doctor, that I now had a fungal infection in my ears because of the antibiotics that DID NOT FIX A THING. Finally, after forcing an issue that ended with my primary care and I splitting ways, the Specialist was contacted roughly the beginning of June. This ENT Specialist is with Adventist Health. What has happened since has made no sense. I have been rescheduled by Adventist Health three times, despite my hearing getting worse, the cough still happening, and my overall health worsening. My insurance is perfectly fine with me seeing the specialist. Last week I got the call for the THIRD reschedule, this time telling me that "Oh, turns out we're on holiday on the early September date you had, so now we have to push you out until the end of October."Struggling for a doctor to refer me to a specialist for MONTHS, then the SPECIALIST through Adventist Health in Tulare wants to keep rescheduling me, after not caring enough to not schedule people DURING THEIR OWN HOLIDAY?! I was told this was done to FIFTY-FOUR other people! This is not ************* this is forcing prolonged suffering upon a patient. I may very well lose my hearing before that appointment.I have repeatedly called their *************** line that says they respond within 24 hours... it's been almost a week, and still have not heard anything even after saying I'd report it to the BBB if they didn't get back to me. I also warned them that if I go deaf because of their ignoring the issue, I will sue.
