    I paid a $270 deposit on August 12 for private at home swimming lessons for my son. I was told an instructor was going to contact me a week before the first lesson which (lessons would start latest the week of august 28) I got a notification that an instructor had picked up the lessons and would contact me - they never did and I left messages and phone calls with no return. This happened twice with 2 separate instructors and Safety First Aquatics assured me they would find me a local instructor ASAP. I was still getting reminder texts for sessions as well as messages to pay the rest/$800 when the instructor shows up. Then I got an automated message that we had a lesson the 7th and would be for the next 10weeks on Wednesday's. The instructor did not answer any calls or messages as I was hoping to confirm- but I moved around my schedule anyways to make sure I was available at that time - they no showed and did not return my text message, voicemails or emails. Now Safety First is ignoring me, I assume because I would like my deposit back. I don't have time to wait like this and it's very upsetting to read reviews that this is common with this company. It's impossible to get through by phone as it always says someone is on the other line.. This is unacceptable to not even return a call when we get one no show, let alone 3.

    I signed up for swimming lessons with ****** and it was required to pay for services upfront with a deposit of $337.50 and the rest when an instructor was assigned in the amount of $1,012.50. Total $1,350.00 I paid for 18 sessions for both my boys 30 minutes each. By session 3, both instructor and I agreed my kids were not ready for swimming lessons. I cancelled the remaining 15 lessons with more than 24 notice which is their policy for a refund. I got an email stating I will get a refund in 5-10 business days back on August 4th. It's been a month now and no one is responding to my calls or my emails and I have yet to receive a refund for services that never took place.
    Is there anything you can do to help me get my refund. I am owed $1,125

    I've attached the invoice and the email communication that I would get a refund within 5-10 business when they submit my refund request. I waited 4 weeks now.

    Terrible response and customer service- will ONLY take emails, no phone calls.
    Took over a month to assign us an instructor and I had to reach out to them over and over. They said they had to "pull an instructor from their community lessons."
    Were very quick to take the entirety of payment, but after 6 lessons with our instructor, he shared that he's only been paid $20. And when I asked him where he taught community lessons, he shared that he never did and we were his first clients ever with Safety 1st.
    I don't know what our $720 is going to, but it's definitely NOT the instructor doing all the work!
